How to set bluetooth automatic reconnect after disconnect? - HD2 General

How can you set the HD2 bluetooth to automatically reconnect to the last connected audio device if a disconnect happens ?
For instance if you move away from the bluetooth device too far and it disconnects, and then you come back close - automatic reconnect does not happen.
The iPhone automatically reconnects when you are back in proximity.
This is important for the car kit.
Thanks

Using H710 bluetooth headset and the same question. I set the phone down, get 10 feet away, come back and have to do the sync all over again. I should be able to just come back into range and have it reconnect. Also, if I've sync'd it once, all I should have to do is turn on the headset and have it reconnect.

you should be able to press the call button and or play button and it should automatically connect, failing that turn off and then back on your headset should connect to the last device.is your phone swithed to always discoverable.

Bluetooth headset / need to refresh to reconnect

I'm using a bluetooth car unit that acts as a BT headset. I've succesfully paired it with the phone and it works fine. But if I either turn the unit on and off or walk out of range and walk back in, I end up having to go to "Bluetooh Connections", "Devices", selecting my device, clicking on refresh and selecting the headset service againa and clicking on "Save" to make it reconnect. The car unit is set to poll the phone every 30sec, so after I re-enable the service on the phone, the unit will connect.
Is there any way to either have the phone automatically do this or maybe create a shortcut to perform this operation so it's not so painful to reconnect?
People using headsets, is this necesarry for them as well?

Bluetooth connection with Pioneer 9880BT car audio

In my car I've the Pioneer 9880BT (with bluetooth support). I can connect with the radio without any problem, but I saw a lot of limitations. I can't transfer my contacts to the radio. It freezes in the receiving contacts screen and then the bluetooth disconnects. Another thing is that after connecting, the only thing in the display that appears is that the hermes is connected. It don't display signal strength, battery power and other things that I saw after connecting a friend's basic cellphone from Nokia or Motorola.
Is there a way to solve these problems?
Thanks
Try installing Jetwaremobile on the phone, that extends the bluetooth capabilities.

Thanks, I'll try it
It worked, thanks a lot
I have only one problem now, i still can't send my contacts.
Sending contacts have now worked, but there is another problem. I can't send more than 7 contacts a time. Hermes displays that has sent all the contacts (it sends very fast), but in the radio it freezes after sending 6/7 contacts. Closing the sending window in hermes, the radio displays contacts sent. Maybe the sending is too fast?
Thanks.
I was wondering iif you were able to get the pioneer to automatically detect the phone? I have a tytn and the P980BT and everything works great except for the contacts and the fact that I have to manually establish a connection with the phone.
Now it's eveything ok, I've installed Jetware 1.2 beta version. Now I've transfered all the contacts (273) without any problem.
The connection is automatic only when the bluetooth is active. If you turn the radio off (and in your car the radio is turned off after turning the car off) then you need to connect manually after turning the radio on.
If you can turn the radio on even with the car off, then the bluetooth will stay active even turning the radio off (you will see the bt light on), and after returning to the car, the bt will connect automatically. It won't connect only if you turn off and take the face off. Then you need to connect manually again.
interresting
So you work around is to keep the deck powered at all times and manually shutoff when you leave the car. Can you remove the faceplate and still have it work?

Bluetooth connecting but not really

I have a N6P, rooted 6.0.1 with Xposed. I use MacroDroid to automate some processes. E.g. I have a macro that enables bluetooth whenever I leave the house and my phone disconnects from the home wifi network. In my car I use a Parrot CK3100 bluetooth voice kit. I want my phone to automatically connect to the kit whenever bluetooth on my phone is enabled and I start my engine (and the Parrot becomes powered). Whenever I switch on bluetooth manually and it is on for some time and I get into my car and start the engine, my phone connects to the Parrot without any problems.
I also have a macro which actions are that a sound is played and it vibrates whenever the phone connects to my Parrot. But whenever I leave my house, I can see that my bluetooth is enabled but when I get into my car and start the engine, I can hear the sound and feel the vibration of the MacroDroid macro, but the screen of the Parrot still shows the Parrot logo and not the name of my phone. So MacroDroid confirms that a connection has taken place (otherwise there wouldn't be any sound and vibration), but in fact the phone and Parrot are not connected. Going then into BT settings and trying to connect manually works in 50% of the cases.
I have also tried AutomateIT to get this working, but with the same outcome. And the app Bluetooth Auto Connect (to force the connection) didn't bring any luck either.
Because when enabling BT manually before I leave the house the connection succeeds and when using the macro it does not (neither in MacroDroid not in AutomateIT), I suspect that it may have something to do with the (short) time between the enabling of BT and the powering on of the Parrot, but I'm not sure.
Anyone any ideas?

Bluetooth not automatically reconnecting

I have paired and connected my N6P to my Laptop over Bluetooth. Unfortunately whenever I go out of range or turn off my Bluetooth, my connection does not reconnect after getting back into range or after having turned back BT back on. This is very annoying as I have to delete the connection on both devices and repair and reconnect to get them to talk to each other. Does anybody know why this is happening?

Cannot turn on BT phone connection

Hi,
Just got G4+ unlocked for US. When pair with Bluetooth headset, the "phone" option would only work once. If I turn BT off and then back on, I can only use "media" option to pair. "Phone" option would not stay checked. Voice calls go to phone speaker. This can be fixed by soft reset or putting the phone in airplane mode and then back on. Again, only works once until BT is turned off. After the first time, all voice calls go thru phone speaker again. I have BT sets in the car and at home, but at home usually use the phone speaker, so I turn BT off once get home. Never had this issue with multiple other phones. Phone still connects automatically to the BT when I get into the car, but cannot route voice calls thru the BT.
Tried to unpair/delete device, empty cache... No luck. Only works once until BT is turned off.
Very frustrating. Phone is on stock 6.0.1 on TMo, not rooted.
Any ideas. Saw a few other posts with same issues out there but no solutions.
Thanks much.
