S2U2 and G-Alarm - HD2 General

For some reason I can't get G-Alarm to work with S2U2. I'm using the latest versions of both.
What happens is that the phone wakes up, but then S2U2 stays on screen and the alarm is not triggered.
Maybe somebody knows a set of settings that will allow G-Alarm to work with S2U2.
Thanks.

Its working with mine but seems to be triggering the windows alarm aswell, wierd.
In s2u2 settings/ advanced/exceptinal exes list add Galarm.exe and Galarm popup.exe

I've finally managed to do it. Here are the settings in case somebody else needs them:
I put all 3 G-Alarm exe in the Exceptional list
The S2U2 settings are in the attachements
Maybe not all the settings are needed, however these worked for me. Feel free to experiment and to let us know if you discover something interesting.
BTW, I'm using S2U2 v. 2.20.

You only need to put GAlamScreen.exe in the S2U2 exception list.

klaxon will work when you change in s2u settings "Do not suspend system" to ON, i had the same problem, don't know how to fix alarm on s2u screen
Hi, thanks for your input.
What option should I look for if I want to use Klaxon and S2U2 ? Klaxon does not work well when used with S2U2... Impossibe to rely on it in the morning...
The option you quote "do not suspend system", I can't locate it in parameters... Where exactly is it ?

notification for missed SMS

does anyone know how i can make my TD vibrate when i missed an SMS/EMAIL/CALL
(and keep vibrating every 5 minutes or so untill i read the message)
???
I'm intersted in this too. Is it possible?
I am very interested to this. + 1!
great idea!
it is possible?
Phoneweaver can do this among other things. Google it, its not freeware thou.
SPB Phone Suite can do this!
Pocketmax PhoneAlarm as well...
I believe all of these are Today plugins, so you'll need something like SecondToday to run them.

Also you can try one of this application, doesn't do exactly what you need, but it's useful.
Ciao, Andrea
I'm using OS Remind Me and it's work pretty well. Here the link: http://oldsap.blogspot.com/2008/06/os-remind-me-v10.html

To get this to startup on phone start, go to program files/osRemindme, create a shortcut for the exe, then cut and paste to your windows/startup folder.
For this same purpose I have been using the alarmPal for sometime now, and now also on Diamond. Apart from vibrate, you can set reminders of missed calls/sms/email, like 1 time repeat every 2 minutes for next 3 times.
Check my signature for my solution (VibraNotify under 3 utilities)
SecondToday is not needed.
I am using SPB Phonesuite and once installed it is running in background. You can manage the setting in Start -> Settings -> System -> SPB Phone Suite. In phone notification you can select reminder for unread message and missed call in every 1/5/15/30 min and notification type (sound and/or vibrate).
Just without secondtoday you cannot use other feature like photo speed dial. And I did not notice any extra battery consumption.
((I have never tried Phoneweaver and Phonealram but if they would add the programme shortcut anywhere in the windows and running in the background just like SPB Phonesuite do, then I suppose you don't need SecondToday too))
I've just switched from Phoneweaver to SPB Phonesuite. Both can be controlled without the today screen, but I preferred SPB Phonesuite as you can set it to remind you with a tone different to the normal one. Phoneweaver reminds you too but plays the same tone. Both have automatic profiles too, which work excellently.

iPhone like Alarms Manager

I´d like to know if there is any alarm manager for Wm like the iPhone? Easy to use and where you can activate/deactivate alarms by sliding an indicator.
I´ve tried G-Alarm and Klaxon and neither of them is good - and easy to use - enough.
I use spbtime as i find it is the most finger friendly alarm manager out there. I also have used SSMaPa to configure the BIG TF3D clock to go to spbtime when i touch it, so setting the alarm at night for me is a 5 second things instead of a lets get the stylus out...
Simple Alarm
If you interest, you can test use my own Alarm.
You can quickly toggle alarm active by double clicking on speaker icon of each alarm.
But no cab file, only zip. Unpack to phone and try it

It looks very nice, i´ll try and leave my feedback.
I´ve tried, but it lacks some features, it doesn´t integrate with the TF3D correctly..
Do you know any other alarm for HD similar to the iPhone one?

S2U2 1.52 with G-Alarm

Hi,
I hope this problem was not discussed here?
When I use the new S2U2 Version 1.52 together with G-Alarm 1.5.1 than the alarm does not work.
When I change back to S2U2 Version 1.50d than it is working.
Following things are happend:
The display goes on, but S2U2 gives not really the screen free. You could the a part from S2U2 and a part of Windows (Calendar and Contacts)
What I could say now is, that when the display is going on than it is hanging between S2U2 and Normal display.
After a while it is go to the sleep mode - than is comeing back and gives the alarm
But when you load the Touch HD and the S2U2 settings are without sleep settings then it will gives no alarm.
That was happend on monday - And the good thing was that I had a second clock because I had to go to the airport very early in the morning :-(
I don´t know was is going wrong here?
Thank you for some information

You should post this in the S2U2 thread, and mention also what device you have, the more information you give the easier somebody can help you. I have S2U2 v. 1.52c installed and gAlarm v. 1.47 and works fine for me, when the alarm goes off it is on top of S2U2 and i can snooze or switch it off normally.

Best alarm app integrated with sense

What would be the best alarm app which integrates with TF3D?
I understand that most of them handle the alarms by themselves, so if I set an alarms at 8:35 it will not change also the WM alarm and on the main sense page the alarm will be set to off
Try G-Alarm this will do what you want. Also see the patch by 12aon that uses the button on home screen for G alarm.
I tried g alaarm but it hangs my hd2 a lot.. not sure if I'm the only one having problem but I have to hardreset

Read a lot and pls tell me if the following is correct:
- I install G-Alarm
- I use the hack to remap the manila alarm box
- when setting an alarm in G-Alarm, G-Alarm will create a dummy WM alarm that will show up on the manila alarm box, instead of ALARM OFF
Please can you give me the link to the g-alarm-patch for redirect click on alarm-button in sense?
You have to disable g-sensor-settings in G-Alarm, otherwise G-Alarm will hang up your device (G-Alarm can´t use HD2 g-sensor).
You have to edit the registry because of the midnight-wake-up --> battery drain. Can´t give you the exact reg-keys, but it´s called like "midnightwakeup" or so...
The rest is as you explained...
