Hello everyone i have got a little trick to play gba games on our htc touch viva which has a low processor....
Gba game lovers might have tried many many emulator for windows mobile to play but i know none of them properly emulate if they do also then also the game will lag really too much, i have myself experienced.
But no more lags you can play gba games on viva without any lag i myself tested.....
Now how to do that? Simple see here.
If you found that trick useful (That is smoother than ever gameplay) plz leave a comment/question anything you wish there in techz.in or here.
but with no sound? right?

Yes obviously with no sound as its running on android and android for opal still doesn't have sound hopefully musikmonk and other developers would bring it in next version. Just try that thing iam confident that you will see a major improvement definitely. And then post here how was you exp (you can post on that site also).
duh i just overclock and kill backgroung process which are useless then just play...it works for me ....btw i overclock to 276...so is the method u posted superior

The weird thing is that on Android, we're actually underclocking the cpu on Android and the game speed is still better than game speed on wm6.x with overclocking.

There's a free version called Gameboid Lite. It's missing game state saving. But normal game saving works fine.
Yes muskimonk even if you have underclocked android still gba games run much smoother i have wrote the reason on techz.in --- Simply android uses the hardware efficiently than wm, oh yes i forgot there is gameboid lite version..
Hi,
What the best software for overclock my HD?
regards
this is a dumb idea. srsly, dont do it!
i bought HD today and its a little slow
I think overclock to 600Mhz its ok.
I read about this CPU and can reach to 768Mhz
If you want to run software or sense 2.5 faster. What I did is changed the pagepool size to 32MB
Most of the cooked rom is using 20MB pagepool. I have a few problem with it.

Agreed. The cons definitely outweigh the pros. Just not worth it.
Just use a few tweak programs like advanced config or HD Tweak to change basic parameters safely.
overclock == more heat the device could take damage
+ higher power usage so your batt time will be a lot shorter

A 528 Mhz processor cannot reach 768mhz, technically. I mean anything is possible but it would not be stable at all and would probably screw up your processor. Htc has it set as high as it will go while being stable and safe to use.
Look at this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=656572
My THD works stable at 709MHz Above this frequency, Android doesn't boot.

I keep my clock speed at 528 MHZ, the phone flies, but it eats up extra battery. Well worth it in my opinion.

I haven't tried the 614 method yet, but 528 is fast enough, I don't see a reason to go higher yet.

In my experience, I've never had serious slowdown on Eclair ROMs, even without overclocking.

Hmm Should i use partition, and if i do which ones? ext 3 or 4...i dont know much about partitions
i've been running at 614 for a month now, with no random reboots, and i do notice a smoother quicker response on everything
anything higher and i get random reboots, 633, 652 once in a while
692, pretty much a given

Try to rephrase your question, as it doesn't make much sense (at least to me)

I think you mean how much RAM is needed for optimal browsing.
All devices with >= 1GB RAM are enough to browse the internet great. The bottleneck in tablet is the computing power, when you download a web page it need to get rendered and is this the GPU's job. If your device hasn't a good CPU and GPU you'll experience a slow browsing!

I think chainfire is only compatible with froyo and gingerbread if I recall correctly. have you ever considered trying the new F2FS filesystem development for the N7?

Yes I actually just flashed over to F2FS the other day I'm liking it and it doesn't seem smoother, but I haven't gotten to test it with any games, I am downloading asphalt 8 right now though Although I did run antutu and the graphics didn't seem to improve
