SAPPHIRE PVT 32B SHIP S-ON G
HBOOT-1.33.0004 (SAPP10000)
CPLD-10
RADIO-2.22.19.26I
Apr 9 2009,23:30:40
Baseband: 62.50S.20.17U_2.22.19.26I
I have flashed my phone with AOSP Donut sapphire 32B by luo 0.6
All was ok but after one reboot, I can't use my sdcard, like if I don't have one inserted.
Many try after, I finished by do a "wipe". sh***
now, when I want to apply update with the fastboot boot recovery, I click on 'apply update.zip", and I have this:
E:can't mount /dev/block/mcblk0p1 (or /dev/block/mmcblk0)
(no such file or directory)
E:can't mount SDCARD:update.zip
Installation aborded.
tried many recovery.img (1.2.1, 1.3.2g, 1.5.0g)
tried to partition sdcard with recovery 1.5.0g, succes, but same error.
I don't have media card reader, so I can't see if my sdcard is ok.
now when I launch my phone, it stays on the operator picture.
what should I do please??!

I also have same problem。。。。

you need to reformat it on the computer (format it to FAT32) and if that still doesnt work, then you have a dead sd card and need to get a new one.

I don't have sdhc card reader on my computer, I just want to know if there is a way, a software or another to format sdcard with the phone.

Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1

Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1
I've managed to get into a right pickle with my Dream 32B
Now when I try and update from SD it gives me an error message saying
"E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 (or /dev/block/mmcblk0) (No such file or directory) E: Can't mount SDCARD:"
I can still fastboot to a recovery rom and use adb but I cannot flash any roms to get the phone up and running.
I have tried 2 different SD cards and reformatted them both. Both of them worked fine before yesterday.
I have tried "adb shell mount /sdcard" and this gives the same error
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
can someone help me or no
I got this exact same message. After a few days of troubleshooting, I concluded it was a broken SD card slot. Sent it in for repair to HTC, and it was fixed.
got the same problem when i was rooting my phone...
to cut it short it's 95% SD card format error, you need to reformat your SD card from recovery mode as in Amon-ra 1.7 or something...
that actually solved my problem

Going to send it to HTC.

Clockmodwork can't mount my /sdcard :-(

Hi there, im from Spain and my Rom is BUJP7 (Vodafone Spain Froyo, Official) so my Recovery is 3E and I couldn't apply the Clockmodwork update.zip
The ROM is rooted (Z4Mod) and there is no lagfix applied.
I didnt want to flash a full kernel in order to get 2e Recovery so I followed this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=813475
And now i have the 2e Recovery working.
I've applied the update.zip and I get in Clockmodwork Recovery...but I can't use Nandroid because the sdcard can not be mount:
E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0 (or /dev/block/mmcblk0p1) (Device or resource busy) E:Can't mount /sdcard
I can access to the Sdcard from the phone, write and read, but Clockmodwork can not.
I've tried to format the SdCard and download the latest zip from clockmodwork, and I get the same error.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
EDIT: Solved by installing Rom Manager instead of manually applying update.zip from 2e recovery.
pls help need slove

1/ Nothing wrong, it's just a warning!!!! Just clic next.
This just means that in the build you try to flash the dev doesn't put a readme to be displayed.
2/ if you use the latest CWM you have to use "AD Recovery".
The only thing which is wrong is that you read the explanations a little bit to fast. Read carefully the warning or explanations before asking.
Anyway, hope I have helped
thanks for reply. i had successfully installed the magldr v1.13 but when i load into AD Recovery, it said "no boot sources". i think i messed up everything. because i had format the phone using Task29. Before that it works fine everything for me to load android using v1.13 with zip files. after i format it i seem like system messed up already. i need help. About the nand build i installed, not all the android successfully load. what happen to my phone?
Ok, you have installed MAGLDR.
So now you have to install CWM (download it, go in MAGLDR, choose USB Flash and launch DFT to install CWM).
@truc007
he just need to follow the link on the top for RaiderX303 post.
Its all there, easy step by step procedure. He done a great job with it and the procedure so its no point to write it all over somewhere.
@chuaws
m8, just look into that link from my first post, thats definitely help u. There is no way u will not do it. Just follow it step by step.

@rikardo1979 : you're right, didn't pay attention to your link.
If he asked the question again 12h after you gave the solution... it could make us think that our answers are useless... I better go to bed now.

the answer to your question is that you have install a recovery file"400mb",that is corrupt or something like that! When you install madgr, try to install again a 250 mb recovery file, not 400 mb,and you problem will disappear!Sorry for my english and this is 100% guaranteed !byee
it took me about 4 hours of hard work to get the sollution)!I thought that I've broke my phone

App2SD problem

Hi all,
I'm using cm_legend_full-37 ROM. Main reason why i root my phone in small internal memory in phone after 20-30 app installed. I having a problem with setting up external partitions. I have make external partitions in recovery mode, but my CM7 doesn't recognize the external partition.
Can I use app2sd with S-ON, or is it a problem in S-ON? I can't put my phone in S-OFF with HBOOT 1.01 or is a possible with downgrade solution to HBOOT 0.43?
Phone:
LEGEND PVT SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-1.01.0000
MICROP-0816
TOUCH PANEL-SYN07_0103
RADIO-7.05.35.26L
When i try to use pass LINK2SD i get next error msg:
"Mount script cannot be created.
:cannot create /system/etc/install-recovery.sh
not enough memory"
Is it a problem in wrong partitions making procedure?
Thank you for you're support !
Hi,
1. Why don't you use the App2SD method implemented in the ROM? (in settings->applications, click an app and click "move to sdcard")
2. You got the error ".. out of memory" because system is RO in S-OFF.
It's not possible to downgrade HBOOT 1+, but you can mount system as RW in recovery mode using adb commands (adb remount, adb shell, adb su and then you're free to go)

Stuck in DFT MAGLDR and ClockworkMod Recovery, searched with no solution
I got the stock WM6.5 Tmous with radio 2.15.50.14 used HSPL4
I've done the MAGLDR stuff with no problem. (I was shocked after flashing MAGLDR as I can't boot into my WM6.5, then I realized MAGLDR is for Nand-droid only)
Then I went to the next step, individually install/flash the ClockworkMod and now here's the problem. I followed 100% of this step by step guide and thinking that it would be less risky as it's already "step by step"ed for people. I chose the method 1 for Installing ClockworkMod Recovery. After I finished steps 15., it automatically rebooted instead of letting me choose to reboot. And all the steps later on are not available in my situation as my phone rebooted to ClockworkMod Recovery. I can't turn off my phone or boot to MAGLDR, it reboot to ClockworkMod Recovery every time I power it up. I try to install an Android from SD card but I found the log saying:

Please tell me what can I do! It would be much appreciated!

Thanks for replying, where can I locate the flash.cfg?
To the best of my knowledge, I think I missed that step and I don't even have a ROM installed in the phone yet.
Thanks in advance.
depends how you flashed clockwork,,,,, if you used teh nand tookit, then that is all taken care of for you, , if you sued the daf.exe version, then look in the folder where daf.exe is and there will be a file called flash.cfg (DONT confuse it with the file also there called flash.cfg.txt).
the process made simple...
instal the nand toolkit
into bootloader
connect usb
flash magldr (youve probably already done this)
restart
into magldr menu,
USB flasher
run the nand toolkit
choose the size system partition you require (it will be stated in eth first post of whatever rom you want to install, , lets say 160mb for example) by clicking 160 in the numbers down the left,
below that is a box called cache, it probably says 45, you can set that to 5 if you want, or leave at 45, or whatever you like, it doesnt matter
click repartition
into teh magldr menu
8 - ad recovery -- this starts clockwork
(assuming the .zip file for teh rom you want is already on teh sd card)
in clockwork choose 'instal zip from sd - choose zip'
select teh .zip file you already put on the card, and thats it, done.
i'm gonna try, it won't brick the phone, right?

Hello mate, I seem to recall something on some instructions I had saying Android will only work with an HSPL 2.08 or lower. I may be wrong as it's been about 6 months since I started and I continue to use it as I use the HD2 toolkit (I must say it's helped me MANY times) which I would highly recommend to anybody! If you want send me a PM and I'll hunt out the instructions I had and send you them as that with the Toolkit have never failed me yet

you get this when you run cwm from the sd card, , its basically saying there is no cache partition set up (or it cant find one) its not usually a problem. I flashes yesterday using sd cwm, received this same list of errors, and teh flash went ahead fine.

MAGLDR only works with HSPL 2.08
cLK will work with any HSPL I think (at the very least it works with HSPL 3.03), but there's a common misconception that it only works with HSPL 2.08 because in mskip's guide (see the link in my sig) it's stated in big, bold red lettering that you need HSPL 2.08, and many don't realise that that only applies to MAGLDR. Hope this clears things up for you
