Hi!
I've tried to install new ROM with win 6.5 few days ago. So I've update my radio rom at the same time with the version 1.59.46.12.
No problem with the installation, everything seems to work fine...
But since, I've got trouble with my 3G connection... If I stay in EDGE everything work fine, it connect to internet etc.
But as soon as I have an HSDPA connection, I lost network connection and I never get it again... I have to turn manually in GSM mode only to get a signal again...
I've tried radio 1.65.30.09 but it's the same thing and I've downgraded to the win 6.1 3Lit3 VIII and I've got the same
I don't know what to do... I've got the right radio version for the ROMs I've tried so I think it'll be stupid to try a 1.58xx or 1.64xx but I have no other idea :/ Maybe I'll tried this tonight but with no much hope...
I'll tried again with an other ROM too, but if you have an other idea, I'll take it...

Install your original rom and try again. Downgrade your radio first to 1.59.xx.

Same problem...
I've tried to reinstall the official HTC ROM... It's the same...
I don't know what to do... That sucks (a lot)

This is strange ..maybe your gsm provider has the problem..It happens some times.
Hum, yes but I've tried in different places and I have the problem for few days now It's a long time for a provider problem I think.
May the flash of the radio break something? Like the 3G receiver in the phone? :/ I don't know, I have no much knowledge in this domain...
Or maybe it's the sim card? I will try to find an other sim today to try with it...

I've tried with an other SIM card and I have the same problem...
Reinstalling the official ROM and associated radio of my provider (orange) doesn't change anything...
I think my device is really broken

"mobo problem" = hardware problem on my phone? :/
I hope I'll found my guaranty papers...
I had exactly the same problem.
I'm sorry to say this, but the only way to fix it is by replacing the motherboard.
Don' t spend any more time flashing roms or radios, it's useless.
You should find those guaranty papers as soon as possible.
They replaced mine with no cost.
Remember to remove hard-spl and then
flash original rom before visitng service point !!

I'd like to add, the Polaris has a very weak gsm antenna. I've done a test, with all possible radios on my polaris i get max 3 bars and a GPRS icon. While on the exact same spot, when starting up my nokia 5800 XM gets full bars and 3.75G.

Since I bought my Hero a couple of months ago, everything worked fine.
Suddendly, since a few days ago, it cannot detect any wifi network anymore.
When launched, Wifi buddy remain stuck on Scanning...
I have never rooted my Hero. Today I tried upding the Radio Rom to the latest version but it didn't change anything. Wifi networks remain undetected (although there are many available around me that my laptop can detect).
Any idea of what's going on?

Hi, first sorry for the bump, due to i didnt want to start a new thread about this.
I've got a similar problem, i cant find my network at home when searching, it worked flawlessly before i updated to the latest radio. The scanner still finds networks i havent been connected to before, though it wont connect to any of them.
I've wiped everything many many times, trying different rom's and an earlier radio but still same result over and over.
Im running CronosDroid 1.5 and the 63.18.55.06JU_6.35.09.26 Radio at the moment.
Do anyone here have a suggestion of what i should do now?

Any ppp android build dont connect to data.
Every time shows connection error in settings.
Plz help, im even able to pay for someone to make it work on my mobile.
Im currently with newest ozorom, and i would like to work on latest [BUILD][04.12.10]-=MDJ FroYo HD v.4.3=-[kernel:MDJ S7.5HD]
im in 3UK network.
EDIT: that means no version works with data connection for me, than very old ones.

Check my signature and click on my thumbnail.
I downloaded and installed the software on my HD2 but when the phone reboots it goes back to windows, how can I fix that problem plus my Wifi and MMS not working. Please need help thanks.
Your HD2 will aways reboot back into Windows as that 's what in the Rom. Android is being run off of your D card. You can download JMZ dual boot loader which will give you the option of starting windows or andriod
There are other boot loaders but this works for me

Currently Running Android 2.2 Baseband version 15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14
kernel version 2.6. I did get the MMS to work now I need the Wifi. WIfi comes on but keeps saying unable to scan.
I just tried ROM:
[23.JAN.12] [cLK][MAGLDR] Android 2.3.3 Sense 2.1 NAND (Desire HD 2.50.405.2)
and i cannot run wifi hotspot functionality.When hotspot is started it reboots phone (soft restart), after that hotspot cannot be started (error) until hardware retart is done.

I tried with wireless thether versions 2.0.6 and 2.0.7, no luck.
with 2.06 lapotp connects but cannot get internet acces (limited conectivity).
any advices ?
I started this thred only because 10 post rule, normally i would post into ROM's thread
any help would be appreciated.
btw. ROM looks and feels very very nice - expect problem described.

I cannot get Wifi to work, I can see networks but cannot connect: message cannot connect to network.
Mine laptop connects without an issue
Can anyone share any light on the matter, as i cannot post any question to developers thread.
