rw6815 battery life? - iPAQ rw6828, XDA Atom General

I purchased second hand rw6815 with 2 Li-Poly. batteries.
With optimal using of device my battery lasts no more than 20hrs.
For example i fully recharge it in 20 p.m., about 23 p.m. i turn on flight mode,
and battery is bellow 15% in 16 p.m with attention to recharge it again.
I have SPB Mobile Shell 3.5 installed.
Please tell me about your experiance using this phone and is it clever to buy another (new) battery
I have original Windows Mobile 5.0 ROM (from HP's site)

Battery life

My XDA II is fully charged, screen is on minimum brightness, no beam receive, BT off, sound is around 1/3, phone off. According to SPB Pocket plus, I have only 3 hrs 50 mins left in the battery. Is this normal ?
What kind of battery life are you guys getting on average for just using it as a PDA ?
I doubt that Pocket Plus is measuring anything meaningful. I find that a couple of days of PDA use, including some light bluethooth, GPRS and SMS data trafic and I've still got more than 60% power remaining.
I don´t have any battery meter.
I have had my qtek with phone on + BT on during 10 hours . Make calls for 30 min. Use pda 45 min. + 14 hours phone on BT off pda off.
The remaning battery after this was 13% battery left. I ´m glad with the battery live. It seem been a software problem with your software.
Helio
The display of the battery life in SPB Pocket Plus is the phone talk time (nearly 190 mn for 100%), and it changes with time statistically according to the use you make of your XDA
awww nuts. So does the XDA not support a reading based on real charge, as in voltage?
But yes, the battery bar is based on the voltage, like all PDAs, when you read it in percentage. Only when you choose the display in minutes, this is calculated on the basis of how do you use the XDA
I have both SPB GPRS Monitor and SPB Pocket Plus installed, the GPRS battery monitor estimated over 4 hours of battery life left, the Pocket Plus battery monitor estimaged just over 2 hours.... I guess they have a bug in Pocket Plus.

mda battery

on my mda vario in the battery is says
main battery: 29%
backup battery: 100%
wat the backup batter, because the main was on 100% and noe 29 it only last like 9hrs and i throught it was 150hrs battery life??
I thought the specs were 3.5 hours talk time, 8 hours as a pda and 150 hours on standby.
As for a backup battery, I don't think it actually has one (it's a WM2003 throw back).

Post your battery life peeps!

Hi All
I have struggled to find out what the average battery life is for everyone with a Touch Diamond 2/Topaz. I think it would be awesome if everyone posted what their average battery life is and include your ROM, Radio, battery size/type, average standby, call time and device usage so we can all cry with jealousy for people that get 3 days!!!!
My phone:
HTC Touch Diamond 2
1350mAH Li-ion "Hero" battery CS-HDE190SL
Rom: 2.17.421.1 (68613) WWE
Radio: 4.49.25.91
Protocal: 61.44etc.25.35U
Avg. Standby = 1 day
Calls = 30 minutes
device usage = 45 minutes
3G off, Wifi off, bluetooth off, Push email/internet off
Details in siggy, my life is pretty bad, 2 working days at most. When the battery is low its slow and sluggish as well.

1. Discharge the device. Absolutely.
2. Take out battery to 40-60 sec.
3. Put the battery to the place. Don't switch on the device!
4. Charge the device by normal way (not by usb!) to the full state (green LED).
5. Take out battery again for 40-60 sec.
6. Put the battery to the place.
7. Switch on the device.
That's all.
Battery Calb.
Taken from Nataly Rom thread:

Did it make any difference???
I am also on T-Mobile UK and have short battery life.
I have tried many different ROMs and Radios combinations but none seem to increase the battery life.
Are you in a good or weak signal area?? I've read that can affect battery life too.
What ROM/Radio are you using?
I cailbrated on an HTC Pure battery and it made no appreciable difference I still use it alot and the battery runs out pretty quickly. If I charge to 100% and go to sleep with Klaxon I'm at 97% uncalibrated and calibrated and after one episode of Big Bang Theory I am from 100% to 81% uncalibrated and calibrated so it did nothing.
Mine is also 1 day of use..
i'll try the calibration tonight and see if it'll change...
My battery life totally bad. I'm not sure if it's because my heavy usage using Opera/BOLT browser??
From fully charged 100%, it only takes 1 hour to go down to 30% simply by browsing the net in HSDPA/3G connection
ENERGY ROM
Bluetooth = off
wifi = off
email, every 1 hour
twitter = 20 mins
facebook = can't remember how long
But I don't think email/twitter matters too much because they only check email/update status for a couple of seconds.
Can someone tell me if my battery has gone bad? or it's normal to consume 70% in 1 hour?
Touch Diamond 2 - HTC 6.5 Rom
Email - Every 1 hour
WIFI - ON (battery saving mode)
Bluetooth - 2 hours each day (commute to work)
Usage - 4 hours each day with screen at half brightness.
Standard battery (1100mAh) 1.5 days of use
Extended battery (2600mAh) 4 days of use

HTC Touch sucks battery too fast

Dear participants,
I've got a question concerning my O2 branded HTC Touch (an Elfin, I guess, because of 128/256 RAM/ROM). I took it with me on a camping holiday to Italy 2 months ago and charged the battery with its standard ac-adapter. The latter was connected via a power strip. After I had charged it, I noticed that the battery went dead fast; it only lasted for about 18h in standby. The phone of my girlfriend (a Nokia 30something) had been charged via the same power strip and the battery wouldn't work at all afterwards.
So my first guess was that somehow the power strip was broken and as a consequence probably charged the battery "wrongly". Back at home I replaced both batteries with new ones. Since that point, the Nokia works perfectly again, but my Touch still only works for 18h even though there is new (original) battery in it.
Any suggestions? There is no mod whatsoever installed and it is the basic WM6.1 system that I am using.
Thanks in advance!!!

Thread moved to Elf section.
Thank you!
I've always confused the two and did not know about the Legacy Devices subfolder.
One piece of information I should add is that my second idea was that my ac addapter was broken so I charged the phone via usb with my computer which, as you might guess, did not effect any difference.
Any ideas? Thank you!
I've downloaded the acb Battery Tester and found out that power usage is about 300 mAh. This seems to be to high when being to what other users have posted (around 170 mAh).
After a soft reset (after haveing installed acb again), the power consumption fell to 225 mAh which is better than what I had before but does not seem to be normal anyways.
I too have the same problem.Even my reading in acb battery monitor are an average of 225 mAh.Does anybody have a solution?
PS:Im using spb shell.

What is it without SPB shell?
i guess spb shell + overclocking was the problem.
Is that because you have disabled that and it is now running at normal? It would be nice to know so that it can help other people in your situation.
Hey you two,
MY touch does not have any extra software or verclocking going on, so I figure that it is defective because of the power cord. Do you think that is possible? Should not the power adapter filter currents that are too high for the mobile?
Cheers...
Battery is a lot better without overclocking and spb mobile shell.
I use OmapclockKeep and I set the following clock modes...
Idle = 50
On = 200
I use dsixda Onyx 6R13... this is a good and fast rom...
Battery life 3 days...

samsung grand prime G530 0% battery

my mobile is 6 years old (2014) and has been working well, the battery lasted around 2 days idle and 1 day using considerable ammount of whatsapp and camera until yesterday 2020-05-02
i went to sleep and now 8 hours later the phone was turned off, i tried turning on when it booted to the system it was on 0% battery and turned off right after
i put it to charge (still the original 1ma charger and usb cable), and it charged at least faster then usual (from 0 to 100 in more or less 1 hour , should take at least 2:30 hours)
using androind stock rom 4.4.4
is there anything i can do to fix this, or is it a sign the phone is dying?
thanks

have you tried to "calibrate it"? maybe it will help you with this problem. I do not say that it will be 100% good, but it should improve this bad behavior.
