I'm new on this forum and from recently I'm the owner of Trinity. I've got the queston for you- perhaps someone has already had such a problem of dissapearing icons from Today screen. The problem is: I've played with some ROMs and by this I've launched my official WM 5.0 ROM from HTC site for a few times. Everytime I've launched this official ROM on Today screen I've got:
date, owner information, "no unread messanges" and "no upcoming appointments". But once, while launching the same official ROM 2 additional icons have appeared: the first one with small padlock enabling to screen-loch and the second one from MSN-messenger with information" tab here to create new account" or somrthing like that. After that I've tried to launch the same ROM once again for a few times but such a situation has never happened again.
Has anybody have idea?

A New Official ROM has been released????
Upgrade available on Europe site but does not yet appear on HTC Australia website. None of these fixes/upgrades look very useful, apart from maybe "Enhanced Opera’s browsing performance while running other applications" but I never had any problems with Opera anyway...
Is it possible they may include other fixes not listed on their site (such as the memory leak problem?) - here's hoping!!

I installed it, but it has become extremely slow.
I do have to add that my phone just had the Hard-SPL stuff and the other update on it which or both unofficial.
I am currently doing a hard reset and hoping for the best.
I have no idea if it is because of the other updates. My guess would be not, because the rom is overwritten.
I installed the ROM upgrade from HTC, it ****ed up my device real bad: phone module not working, device boot up in aprox 1 min, after 3 mins Touch Flo not started, it restarts by itself.
I did hard reset and nothing happens.
I,m reinstalling jademan superrom!

I reverted back to the original Dutch Rom dump.
Which is the thing that works for me.
The phone boots up normally, but starts to get slow at the moment when it is installing itself. I am going to mail HTC about it.
I might try to install it with the original rom I have now. But I believe that it isn't an update, but a new installation anyways. Which means that it doesn't matter what you had before it.
HTC Touch 3G ROM Upgrade (EU)
Hello people,
I downloaded the official european rom upgrade from HTC Europe just an hour ago, but I'm not able to flash. When I start the procedure, active sync just quits and the flash procedure also quits with an error message after a couple of seconds. So how can I make active sync not to quit? Did I miss something?

Rom Upgrade successfull
I just did the rom update and yes after installation my unit was very slow...
A few reboots later (after the network wizard has run) the unit was still slow.
I verified the network connections settings (did not change anything!) and strangely after that my unit was'nt slow anymore but as fast as before the upgrade.
For the moment I'm staying with this new official rom...

just did the upgrading, everything seems fine, except can't use M2DC anymore (cause touch flo stop working), have to find a new way to remove "starhub" craps
I got it and my phone is much better. It seems to work faster and the radio signal is best.
Did you see that the upgrade is only for a few languages? Maybe you should do the upgrade after insert the serial number and see if the new ROM is good for your phone.

After the update, M2DC crashed on me... BUT i realised if it was disconnected from the PC, it works perfectly fine.
However, i faced 2 other problems...
1) Date is no longer displayed on the main screen
2) No more footprints
Do you all face the same problems? or is it just me ?
Footprints is not a feature of Jade but from Iolite.
However, you can install Footprints, but the tab in TF2D is not available:

The only '"problem" i notice is activesync is always on. Even if you off it, it will come back on

that was the same with the original ROM, I have not upgraded and my activesync always comes back even if I close it.
the activesync is on more frequent with the new rom
i notice its on only when i use my gps
after upgrade its constantly on
but the plus point is the gps really react a lot faster now
so what can we do ...
With my serial number, I got this:

But I don't want the StarHub things because I'm not from Singapore and I need a normal Asia rom so I borrowed my sister's serial number and got this:
RUU_Jade_hTC_Asia_WWE_2.32.707.2_Radio_Sign_12.41.30.16_0.41.30.12_Ship.exe
Who needs the 2 above roms, let me know.
For the Asia rom, it works fine for me so far, the active sync problem can be resolve by adding server source and change the settings to manually. But funny thing was, I cannot remove the server, once I remove it will come back again everytime so I just leave it there and active sync won't on anymore until I use it.
Does the second asia rom upgrade without the starhub logo when you finished? Please share. I hate the logo after my upgrade with the first one.

Hello. I've looked everywhere for this but couldn't find a solution. Currently I can only update my e-mail tab on touchflo via wi-fi. I was wondering if anyone knew a fix for enabling it to update via the data connection (3G/HSDPA). I'm running a 6.5.5 ROM, and I don't know if I recall correctly but I think that with the stock ROM I used to be able to do this. Maybe it's a registry that needs to be modified or maybe there's a cab that someone knows about. Any help will be appreciated
my guess is your rom messed up your settings........go to start-settings-connections-connections-advanced tab-select network-change bouth of those to your curent connections provider (orrange internet is mine)
Hi - I've tried updating my rom from the original to the latest but every time I try I get a message saying that the update is not an HTC version. It asks if I want to update & when I answer yes my active sync crashes. Any help? Thanks
first up hello everyone... now im having a problem with sense weather not updating, im currently on Rafdroid hd 4.0.2, and everithing worked fine for about 2 weeks then weather stopped updating, and also noticed it does not appear on the sync list. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
PS.
I get this message when trying to update ( The connection dropped while your weather information was downloading. try downloading again? ).
