Weather update problem with official HTC 6.5 update

Hello,
I have connection error message on weather update with the location place I added. The update is working well for "my location" place. And it is well displayed on the today page.
I have no problem when updating stocks, so it is not a connection problem but maybe a weather configuration that is not correct.
Do you know a fix ? or something I could check ?

Mine was doing the same thing, weather update error via EDGE after being serviced and flashed to 6.5. Turned out all it needed was a reboot...

Can't install Facebook v1.2/PLEASE HELP!

Hi all,
i tried to install the new FB 1.2 several times.
I have tried to uninstall the old facebook v1.007 first and to install the newer v1.2 . But every time after the installing the new version...the version info states still v.1.007.
I also tried to install the new version over the old version.
Same problem...it remains always version 1.007.
(Oh...I also deleted all facebook relevant reg keys)
I have read several pages here but i didn't find an answer yet.
Could someone please help me?

Is the old facebook included in a rom you have flashed?

I do not use another rom as the delivered one.
Rom is still the original one!
As far as I know Facebook is not contained in the delivered package.
Any suggestions?

I know it sounds daft but when you install the new Microsoft Facebook v1.2, for some unknown reason, when you look in the "about" section, the version is displayed as v1.0.0.17.
Are you sure this is not what yours is saying and not v1.0.0.7 ?
Beyond that I have no idea, but thought it was worth checking as there seems to be a version mismatch error anyway in this latest version!

[Q] How to see logs ?

Hi There,
i have HTC HERO G2 by T-Mobile Uk , i have unlocked it and using it since last 1 year , now one day i have got a message that system needs to be updated so i have said yes and i restarted my device and started installing new updates however it then stopped showing me error icon but no message and it was doing nothing so i have to switch it off and then switch on it restarted and didnt get any updates i want to know if there is a way to get the logs ? also i have ROM version 1.5 and if i want to upgrade to 2.1 is it that i have to be root ?.
i am not able to get updates from T-MOBILE site as getting message the upgrade is not for this device.
Please help

Check the HTC website. You cannot upgrade directly from 1.5 to 2.1 using ota as far as I know. So update to the latest ROM available for your carrier from the HTC website and following that you should be able to get the ota update properly.

need some help trying to force updates

i have a samsung focus 7720 (mango) att carrier, Ive found the 7740 update and the other one 8107? i think ive been trying to use a cab sender to update however it always says wrong updater(zune) i have the latest version that zune put out that what i got the mango update on however the only cab sender that ive found always gives wrong version (zune) handler. I have tried installing older zune versions however now they will not run just says update is availible any questions or help greatly appreciated.
