Hello. I've looked everywhere for this but couldn't find a solution. Currently I can only update my e-mail tab on touchflo via wi-fi. I was wondering if anyone knew a fix for enabling it to update via the data connection (3G/HSDPA). I'm running a 6.5.5 ROM, and I don't know if I recall correctly but I think that with the stock ROM I used to be able to do this. Maybe it's a registry that needs to be modified or maybe there's a cab that someone knows about. Any help will be appreciated
my guess is your rom messed up your settings........go to start-settings-connections-connections-advanced tab-select network-change bouth of those to your curent connections provider (orrange internet is mine)

I realize this is probably going to be a simple fix. But after upgrading my ROM to the iphone 3.6 version (im running on a G3) some of the programs will not run. I get the not digitally signed message. I have tried to use regedit to make the change in some of the posts but even it wont run (same error). Just want to get rid of this security feature and be able to run what i want...... Any help is appreciated?
I get the same messages for all not standard programs (such as battery monitor and others) so that I would also appreciate if anybody could help us with this problem.

I have personal testing this code on my xv6800 with stock ROM, then I
upgraded to the MR1 ROM from HTC for the xv6800 with WM 6.1 and
install the GPSServer.cab and it works perfect for both ROMs without
doing any unlocking or running anything else other then just the GPSServer.cab
BTW for anyone with the stock ROM running WM 6.0 and would like to
upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.1 .. you can download the MR1 ROM direly
from HTC

can't get it to work..
Hi all! I followed this method a while back and had Google maps working great for quite some time! This past weekend I tried to use it with GPS and it couldn't find any satellites. I figured it was maybe too much cloud cover or other interference related to my location. Anyhow, yesterday I updated my XV6800 to MR2, installed the latest Google maps (3.0.0.12) and still cannot get it to find any satellites. after playing with the COM ports and location setting (currently COM4 and Loc ON) without success I installed GPS Toggle, which also cannot find any satellites.
Anyone have any suggestions to get this working again? Does this even work with MR2? I'd be happy to go back to MR1, though MR2 seems to be a little smoother and faster.

BTW, I was looking around my device and I found a different version of gpsapi.dll (hidden) in the Windows directory. I'm thinking this may be the problem. It won't let me modify it though, as it's a system file. I can view it using SKTools, but not modify it.
Can you recommend a file manager program that'll let me move / copy / replace system files?

You can't modify a rom file or one that is created by the rom itself. Or at least I don't know how

I'm pretty new here and new to the XV6800. I have a rom version that I downloaded from htc site that under device info reads 3.57.605.1 I don't know what MR1 or MR2 is or is mine an MR3?? Also I have a Radio version of 3.37.75?? My question is can I install this to get GPS or AGPS working on my device? Do I have to install a different radio to get it working?

Read the thread for a while that drewcam8888 lists above "adapter program to ......" and then make sure you change the registry settings as it describes for Valhalla in the posts from the past couple of days. I believe I posted #627 which has the places to edit for Valhalla. Listen to what others say to make sure you have everything right.
mine failed around the same time but using a different set of cab files which had worked flawlessly on both previous installs of MR1 . Is this perhaps something from verizon?....Anyway having not installed from a wrar file before how do you install the valhalla cab when the redirects disconnect from the server?
I have a xv6800 and i got it last week, the person that i got it from updated the rom. a couple days ago i cleared the storage, which i guess is a hard reset, but i wanted to know if that resets my Rom

resets to a fresh install of your current rom. It removes all none rom files.

I am currently looking for a soultion HELP NEEDED.
After compelteing the new ROM update I have been unable to connect to our exchnage server.
The DOMAIN credentials have been GREYED OUT / DIABLED!
Has anyone else got this problem?
I had issues with this ROM version. Got my phone fixed then settings seemed to be different, think HTC upgraded my ROM.
Found this thread that fixed it for me, something do do with dedicated connection rather than going out through the internet for the exchange server.

I would be grateful for any advice on how this problem could be solved.
I have an Omnia II running winmo 6.5 Pro with the following ROM versions:
PDA: I8000NXXJA5
CSC: I8000XS0JA2
Phone: I8000DXJA1
When I connect through 3G or GPRS to my provider only the email application can retrieve data using the connection. Other applications like the browser (Opera 10) or Spb Traveller, Spb Weather or Google Maps are not able to retrieve data through this connection.
This problem does not happen however when I connect through wifi. With wifi all programs can retrieve data.
Please help by letting me know what you think the problem might be.

I have a similar problem, but only Opera works, nothing else. And using wifi won't work. Any help would be really appreciated.
Edit: Solved, I just forget to set the clock after flashing. Silly me.

Sorry for the late respond, I didn't noticed your post. I don't recall which ROM I used, I will check and tell you shortly.
Edit: Here. PDA: B7610NXXIL2, CSC: B760NVGRIL1 and PHONE: B7610BUIK1. I only flashed the PDA part, but as you can see I have an Omnia Pro, not an Omnia II. For reference if you need it, I flashed using daskalo's Full ROM build 21907, it should be easy to find it, but it will be for Omnia Pro :/

I also flashed my Omnia II however my problem has not been solved yet. Although I used the newest rom version my problem continues.
Please let me know what you mean by setting the clock after flashing, which apparently solved your problem.

After flashing, my phone's clock/date was about 2 years before today, so certificates needed for some websites/services weren't valid. So after setting the clock correctly everything works ok. But I am pretty sure you already did this, so in meanwhile I will search around for a solution.
this used to happen to be all the time, if you only flashed PDA then go into the samsung settings and network settings click restore connection that should fix everything.

Hi everyone, i have pdaimatejam 7.10.8858.136 on my HD2 and i love it, i've had it installed a while now and always used wifi connection, yesterday my internet was down for a few hours so i decided to use data connection on my phone, it didn't work, i have done my research and this is known issue and requires 3G fix cab to repair problem. I have cab sender installed on my PC the problem is i cannot find a working link on the net or xda to get the 3G fix cab from, does anyone still have this file and will you share it with me or do you have a working link for it. Hi many thanks for your reply, I am considering updating the rom if all else fails, but, had hoped if any one still has the cab it would save me from having to go through all the microsoft sign up and setting up hassle. I don't actually use data connection very often as i am mostly housebound so just use the wifi. In your opinion is the 8862 rom the best one around at the moment.
