Strange, I bought my phone from them...arrived on time, i called them up a few times to get a price match...always answered did it without hesitation. Have you tried calling them? I was a bit unsure of using them...but the amount of positive reviews on google persuaded me...also if you dont mind me asking what was wrong with the phone?

yes i heve tried to call but they said stuff i knew from their web already.no particular thing about my return request.
and the fault was that the Volume Up button did not work at all.it was inoperative.

Hi,
Have ordered a few things from them and have been impressed by prices and accessibility of support. I used their chat offering today concerning my own order for an HD2 -- quite responsive and helpful - though that's not getting me my phone any faster. I get the distinct impression that they are underwater servicing the back load of HD2 orders they have with a recent shipment arrival from HTC.
I wouldn't write off their chat based service and know they're having problems keeping up at this time.

I wouldn't be particularly worried. On the plus side you sent it SD so therefore you are covered up to £500 in compensation for lost or damaged goods. What makes it complicated is the fact that it has been signed for, so I suppose you can't call it lost.
Don't worry though, all will be well.

yeap.i did everything that was in the instructions.
Have dealt with Handtec a while ago and was impressed. They are one of the few retailers that offer no-fuss international delivery.
Never had to RMA anything with them, but as long as you have received a delivery confirmation from the post office/Royal Mail/whomever, then as far as the courts are concerned, the device is their responsibility if it's lost/stolen/damaged/etc.
I'd just be a bit patient. They're probably flat-out fulfilling dispatch orders this week. They'll get around to your RMA soon. If they haven't acknowledged receipt by, say Wednesday, give 'em a call.
I'm in Australia and have bought both the HD1 and now the HD2 from Handtec. They've been excellent all round. Had to RMA the HD1, and they were fast and informative. So far, the HD2 experience has been very satisfying with them. I regularly recommend them to people.
great shop.
24h fedex shipment for my hd2 on release date.
thank you all for your replies.it helped a lot.this forum has always been great.
so i am going to wait and if no answer from them til thursday i will give them a call.
it's horrible.i have been waiting for HD2 so long and now i have to wait again.
thank you all again.
I am thinking about using them too. See a great deal on there. Seems like most people rate them pretty high. I have had a look around to see what people had to say about them and overall people say they are good.
Once I make the order I will post back to let people know how it went.

I have just spoken with T-mobile loyalty team, I was chasing up where my Leo is. The lady stated there had been some issues with the previous batch of handsets and that further testing was being done before releasing any more devices.
1 Am I being told the truth?
2 How long does this testing take?
3 If problems are found how quickly will T-mobile be able to flash a fixed ROM to all their stock?
4 Will I get my Leo before Christmas?
I would really like to believe that T-mobile are being honest and that very soon I will have my Leo hopefully with all the issues identified on this forum fully resolved.
Am I being naive?
Ordered mine online on Sunday the 29th Nov and recieved it on Thursday 3rd Dec.
I do have a mate that works in T-Mobile and said that as soon as the stock is coming in they are going out just as fast and having worked for a mobile phone company in the past the staff do get told a load of rubbish at times.
I phoned up t-mobile UK today to order one, to be told they were out of stock. A new batch is expected Friday.
I've spoken to o2 at least 8 times today and in one of the calls I was told that part of their problem was having to send all the stock they had, along with returned faulty devices, back to HTC for "repair"...what's that funny smell? is it lamb,fish,bear...no its bull!

This would cost HTC a fortune. I wonder if the repairs are to flash a new ROM ?1.48+ or actual hardware repairs eg. new camera module. Are existing users going to have their handsets recalled? If a handset is "repaired" will it be classed as new or refurbed?
Nah, I smell something too.
It is probably just another example of getting a different response from which ever droid/lovely customers service rep. you speak to. Best just to keep ringing up until you get the answers you want and then believe that person.

i got one online from tmobile bout a week ago and mines running 1.43 and i`v had no major issues with it at all. i`v had to soft reset once due to phone hanging, but believe me its had a good seeing to, i havent put the thing down!!. as for the camera, mines not too bad. got the slight pinkiness problem but nothing that cant be sorted with a few tweaks in the camera settings i`v read about. i think htc mis-judged the demand for them plus some dodgey batches thrown in the mix. good luck on getting one anyway jus keep pestering them!
Just got off the phone with Hayley at T-mobile.
They are expecting 2000 HD2s today and tomorrow. I have been told there are less than 2000 people on their waiting list for HD2 so fingers crossed, touch wood and rub the lucky rabbits foot and I will have my phone within the next 2 days.
Ive been waiting for 2 weeks for my upgrade phone. Every time same story, more expected Friday. And when "I" asked about rumours that there had been some probs with the phones, the lady went off to check with her manager and came back and said, nope, they had only heard wonderful comments about the phone.
Still i'd rather wait for htc to fix any issues if they are doing that right now.

That's interesting. I just got off the phone with Francis at Tmobile. She couldn't tell me anything, except that they'd had a consignment today. No numbers on stock or on how many are waiting for it. Nor how far down the list I was. She did agree that for some reason Tmobile had underestimated the demand for this phone.
I think it might have something to do with the iphone judging by what went on at Voda.
And I've been on the waiting list for 3 weeks and it should have been 4 but they cocked it up. I better get it before Christmas!

I am well and truly p*ssed off. (I hope I wont be edited by a Mod like I have been on the T-mob support forums)
Today I got to speak to Dennis who laughed at the mention of 2000 handsets arriving today. I was lied to yesterday.
No idea when more stock arriving.
No idea when I might receive mine.
No idea about customer service.
No customers if they keep this up.
200 handsets arrived today and after waiting for a month with Vodafone's mis-information, I switched to T-Mobile and bagged one of those 200. It seems the only way to get an HD2 is to show no loyalty and swiwtch providers
I guess I got lucky as I got through to a really helpful saleswoman.
Just buy an unlocked one and get it right away. I did and I'm in the US. Of course I had to have it and paid $875. But it was worth every penny. I use A&tt now but thinking of going to T mobile. BUt since its unlocked i can use it forever anywhere.
Hey guys

Hi! Mine doesn't ship until the 29th, but I'd also appreciate learning the differences between WinMo and Andriod.
I've really enjoyed the free apps and information this board has provided for my Touch Pro! Thank you.
when did you order yours that it is now on the way? I ordered mine on the 13th and am being told it will be to me by the 1st of June...

It's a canned response. I called Verizon about it - I ordered my phone on the 9th and it never came. lol
If you were to order it today you should see it shipped out by 6/4 according to the detailed specs of the phone. 6/1 if you just look at the Verizon line-up of phones.
It's all confusing. Verizon really should do a better job when launching a new phone!
lol very troo, but i'll get it when i get it i'm excited but i'm patient too, just wondered what it meant lol, cos seemed wierd
yeah- I'm definately NOT patient bc I'm stuck using my wife's old LG chocolate in the meantime bc I already sold my TP2 on eBay. Customer service told me it was no issue to overnight me one so I went ahead and sold mine. When I called asking where my phone was they apologized and said they meant to say it was backordered. Nice going VZW

I learned this the looooooong and hard way. I've spent literally hours on the phone with them and was supposed to receive 3 seperate calls from supervisors bc of how many times they screwed up yet they only called back once. They also told me it was $269 w/ a 1 yr contract, then processed the order and then texted me saying it was $369 w/ a Mail in Rebate. When I called back saying that's not what I was originally told- they told me in a condescending voice 'I can cancel the order if you would like and try to come to a resolve on your issue, but it will extend the wait time of shipping your phone'. What choice do I have but to suck it up bc I NEED this phone for work?? hahaha I just have to laugh at how much it sucks at this point
lol sucks, until i get a tracking number i'm not going to worry about it...
As the thread title says, anyone had it? I haven't yet but whoever has we can get a timeframe on how long it should take for us UK peeps
I'm in the same boat my friend. I must have checked my email every 10 mins since Friday. Other than the "we'll start delivering on Monday" email I've heard nothing.
Same here, keep on refreshing the inbox but no luck
Think if I don't have an email by lunch time I'll give them another call.
The Dixons page has changed.
It`s now showing
Delivery available - 12/04/2011

interesting - i'll keep an eye on this thread then to see when someone has a delivery email or a delivery

Hmm. Well that's tomorrow so if someone ordered from the website today thay might get it tomorrow. BUT does that also mean that they are shipping pre-orders today?
Probably
going on what PCW said the other day 'they are receiving the Xoom's in stock on saturday' and 'DHL that are delivering only work Mon-Fri' - if they get the stock on Sat, one would assume they can't pass it to DHL till Monday (today), and they'll faff around with it till tomorrow at least!
I'd assume PCW/Dixons/Currys being the same company will operate in the same fashion... although perhaps using different deliverys depending on the area
Very interesting, i ordered mine from pcworld, and they are still showing delivery available 9th april, which as we know is last weekend. interesting from dixons however. i just want my xoom already dammit lol
Surely all they need to do from the US version is stick a new plug in the box?

You would think so, but then you got the manuals which will probably have to be reworded and so on and so forth, plus things like volume would have to be readjusted as the volume laws are different in both countries, so thhings like that would have to be sortedbefore shipping, dam eu laws, wish i just ordered one from the usa, did that when i got my exus one, dam i miss that phone
didn't realise volume laws were different.
the manual - no one reads anyway? D) - who cares if it says 'color' or 'colour'
dammit, just had an email, but from o2 saying my home broadband bill was ready, grrrr, got my hopes up and everything. and yeah, its like that to protect our ears apparently. if i want to become deaf it shouldbe my own dam choice lol anyway back to topic, still no email

Yep, the eu put a restriction on how loud a device can be, which is rather annoying
edit: on dixons and curry's it is in stock, as for pc world, its not available which is a lil worrying, unless they are just updating their site

I have oderded my HTC One Silver from T-Mebile UK nearly 10 days ago but I haven't received it yet.
Today customer service told me this phone is out of stock because of software issue.
Shall I be concerned about these "SOFTWARE ISSUES"?
Did any one get their HTC Once from T-Mobile? How long did it take you to receive the phone?
Got mine 7 days 'late' but as two of those days were bank holidays and two were weekend days I can't complain.
Had mine for about 3 weeks I think, had it pre-ordered via upgrade since first week in March and got it before the Easter break
Weird! I ordered mine 7 days ago (Thursday) and they blatently lied and told me I would get it the next day. Upon not receiving anything I rang them and they admitted that they had no stock and I shouldn't have been told this however, I left the order in place.
Yesterday, whilst bored, I opened up an online chat on the T-Mobile site and an assistant who appeared to have little grasp of anything assured me that they had stock so I imediately rang them.
I was then told that I would have my device sent by the end of the week (tomorrow). I assumed that this was another lie as nobody else appears to have any stock and this morning I received the stock text saying that they hadn't forgotten me and that they would let me know straight away about any stock updates
About an hour later I received another text saying that I would receive the device tomorrow together with a ukmail.com tracking number
Make of that what you will. We'll see tomorrow and I'll keep you posted.

To get rid of Blinkfeed Ithink there are 2 options:
Install another launcher and make it is default (thanks godofwar424)
If you want to keep HTC's launcher/Sence5, Root your phone and un-install blinkfeed using tools like root-uninstaller or Titanium Backup etc
I have read some reviews on Amazon UK complaining about damage caused by the double dip hard case.

T-mobile? There's t-mobile services app where you can pay bills and check your horoscope (ffs)
There is also a load of other bloat from facebook, twitter, google etc, so if you want your phone
to be secure and spyware free you will eventually have to root and make your own ROM built from
secure apps and those which require no special permissions and lock down/encrypt everything else.
The handset is a class apart from the competition though.

Same situation here, just had a recent text saying they havent forgotten about me lol.
I did Tweet tmobile support and they said no date yet.
Fingers crossed for this week.
Got mine on Friday. Think it's down to all the hassle I gave them on a regular basis due to the delivery date lies that they gave me that they dug one up from somewhere. I have no T-Mobile bloatware on it at all but the cid is ORANG01 and it is running 1.28.61.7 which I guess is orange firmware but haven't clarified that yet.
After 3 days of use, there doesn't seem to be any issues with the device (In fact it's brilliant :laugh

Good to hear that you have received your handset.
I spoke to T-Mobile customer support today and I have been told that the waiting time is 15 working days which means I can't have it till next week.
They guy also told me that I can go to a T-Mobile store and pickup a handset if I wanted to (and if I could find one)...
But, I will wait for T-Mobile to send my handset in post, hoping that it will be from the new stock.

Khurram Majeed: Silver?
Matthew: Yes
Khurram Majeed: Okay, then can you please check my account as I am waiting for HTC One (Silver) for my upgrade.
Khurram Majeed: I have no information when I will be receiving my handset and trhe new SIM
Matthew: I would have been the happiest person if I was able to help you for this, but to be honest I belong to a Sales Department only for new customers and we don't have access to your information
Matthew: You can easily track your order by calling customer service on 0845 412 5000, and quoting your reference number. They will be able to tell you the status of the order.
Khurram Majeed: Okay
Matthew: Thank you for chatting with us. Have a nice day!
Khurram Majeed: Thank you
Matthew: *Take Care Khurram

But, I will wait for T-Mobile to send my handset in post, hoping that it will be from the new stock.

If it does arrive it probably won't have a microphone in it
In the process of returning my second phone now for this issue... what a pain. Glad to see they recognized it as a problem though!

They mentioned all devices manufactured after Jan 2017 should not have this issue. I received my phone 2 weeks ago. Is there a way to find out when my phone was manufactured?
Not sure, but I will say that I doubt I will be purchasing a phone from google again... spent half my day trying to get expedited shipping with no luck from them (this is a business phone).
You're not going to buy a phone because you can't get expedited shipping? That makes sense.

It's kind of important when it's a business phone. Heck it's important when it isn't business.
Frankly I see nothing wrong with taking your money where it benefits you best, regardless of how trivial someone else might find the gripe.

Come on, really? Get an inferior device because you can't wait another day or so? I guess I'm just not that impatient and I can use my current device for the interminable wait period of 2 days.

Inferior is subjective. Look at your convenient situation though of having another phone.
If it was my work phone I couldn't simply use another phone. It's not that easy.
It's a MICROPHONE issue, not Speakerphone.

I would like to know how to find out as well. Went through the "About Phone" but didn't come across anything. I purchased mine a little over a week ago from a corporate Verizon store, but no telling how long it had been sitting there in stock.
The only way to tell is by getting a refurbished one directly from Google.
How to check manufacturer date & where is it made from.

2016/10/13 from Taiwan got my device in December after a month from join list to get black 128gb but for a short while the 128 silver was available so I got it.
Thank you so much! My Pixel XL serial number is HT723 so i guess it is manufactured on 2017Feb3 according to the link above.

If Serial sticker label on the Box says Rev B then you've got the revised version and you should be ok.
Just got off the phone with Project Fi to process an RMA. Mine was manufactured 01/23/2017 and got the microphone issue.

Importance is subjective, as well, but considering not getting expedited shipping is probably not actually affecting your business I'd say the importance should objectively be somewhat low.
Also, if this is a work phone and you're trying to get it today, there are literally stores everywhere that could sell it to you, in person. Aside from a locked bootloader, they're the exact same phone.
This is all irrelevant, because we know nothing about what (s)he was talking about, above. He very-well could have been trying to get Google to give him *free* expedited shipping for some reason, in which case none of this matters. I highly doubt he was just ordering a new phone and they were refusing to let him buy expedited shipping.

You lost me at there literally being stores everywhere that have the phone. Given the time I posted my response people were still waiting on shipments. And no importance isn't subjective when it comes to work communications. At least not for me. But hey we don't know his situation or anyone elses so it's kind of whatever at this point. Especially a month after the comment was made.

Yeah I've been jumping around also. Waiting on the new PN. Kind of bummed Samsung caught on and killed Samsung pay on rooted non Sammy devices pair to the S3.
