It only changes the main screen for me. The rest is still in it's original language.
Czech works gr8, but we need to find out which manila is responsible for date format again... Dont like čt XI 12...

Which language did you try?
From Dutch (# 413) to English (# 409)
I think it should work well, because some cooked HD ROMs with M2.5 can do.
Does anyone know, or can anyone test if this trick will allow me to turn a chinese language hd2 into english. The original diamond forum post says yes, but it doesnt indicate whether they turned an english one into chinese or vice versa.

Works almost perfect. Some things are not translated, but in general, it's great

First I used 809 (UK) and, for example, the Settings page was with the IDs and not the description (e.g. IDS_).
Now I've 409 (US) and it's better. The options are not all covered, but it's much better than the 809. Under the Start menu, there are few modifications, but not many.

But what do you mean with "main screen"? The first tab of sense? Or all sense? Because on me, sense is "translated", not all, but almost!

wow thats like the most frustrating program ever. i wish i could get it to save this theme that took forever to build. then i clicked on that 'preview' button on the right and it brought up a palm pilot which is apparently impossible to close but disables the rest of the program. so i ended the program and deleted it off my hard drive. there isnt a compilation of some themes anywhere?

Give ThemeGenCE a chance
ThemeGenCE is not hard to use if you take the time to follow the online tutorials. The only thing that frustrates me about it is their english translation.

Yep, I use ThemeGenCE too, the theme designer is somewhat poorly arranged but does a good end result. Check my signature for rk-TSR i have some themes and try the rk-TSR scheduled theme switcher!

PS : you have also the italian, spanish, german version translated by native guys. French and the english translation are mine. If someone wants to adapt the program in better english, I can send him the resourcestrings...

Bulgarian ROM does not exist in nature. But I can make it. The truth is it takes a lot of my time. You will have all the resources at hand to translate.
I'm willing to try it in my spare time. But i'll need help with technical part.
I will be quite grateful even for a keyboard solution only.
I was thinking of spending some time how to make it, but a major issue is the number of the characters and how they fit conveniently is the touch keyboard.
There is a Russian version of Cyrillic keyboard that needs some tweaks but is done really well and looks great.
I also have some feeling that somewhere I met Diamond in Bulgarian. I guess it will be easy to borrow parts of the ROM from there.
I am willing to contribute with whatever I can. Let us see if we can get traction here.

It is early for whole ROM, but there is Bulgarian Manila3.
Just one corection! There IS Bulgarian ROM! I bought my HD with It. The only problem is that I flashed my HD 4 hours after I got it and I didn't dump the original ROM! Manila and most of the OS were in Bulgarian and there was a good BG keyboard just like the HTC one.

I couldn't find anywhere Bulgarian ROM. May be it's just localization like one from Sunnysoft.
Where from you bought HD with Bulgarian?
I bought mine from 2be 1 month ago. I don't know if it's just localization or not but Manila, menus, keyboard, and many of the programs were in bulgarian.

2be can flash back stock ROM with BG, if they don't want you can go to Oconnect. - they will.

Honestly i dont know WHY you need a Bulgarian ROM? for me and many other peoles is enought if we have Bulgarian Support in the Keyboard and you can do this easy with the Finger Keyboard witch is FREE software
Another one that is Super cool but is not free is Resco Keyboard PRO..
Excusme but if all the ROM is translated in Bulgarian/Cirilic i think will not look good and on the same time will be a bit confused because some technical words in English cannot be translated corectly on Bulgarian or at least will look FUNNY.
From the 1st time when i start to use Cell Phone befor alot of years i never asked my phone even to have Bulgarian Menu.. because they often translate it so FUNNY and Confused that is much more better to use it with English Menu, At least you dont need to be a English Professor to understand and to be able to work without problem with the WWE ROM
Yes it will be just like russian ?! But its nicer when you see it in you native language. Espacialy when Everything around us is in Latin and some of our children have started to write in their notebook at school in "Shliokavica"(Phonetical type of expression with latin letters) and after all whe have to be proud with the cyrillic

Well, there seems to be an issue with it on my ROM. I just get the default dialer but with black colors and missing graphics.
I've also tried the english one. I'm gonna look through the registry settings bundled with it and try to find out what happened.
EDIT
Importing the original phone canvas fixed that issue. Now to port it to QVGA (unless you can do that for me since I don't really know how to, yet. hehe)

Sorry, after finding a few bugs (caused by the porting to QVGA) and the fact that it didn't support landscape mode, I trashed it. My themer is working on something similar for the ROM that I'm currently working on, though, if it works fine, I'll let you know.

I'm about to buy an HTC Wildfire.
It is not available in my country, but I found an on-line store who ships the phone at a good price, however, it has written the following warning: "Software in Spanish".

There are missing some languages in stock rom, but you can find a lot in CM7. In my case, neither of stock and CM7 has it. I'm looking for a Persian rom.
Hello folks, I am wondering whether is possible or not to add more languages layout on the ICS stock keyboard. Personally I'm more than fine with the only available English one since I pretty much use to type in English, but it's really frustrating for the very few times when it comes to type in Italian. It would be useful to also have the Italian layout set up.
Is there a way that perhaps it can be compiled and get it installed without to have to compile the whole rom?
