xdaneo doesn't want to sync in any way :(. tried everything. need a master help pls

hi to all !
i recently got a German O2 XDA Neo and it's now 2 days i cannot get it synced with any pc... pls someone help, cause i'm desperate because of German OS (sry, i don't speak it well) and a whole bunch of contacts on my pc...
for the first time i tried to sync it with Windows Mobile Device Center on my desktop pc with Vista. but no luck, even then I opened all needed ports in windows firewall. no luck with getting it synchronized after soft or hard reset, restated my pc for a 1000 time and still no connection. when i tryed it on my brothers Win XP laptop with active sync 4.1 german (what was with the pda in a box) and with 4.5 active sync, again all needed TCP UTP ports open and restarted everything and tried every USB port around. still nothing ...
when changed USB cord and still no luck.
what can it be? can Neo's Mini USB slot just stop working?? or is it software issue? perhaps there is a way to flash it with other firmware from SD card?
please help, i'm all out of ideas ...

lost my usb connection

hello i lost my usb connection from my tilt 8925 it was working fine then it stoped cant sync my phone to my pc try reloading active sync and still is dead my sync dont read the phone or my pc.please help me fix this i have tried researching and my next step was asking all of yous for help.if all and all i have to call htc or at&t ut with having all the up grades to my phone woundering if they could help me.so please reply back with some help on how to fix this thanks..

Does the pc attempt to connect? Do you receive any error messages? Please give more information.

no there is no connection at all. i hook up my phone using the usb cable and i reinstalled my sync software and nothing happens i get a message that usb device is not working please check and try again im woundering if when i extracted a file i might have extracted a program that i needed to make this work im not sure what i could have done....please reply back if you could help would really be nice.....thank you hope you have a answer for me............

Hi. Help me please! I have got x1 but i haven't got a cd. But i want to update my rom, but it is working on Active sync. The problem : my combuter doesn't know the devce, so i can't update my rom and i can't upload Wm 6.5 Please help me. Thanks

There is absolutely no need for the original CD, i have one but i have never put in the the computer, i don't know even what's on it
I use my X1 with 2 computers, a Vista and an XP Pro, both recognized the x1 with no special drivers, activesync ok.
to update the ROM, check the X1 ROM forum here, there is a method without PC (the MicroSD method), which i use and is very fast and easy.

Does anyone know whether there are any prog that allow usb host on the xperia? I want to plug my hard drive into it w/o using a computer

It doesn't exist simply becuase xperia doesn't has the hardware to be a usb host.

So, thank you for all, but my problem is still. So, I've got windows xp and x1, the usb driver connect is very godd, it is working, but if i choose the Active sync the xp doesn't know the device. I don't know why. Should i have a driver or another program ? I want to update my rom and Wm 6.5. Please help

install active sync
then (re)install outlook (2007)

[Q] Problem with connection to PC

Hi, I'm trying to root the Wildfire using unrevoked3, but every time I connect it to my PC (I have installed the USB drivers needed) it appears as a ADB rather than an Android Phone.
Does anyone know what may be causing this?
Thanks in advance.
(Also, in Hboot it appears as Android Phone in my devices, yet when I launch into the main phone software, it becomes an ADB listed under Other Devices)

Mix, have you activated the DEBUG MODE? (settings->Applications->Development) then retry.

i have this same problem too...
mine is also on an old version of the firmware and when i select the option to search for an update, it says none are available, when i know that there is a more up to date firmware version...
any ideas anyone?? thanks

I had the exact same problem when I bought my Wildfire yesterday; it wouldn't work on my Windows 7 64 desktop...but when I tried it on my old XP laptop it did.
Then, on a hunch, I took the phone back to the Windows 7 desktop (without the debugging set) and it worked!
Why, I have no idea but it's all good now.

[Q] help needed connecting my imate jasjar to pc

hey all, ive tried my best to search this site and get some help but i just dont understand why cant i connect my i-mate jasjar with the computer, i dont have the cs or any thing, i tried installing active sync4 but it wont run on my os, im using windows 7 32bit, please help me how can i connect my phone to pc via usb cable or bluetooth

For Windows 7, you need Windows Mobile Device Center, not Active Sync. Install that and it will work.

i did, it goes connecting for around a minute or two then again, connection error. please help wheather i need to update the phone or something
