Software request.... vibrating PAD

I'm looking for a software that add to the phone pad the capability to vibrate when a number is dialed.
I've had a MotoA1000 that have this feature and i think that it's
Wonderfull.
Sometime you think yo have dialed but not.
Thanks
Here it is
OOPS, did not see it was for the wizard... don't know if this works with wm5, guess you can just give it a try
Hi...
if tomvdz's software didn't work, then do it by urself
Using a registry editor, goto HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds,ull find Dtmf(x),where x is a number from 0 to 9,edit each one of them by doing the following:
 rename the DWORD Value "Sound" to "Sound1"
 create a new String Value and name it Sound, and put *vibrate* as string(note that the asterix arround vibrate is a must...
 do the same to the other Dtmfs(u have to redo it 10 times)
 note that if u want the "#" and "*" in ur phone keypads to vibrate,u have to do the same procedure to Dtmf# and Dtmf*
Cheers....

This didn't work for me either.
what is this good for?
hmm, that's odd, on my Vario it worked! I think the posted file contains two cabs. The vibrate one gives you key virabtion, the keysound cab gives you the sounds back if you decide that you don;t want vibration...Don't use both, because the last one you use overwrites the first one. So if you want vibration, than only install vibrate.cab! To go back to keysounds, use the keysound cab again.
It finally worked. The catch was that apparently I had turned off keyboard souds in the Options menu of the Phone application. I toggled that back on and it worked. I didn't realize that the vibration was also controlled by that option.
Oops, sorry, forgot to mention that. I had the same problem when I installed it on my Magician half a year ago. It uses the same reg keys as for the sounds, so if the keyboard sounds are off in the options it also shuts down the vibrations.
By the way, now that they keypad sound is toggled on, the phone vibrates not only on number presses but also call begin and end. Is there a way to toggle that part off, but still keep the number dialing vibration?
I've heard about a program that vibrates when the person you are calling picks up, so you can hold your ppc in the hand while calling and waiting to vibrate then hold it to the ear.
anyone knows about that software? For the symbian platform its called FreeCallSprite Dial-up vibration software.
I have it just need to search on my vault!!!
Lol ok click on my htc SKYdrive IMAGE in my signature it tooks you to my public folder with my cabs there is one download it it works on my old wizard. or download the TrukQteka exe it has many tricks and allows you to set vibrate pad. is called "phone_pad_vibrate.cab" and set short tones on phone setting please.
I dont heard about that app? but for symbian? not for PPC WINMO!

Desperate for Louder Phone Volume!

Can someone please help me edit my registry to get louder phone volume...I have played with all of the values in audiogain and audiogain(x) and have successfully made me sound louder to other people, and made the speakerphone much louder, but I really need to get the earpiece volume louder. while driving, common road noise to loud enough to drown it out. Thanks...

Don't touch audiogain but HKEY current user/controlpanel/soundcategories/ring : put 5 in initvol and speaker.Repeat the same at HKEY current user/controlpanel/soundcategories/ringpreview.
You can change registry settings with MobileRegistryEditor.exe.

The initvol keeps reverting back to 3 on a soft reset the ring stuck though also in ringpreview there is no ring or initvol keys are we supposed to add these?
Thanks!
If u don't have these DWords you can add them. I did, it stays but no real improvement.
May I suggest using a more elaborate Registry Editor, such as Resco's. After changes, to keep them permanent, one must:
1. exit the reg edit program from the appropriate menu
2. shut off the PPC (to force writing the changes to flash)
4. re-open the PPC
5. immediately perform soft reset to restart with new changes
Anyway, as said, no big improvement is apparent. Must probably wait for a new ROM update.

I want also my volume a bit more then what i got now. So i looked it up in the registry but they where at 5 so now iam thinking can i set them to 6 or higher ????
Louder microphone
I have the opposite problem, in that the microphone gain on my Itech S38 is too low and people say I either sound really far away or they can't hear me at all. If anyone's messing around with the registry and find a registry value that ups the gain on the handsfree profile, I'd love to hear about it!
Thanks!

PS: I saw all the ones under HKLM\software\HT\Audiogain, but there are a few of them and I'm not sure which ones would work.

Phone ring delay

Hey,
I would like to upgrade to the TyTN but I need to known if the is any issue with the phone like it was on the Universal.
When someone calls you does the TyTN ring straight aswait or does it start ringing after3 or 4 ring like it did on the universal.
Is the screen aligment on the TyTN been sorted out?
Is they any major problem with the device?
Well it run TomTom Navigator 6?
Cheers for any input.
Thanks

I have found that there is a ring delay of 1 ring on my Tytn (Vario II). I too had the Universal on trial with VodaUK and the delay was excessive.
The screen alignment issue is only a problem for me if the phone get excessively hot (such as the time I left it near my laptop fan) other than that is works reasonably well.
I have tried TT 5.10 and it ran well.

there is an option in Tweak2k2 program is "Disbles 3s delay in Ringtone", i didn't try it yet, please test
sorry about my english
i have the tweaks2k2 program installed and the 3s delay is ticked......but when someone calls me there is still a delay of one ring only and then the phone wakes up on the second ring........
and yes tom tom 6 will definitely work.....

Should be HKCU\Control Panel\Sounds\RingTone0
My default setting is actually "av0pw3r"??? I don't know what this means, so I've just left it alone!!!

I think the value varies depending on the settings you have for ring tone, I have "vibrate and then ring" and my default value was "v3w3apw3r". I've been plying with the values and ringing myself after each change, this is my conclusion:
The first '3' specifies the vibrating time before the phone rings, the second '3' specifies the delay after the phone stops vibrating and the ringtone starts playing and the third '3' specifies the delay between repeated ringtones. Correct me if I am wrong
errr.... forget my previous comment, I was wrong but Google told me the truth:
Change ringtone/vibrate/LED flash characteristics
If you would like more control over how your device rings/vibrates/flashes its LEDs on events, you can can change the Script values of these events. For example, for an incoming call performing 'activate device, play ringtone, wait 3 seconds, repeat':
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\RingTone0\Script = "apw3r" (REG_SZ string, no quotes)
For performing 'active device, set volume to 33%, play ringtone, set volume to 67%, play ringtone, set volume to 100%, play ringtone (no repeat)':
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\RingTone0\Script = "ac33pc67pc100p" (REG_SZ string, no quotes)
The following are the full codes available to you. Please note that all the codes are executed simultaneously except after a ringtone play / wait code. E.g. 'v1p' will vibrate and play at the same time, while vibrating for 1 second. But 'pv1' will play the ringtone through all the way first, then start vibrating for 1 second.
a = activate device
cN = set volume to N in percentage max volume
fN = flash notification LED for N seconds
p = play ringtone. Note that this will play the ringtone all the way through before continuing with the next code.
r = repeat. Note that this should be the last code in your Script string, if used at all.
vN = vibrate for N seconds
wN = wait for N seconds. Note that the device will wait this long before continuing with the next code.

So according to the data given,
The phone activates and rings. There is no delay between.
...yet there is a decent amount of delay before the device rings on this end.
I don't have tweaks2k2 but it seems it doesn't do any better anyway...
See this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=258109
I want to get rid of the delay, but I'd like to be able to use PhoneAlarm and they probably aren't compatible.

This fixes this problem. The ring delay is a common problem regarding the power/wake up status of the phone. The fix corrects it.
Download tweaks2k2 from www.tweaks2k2.com, and you will have an evaluation copy which will work for three goes. I recommend you purchase if you're happy with it, it's a great tool, and so many uses! The writer should be rewarded.

where is this app on the url you have provided? I just get a load of ads...
thanks
The url is actually http://www.tweaks2k2.com
EDIT: I can also confirm that this does work.
Looks like it's just a simple reg hack

Quiet sound during conversation

Hi,
I have a s200 for almost a week now and the phone sounds damn quiet when i am having a conversation, so i was wondering if your s200 sound a bit quiet too and most importantly if there is a way, a patch, a registry mod or something through which i could increase the volume of the phone.
All this is happening with volume to the top, i tried all of the methods i could think of but it is still quiet.
Thanks!
can you tell me if your phone is brand new? if its still new and under warranty i suggest you should to return this to where you bought it from if not... pls post specifications of your ROM like is it WM 5, 6, 6.1 or 6.5 coz registry tweaks differ from each ROM... for the mean time try reading this.. i copied this from an old forum thread which quotes on volume increasing...
[GUIDE]Registry Tweaks for Volume
Sorry if this has already been posted but there are a couple of things that are worth outlining to most users.. for example there are registry entries that allow you to change the volume and increase it significantly beyond windows actually supports and there are various other edits.. but one edit i really would like is to disable the Incoming Call Bubble..(haven't found a solution for it yet) but i thought i'd just provide everyone else with what i've found so far. (I take no credit for these registry edits)
Volume Edits
HKCU\ControlPanel\Volume\
DWORD - Ringer
(HEX)Increase it to 0x#<change it to 5 or higher> to increase it to its maximum volume. - Only tested on the Atom Life
(DEC)Increase it to over 5 to increase the volume
DWORD - Volume
Same as Ringer DWORD
In Call Edits
REMOVE SOUNDS WHEN ADJUSTING VOLUME INCALL
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\StandardIncallVolume
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\QuietestIncallVolume
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\LoudestIncallVolume
STRING - Script
Remove the 'p' in the script strings to remove the noises while in a call. This makes the volume increase smoother and removes the annoying noises.
INCREASE INCALL VOLUME
HKCU\Control Panel\SoundCategories\InCall
DWORD - InitVol
Defaults to around 2 - 5, Increase this to 5 or Higher
Ringtone Edits
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\Ringtone0
STRING - Script

i havent tried all of the tweaks on my phone coz i dont need a loud one you can read them and try soft reset and then check if something had changed in your volume.. (credit to the one who made this thread)
and dont forget to back up your registry before applying changes you made...
you may try these driver too if this will be needed..
i attached also a taskmanager where in you can find registry editor in its sub menu..
Enjoy and hope this helps
The phone is brand new, but it has no valid warranty with it. I am running the original WM 5, which was installed on the phone, its brand is qtek, and it is g4, as far as i can see. I thought of upgrading to wm6, but i am afraid, that it may become unusable.
Anyway, i can notice any difference with the changes from your post, but now it is topo late and everything is quiet so i can hear a conversation quite clearly, i will run a "field test" tomorrow, and i will post the results.
Thanks for your help!
Regards!
Nope no change, still quiet
One day, i've got a problem like this... Sound heard of the conversation was poor when around was noisy...
This was a parameter to change in the microphone part of the settings :
"Start", "Parameters", "System" tab, "Microphone AGC" icon, then uncheck the gain of the microphone (set to disable)
Worth the try, eh ??

Faster End Call Time / Hangup

Found this ..
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\PHONE\PhoneExtendSetting]
"EndCallTime"=3000
The 3000 is the default 3 seconds... make it 1000 which means it takes 1/3rd the time to end a call.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\PHONE\PhoneExtendSetting]
"EndCallTime"=1000
Touch Pro2 - Mobile 6.5
Ok Added files ..
1000 1-Sec.
500 1/2-sec
0 0-sec
Becarfull 0 sec could cause problems :/
worked like a charm
i would have never thought to change this setting but i had noticed the lag in ending a call. great idea!

Double check, but the "advanced configuration tool" has that in it, so if you are a little gun shy about screwing with the registry, you can set it from there.
Personally, I like messing with the registry.
yeah, it worked great. thanx again for the post.
Gotta ask since one you 'hang up' you cant stop the process why other than feeding the telco an extra 3 seconds would they implement this?
worked for me. nice!~
Hello guys im a Touch HD user so in the Advanced Tool app you have this option and i did the delay to be "0" Now my phone not have any delay for End Call time / Hangup
