Definition
IPL: Initial Program Loader
SPL: Second Program Loader (System Programing Language does not make any sense)
IPL Trigger SPL and then SPL activate the OS

2. Connect your phone to computer, make sure activesync is enabled (green icon)
3. Use ROMUpdateUtility.exe

Patch IPL & SPL :
IPL for G3 or G4
SPL : 1.11.cmon
This means you can flash ANY ROM to your Artemis after flashing USPL on it, no need to pay for CID unlock anymore!
Instructions:
1. Unzip
2. Connect your phone to computer, make sure activesync is enabled (green icon)
3. Run start_uspl.exe on your computer and wait until process finishes
4. See USPL Thread for more information

I did the following operations to make the device SUPER CID:
I synchronized the devece with Active Sync 4.1 .
I started aWizard 1.3 beta 1.
I checked options u and e with aWizard 1.3 beta 1.
Then I started Lokiwiz02b and checked option C.
But it did not help.
After that I tried application unlock for SDA, and then started option C with Lokiwiz02b, but it didn't help.
How can I make the device SUPER CID?

EDIT Further to advice below ignore above advice.
As of now, there's NO FREE option to do CID unlock on Wizard with G4 chip (IPL/SPL end with .0001)
The only way to have CID unlock on your phone is to use the service at http://www.imei-check.co.uk (about US$40)
The FREE option for your device for now is SIM unlock by using Lokiwiz 0.3a
If the IPL and SPL have ".001", don't attempt to flash with existing roms unless the rom explicitly supports the G4 bootloader... there are a good amount of G4 Wizards that are bricks because of this.

Install a original WM5 Rom and read hera about bootloader and hardspl or softspl. Here are so many treads about your problem.
Hello all!
I need urgent help with my T-Mobile MDA Vario I (Wizard 200) G4 (2006):
I wanted to upgrade to WM6 and used Hard SPL to do that. Read all the tutorials.
After applying Hard SPL the boot screen read:
IPL: 2.21.0001
SPL: 2.21.Olip
GSM: 02.19.11
OS: 2.24.2.5
Then I flashed the ROM with "RUU_WM6_XB_FUSION" .....
Result: At reboot it hang in the old T-Mobile boot screen stating:
the above IPL and SPL but
GSM: 02.47.21
OS: 10.0.0.0
The only thing I can do now is:
go into boot loader mode by pressing camera and stylus
and reflash it with the same RUU: it still hangs....
Not possible to reconnect to Active Sync anymore so cannot remove Hard SPL to go back to original OS with Soft SPL....
SO WHAT NOW???? Please Help, I am at a loss, just bought it...
you need to install a non official windows mobile 5 rom that doesnt have spl / ipl built into them (ex: wizard love rom) google it.

Im stuck in bootloader.
Wend I power on the device it goes directly to bootloader and
the screen say :
ET \ Njq
IPL - v1.00
ET \ Njq
SPL- v1.20. Olipro
USB( wend is connect )
serial ( wend is unconnect )
I dont remember what it was befor I try to flash a WM 6.5 rom on it.
It as a WM 6.1 in Portuguese Rom befor my attent.
I cannot power off the device by pressing the button but have to take
the battery.
I already try to change the rom, the SPl and put everything inside just
to try to move from were I am but no results.
Began to update but ends or in 1% or in 7% and loose the connection.
The device connects to the PC but in PC in WM device center nothing happens.
I try Win7 and also XP.
I went to HTC site to download the official portuguese ROM but there are no
ROM to download.
So I´m dead on the water.
I will apreciate very much any kind of input that take me out
of were I´m now.
I´m not a expert as you already notice.Please keep it simple.

is that the bootloader command Herme (mtty) could walk on Advantage X7500
i had this problem and what i did to remedy it was, take out the battery, take out the sim card and the sdcard. replace the battery and turn on the device.
once it is in the bootloader plug in usb cable and make sure the bootloader shows usb at the bottom.
then try to load any rom that is for spl 3.0. they should load and get it out of the bootloader mode.
Once you have it working again then be sure and flash the proper spl of the rom that you are wanting before you flash the rom.
i tried the wrapper and hardspl as well until i just tried the above example on a whim and it worked. I hope it works for you.
