Analog clock AND keep calendar/call history/alarm? - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV Themes and Apps

Hi guys. I looked through a bunch of analog clocks, and it seems like they all take the calendar off the screen. Are there any that dont?
I have a Sprint TP, stock ROM.

Remove the analog clock that is (sometimes) in the top-bar?

Since a few days there's a analog clock on the top-bar of my Wizard.
Personally I think it looks like crap and wanna get rid of it a.s.a.p.
I think it's there since I played with the setting to show the clock on the top-bar when I have a program opened,
the option is disabled but the analog clock is still there.
The only other thing I've done with my device after that is installing IntelliClose, but I don't think that has anything to do with the clock.
How can I get rid of this clock for good guys?
Regards,
Molski
I can't test it because i have a newer ROM, but i think you should just click & hold on the analog clock, then you can choose between analog and digital.
Thanks man, works great.
Right now the (digital) clock only comes up when I have my Wizard in Landscape mode....and I can live with that!

Analog clocks for the HD

I think Ive found out how to remove the call history and calendar from the home screen of Touchflo on the HD. It appears to be linked to the flip clock. This clock can be skinned using cab,s from the Diamond forum.
If you replace the flip clock with an analog clock it removes the call history and calendar. HOWEVER - it makes a big black bar across the bottom of the screen above the icon bar. I think this is down to the Diamond screen being a different size. Im no software engineer so dont know if/where or how to change this.
Hopefully there is someone out there that can make CAB's of analog clocks for the HD (starting with an Xperia style hopefully) as I havent had any look finding any.
Please.

I am interested in getting an analog clock for the HD as wel and have experienced the same issue described above

Transparent Clocks & Sliders

Hello to All.....
I hate being a noobie with this stuff and I have done my fair share of searching & testing (with quite a few hard reboots) but I think I'm missing something here. In a lot of the different theme.cab pics I've seen, they will have both a clear clock and slider bar. But every time I install a theme.cab file it only has an effect on the wallpaper; not the clock or the slider. Are these separate "modification" that need to be done or should installing the theme.cab take care of it all?
I've played around with the Crystal Clock install but that has caused some problems and now I can't even uninstall. As far as transparent sliders....I can get nothing to work.
Does having a transparent clock or slider require some type of "root" installation of some other program first so whatever theme gets installed will take effect?
I've downloaded the HDwall program and have been playing with it for a bit but for the life of me I can't get a custom slider to work.
If this makes any difference I'm running a Verizon version of the TP2.
As I said, I hate asking but it's driving me nuts and I'm hoping someone can give me some direction as to how to get these themes fully working. This is certainly a lot different than the older themes I used on my Samsung i760.
Thanks much,
Brian
same problem
I've come across the the same problem. I've tried to install seperate clock cabs and also whole themes. In my case the clock never changes. I installed MaxTTM tried to install the custom clocks and they never work, I actually have to restore the theme to get the messed up clock off of it. tham
nks for the help.
Hey guys, this post may be of some significance to you Verizon users.

analogue desk clock?

Any way of changing the desk clock from the nasty digital one to one of the more interesting analogue HTC widgets?

Delete the clock widget and then add it again, you will get the option to choose wich one you like
aren't you thinking of the homescreen clock widget, rather than the desk clock app?
Oh yeah... sorry... too tired apparently ;/

Show Us Your Clock

hey guys, i was wondering if you guys can do a printscreen of the types of clocks you have installed on your phones
i am interested in downloading a nice analogue clock onto my Desire, but cant find any nice ones.
So was wondering if people can display what clocks they are using and the name of it too.

I would really suggest you to download "Custom Clock Widget" from the market. It looks ugly in the screenshots but it's the best analog clock out there imho You can choose everything by yourself: numbers, pointers, frames, shadows, background etc... The only downside is that you won't get to alarms by tapping the clock.
This thread sounds like a bad innuendo.
