does anyone know how to hardreset htc snap using hardware method?i have recently updated to windows mobile 6.5
i have try holding down volume key+send and end key.But it does not work at all.

Have you tried preforming a hard reset? (I think you hold down the end, camera and reset buttons at the same time, not 100% sure though, search the threads ) Also, what rom are you using, custom or official cause it could have been a dodgy flash?
Hi, i have a problem with my camera on my htc 3g. (wm 6.5)
actually the phone is pressing all the time the "camera" button from the homepage and my phone remains stuck, then i restart it but it still pressing (camera Button), then i install another wm 6.5, clear storage card and actually then the phone works one day but keep returns on that camera BUG... and idk what it's that.. i have a phone virus from some apps? or a touchproblem? HELP! and ty [srry for my bad english]

try the following
1. do a hard rest
2. try flashing any other rom may be the orginal rom and then flash any other working rom u feel comfy with
3. last solution is take it to service

Hello, i have a problem with my HTC .
The power button is always pressed i had a rom on it before then i switched to the official rom from htc blackstone (HK).
I k'now this isn't a hardware problem because , the system is acting very slow to !!!.I also used Android 2.2 on it.
Things i've tried ,
Soft reset
Hard Reset
And it has been never exposed to water.
Have you consider sending it to HTC for repairing?

After flashing?, I have no idea if they would consider fixing it.
After installing an android rom on sd card, my wp7 rom screen is unresponsive. It has an awful wake up time and the touch screen fails to work. the hardware buttons are ok. What could be going on?

Hey people, I usually upgrade roms on my blackstone, been 2 years now, all fine, until yesterday after a task 29.{Ypsmav rom} My phone didn't want to start, eternal freeze on start up with the htc logo ..
Can you kindly help me please.Tried several HR, to no avail..
This happend to me, this is what i did to fix it:
Take the batery of the phone
Wait a few minutes and put the batery back on
With the USB Cable unplugged press the Volume Down button and then the Power Button
Plug the USB into the phone (Don't do anything else to the phone)
Run the ROM you downloaded
Select Task 28 and upgrade.
It worked with my Touch HD
task 29 completely formats your phone, including the rom partition, so of course it cannot boot into windows mobile, there is currently no windows mobile on it!
as already pointed out, you need to flash a rom again.

I hope it´s ok to use this thread for my question...
I have a big problem with my old Blackstone... I didn´t use it for a long time (because I got a HTC Desire and a Galaxy Tab). Now i started the phone, but it won´t boot. It stucks at the boot screen (HTC Smart Mobility)...
So far so good... So I thought, I´ll do a Hard Reset... Then I saw that the VOL-Buttons are broken... So, HardReset with VOL-Button won´t work.
Is it possible to flash the phone via USB (ActiveSync doesn´t work...)?
Or is the phone broken?

without the use of the volume buttons, it is next to impossible to get the device working again, since your device does not boot into winmo nor can you access the bootloader mode to flash it. your only chance would be to get the volume keys working again, have you tried using them without the back cover and pressing them really deep?

Yeah, I've tried to get the Buttons work again, but keys are definitly broken. Something seems to miss on the buttons, so I think the are broken...

since you do have another phone, you might want to consider giving away/ selling your blackstone.
lately, i think there are more and more threads with people that have problems with their displays and/or digitizers and they might be willing to buy it for parts or you could donate it to the developers of xdandroid, so they finally have a device to test it on.
or you could search and download the htc blackstone service manual pdf and disassemble the device yourself to fix the buttons.
