here in this Forum and now i have a question:
I was searching here for a long time to do a soft reset on my decive in the same way with a *.lnk File and a Short Cut.
(In the Moment i do this with a softreset.exe, but if possible, i will change it to the *.lnk Shortcut)
Is there already a commandline for a restart of the device - i mean a soft reset and NOT a Hardreset. My Mobile has WM6.1

PS: I asked this question in the Kaiser Forum in an existing Thread, but i think it´s a general theme of windows mobile. So i opened this Thread. I have searched for along time about this prob here and nothing found. Is there is an existing one i´ve not found, pls delete or close this one.

Guys, Have been searching the site for a couple of weeks now and cant find a solution to my problem.
I work for a company that deals with alot of XDA2 units, so far I have managed to develop a custom extended rom that works fine, but have not been able to find a way to remove links from the start menu and the program menu. seen several threat on the site but no solution. The links have to be removed if a hard reset occurs. At present It has to be done by cloning an image onto the unit (1600 in total)
Any help would be appreciated.

I would love a program which based on a txt file would "delete","rename"... files and/or registry.
Something that could be executed from config.txt
there was a thread about a .bat interpreter but i don't think they got it working.

I'm using Restorator utility (search through the forum) to do the aforementioned things and much more. Works flawlessly with new Second Edition rom

I`m trying to find few things but without any success:
- where are stored the SMSes in windows mobile 6 (on file, inside the registry or... ??)
- is it possible to change the WiFi SSID and key over the registry -- i have extracted all registries from my device on file, but cannot find any ssid parameter
I was also looking over the forum, but cannot find any previous discussions .

Guess you are looking for something like psShutXP. This has the soft reset option.

After I used this app about a couple month ago, I wonder why after
soft-reset or boot my PPC it always doesn’t load this app on today screen while other work find.
Even I config it in today items list so I always reload it manual after boot or soft reset by myself . How to manual modify create shortcut in startup folder.
I can't find *.exe for create shortcut *.lnk Just saw only *.dll and can't find any registry to edit. Help me please.
I bore to loading app manually every time after soft reset and boot my PPC.

I've downloaded the cab and everything is working fine, but, because on soft reset all the values return to the original one I'm forced to install the cab everytime, so it should be easier to create a button that is going to modify the following parameter in the registry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\TNETW12511\Parms]
"HTCKeepWifiOnWhenUnattended"=dword:00000001
Is it possible? There is someone helping me?
I have to keep on the wifi in order to use my voip...

You can export that registry key and just insttall the registry instead of the cab if the settings aren't sticking.
