the Qualcomm processors...
the Qualcomm processors have a 528 mhz proccesorand openGL ES
to run touchflo 3d you need openGL ES otherwise it won't work.

No because the Diamond is a VGA device and Cruise is QVGA and the lack of drivers might cause problems too.
Mind you, I think I've previously seen a thread on these forums about someone working on a QVGA version but I can't find it now.

Does not work (2 max 3 FPS) on Cruise because there is not the Direct 3D enabled.

I'm gonna buy a blackstone the next days and now have the normal Touch using batterystatus to overclock ist.
Is it also possible to overclock the blackstone? I didn't find an answer to that question by now.
I also use the (HTC?) actionscreen as softkey right, does that app also work with the HD?

The only app that i know of for overclocking your device does not support the Qualcomm chipset. Sorry.

Hi.
Actionscreen works rigth (at least in my spanish ROM, using the Fabliv 9 Btn Diamond Actionscreen).
Sorry, but no idea about overcloking the HD.

Battery status was able to over clock arm processors, not qualcomm, as fare as I know there is no way (as of yet) to overclock the HD as I have been looking for a way to overclock the polaris which runs the same chip... anyways the chip is running at 528, why would you want to speed it up, it doesn't need it.

Yes it does.
Could be a useful workaround for video playback, as until a video driver or an optimized CorePlayer comes out video processing relays entirely on CPU, so overclocking should give a visible improvement performance-wise.

Update: Couldn't get it to work, get haret enable to run error message popping up, when run haret itself, it starts Linux, then... nothing happens. The issue could possibly be related to my Touch running Onyx version, rather than shipped ROM. Who knows...

Tried on Universal, couldn't even install. 620mhz.
I think the problem for Linux/Android is the "non capable" to run on TI's OMAP devices.
so the Elf is tried out the game, while the Elfin and the Vogue are OK because builded with Qualcomm processor.

Ok I have tested your drivers with CorePlayer Benchmark
so my result :
htc_d3dm.dll => 113% (video bleach in flv right resolution)
omnia => (yours) => 83% (worst so)
d3dm_ati.dll => 81 % (worst too ...)
so stay on d3d from htc for the moment
ok I have test again
CorePlayer for same video in d3d is at 110 % for all drivers
for Hologram :
ati: 16 fps
omnia : won't run
htc: 0,11 fps
add kaiser gl improve everything with ati drivers !

i made the mistake and installing the HTC-CA-Kaiser-Drivers.cab, and my HD just won't boot. I have to hard reset

Yeah, of course,
I join the 2 files
Install process :
Unzip libgles_cl.zip, copy dll in \Windows (use tcmd or any other tools)
Install Diamond Ati d3d driver.cab
Reboot
Here we are now there is 3d and d3d hardware acceleration,
If you want to switch back to official drivers, just uninstall Diamond Ati d3d driver and reboot
It's not perfect, I have freeze one time, so just for testing, I hevy test it actually,
Have fun !

I just install diamond ati drivers + opengl from kaiser (ati drivers is a wrapper for opengl lib, so)
I don't install kaiser drivers at all

Does this mean the d3d driver improves video acceleration compared to the official HTC?
for video is really light the difference, but noticable
without, I have 103% in a video (FLV 536x306 25 fps) with CorePlayer benchmark
113 % with new driver
I have just test Direct Draw mode (D3D so)
I will test it more, but seems to be really really nice
what about the battery life with this new ati driver?

I have an battery life of 3 days .. I'm watching video in divx format 2 hours / day, sending sms, navigating on web (so using 3g),
I can say it's nice

This api doesn't exist on stock rom or custom (except one with it include by cooker)
so I think it's usefull for hologram tools or any other game / program use it.
but no a lot for TouchFlo3D.

Its got the same chip as Touch HD doesn't it though? I have the HD and my gf just got a Touch2... I must say the 2d TF is REALLY FAST. Wish the 3D one run as fast on mine

but ive installed the SPB Shell that works fine and its similar to a 3D, BUT
it changes completely the skin and the apps of my phone something that i didnt like so i removed it
The mega is a QVGA screen. Touchflo3D is for VGA devices. You would need it ported to QVGA and the graphics accelerator as previously mentioned.
This was tried on the Vogue, and was fruitless.

So i did ... TouchFlo on Touch2 is working really fine and i like it ... spb Shell is nice but ... cracking the beaty of the phone ... it's looking like a 10 year old menu ...
So ... How did u do it?
