How can you know the version no. is "1.1"?
It's actually still 1.0.0.7p, but it's been updated already - the one we can download from the official Windows Mobile web site NOW is exactly the same as yours.
windows marketplace says v1.1
the other version on there says v1.0 (1.0.0.7)
The important thing is - any improvement or different from the previous version?
then what difference does it make this version with the previous version? (v1.0.0.7p)
what is a new feature?

Simple reason I would guess ... They updated it but forgot to change the version number within the application.
Can't people take it as granted that if someone says it has been updated and certain problems fixed that IT IS A NEW VERSION ?! - You trust someone to upload a file that you install without question ... What's worse??!!

Last night I set up market place and at the top of the list was facebook 1.1. Refreshes a lot more frequently, allows comments & tags to photos, allows comments to peoples status'.
Not sure what else it can do as have sent my phone off today to be repaired!
Oh and later on, marketplace came up telling me there were two new versions but they were 1.0 and then 1.1 lol.
Fairly certain 1.1 is much better and responsive than 1.0.0.7p

Actually, the version no. shown in Marketplace is often incorrect, e.g. the version of Windows Live shown in Marketplace is 10.8 but it's actually 10.7.0057.0802, a bit newer than the version provided in here(Version: 10.7.0057.0801).
actually, microsoft are testing the software updating function in Marketplace for mobile, so... that version 1.1 is FAKE

Wait a sec. Marketplace is showing 1.1 for 1.007 and 10.8 for 10.70057....? Is it just rounding up the version numbers?
i reckon there is a change besides adding in new language. the change is subtle. i cant tell much because i hardly use it but from what i observed, the phonebook tab in v1.1 allows you to call and text from within the facebook app itself.

When requesting extra icons please post screenshot(s) to make it easier for me to make your requests. It is faster that way so I don't have to search around what the icon looks like. Keep it it mind that any requests might take some time because I also help out another rom for icons (Might be lucky if I'm not busy lol)

WM 6.5 and 6.5.5 are Windows Builds not having to do anything with the phone itself.
You are free to install this build on your phone as long as it is not TMOBILE-US make and you have already install HSPL to enable custom ROM flashing.

has anyone got any updated software for this please? it’s not running as I’d like so need to upgrade the software.
i’m having issues with getting the canbus to work, and I have a feeling the software has an error in it.

Actually I think I've found it, based off of my spec.
Why not check out this guide that provides custom firmware and lots of improvements to YT9216BJ? Just check out the UI and there is much much more you can do, that you can't do on stock firmware.

I too have a similar headunit. But MCU is showing as 3.7.
Can you please share me the frimware details?

I have a vertical screen yt9216bj with arm ac 8227l and mt 6323 lga got it without firmware so it is empty so have no original firmware for it
can I save it or is it just to throw it away

hi @SirRGB i've noticed you build 2 new carbon rom build, vanilla and chocolate, whats the difference between the regular and the vanilla/chocolate version?
Vanilla is without gapps
Chocolate is gapps
Tried building with the latest security patches as well, but ril doesnt work on it...
The builds on sf should be fine tho
Edit: ril was fine, imei just didnt show up in settings.
New builds are up, will do a feb one in 2 or 3w.
Imei wont be shown in the settings, but it shows up in the phone app and works. Should be some permission issue, which I wont investigate since it doesnt affect anything.
Great builds, using latest Carbon8.0 as daily driver for more than a month and it works flawlessly
