How can you know the version no. is "1.1"?
It's actually still 1.0.0.7p, but it's been updated already - the one we can download from the official Windows Mobile web site NOW is exactly the same as yours.

windows marketplace says v1.1
the other version on there says v1.0 (1.0.0.7)

The important thing is - any improvement or different from the previous version?

then what difference does it make this version with the previous version? (v1.0.0.7p)
what is a new feature?

anyone have any feedback on this ?

yeah, it does say 1.0.0.7...and interestingly, the v1.0.0.7 on the ms site has the same files, but timestamped 1 day more recent and twice the size

They have just added some languages that's all

Simple reason I would guess ... They updated it but forgot to change the version number within the application.
Can't people take it as granted that if someone says it has been updated and certain problems fixed that IT IS A NEW VERSION ?! - You trust someone to upload a file that you install without question ... What's worse??!!

Last night I set up market place and at the top of the list was facebook 1.1. Refreshes a lot more frequently, allows comments & tags to photos, allows comments to peoples status'.
Not sure what else it can do as have sent my phone off today to be repaired!
Oh and later on, marketplace came up telling me there were two new versions but they were 1.0 and then 1.1 lol.
Fairly certain 1.1 is much better and responsive than 1.0.0.7p

Actually, the version no. shown in Marketplace is often incorrect, e.g. the version of Windows Live shown in Marketplace is 10.8 but it's actually 10.7.0057.0802, a bit newer than the version provided in here(Version: 10.7.0057.0801).

actually, microsoft are testing the software updating function in Marketplace for mobile, so... that version 1.1 is FAKE

Wait a sec. Marketplace is showing 1.1 for 1.007 and 10.8 for 10.70057....? Is it just rounding up the version numbers?

i reckon there is a change besides adding in new language. the change is subtle. i cant tell much because i hardly use it but from what i observed, the phonebook tab in v1.1 allows you to call and text from within the facebook app itself.

The version 1.007 that has been available for months has allowed you to call and text from that tab.

system works ok, no bugs for now. Games like pubg work like in 2.6.4
Only problem i have is error on boot (tsc deadline disabled due to errata please update microcode to version 0x20 or later)

Bios is up to date, it`s comming with windows update (surface pro 2)

i dont think so ,microcode update is generally embedded in bios update, search google

Im having the same problem "tsc deadline disabled due to errata please update microcode " I have found an update for microcode on intel for my processor core m3 6Y30. Its basically a ".tgz" file. Now how am I supposed to update Intel microcode in kernel firmwares . Noob here

No viruses in the Phoenix OS Installer.
And Phoenix OS developers got no plans about upgrading to Android 8.x or 9.x, until there is a stable version of Android-x86.
The Android-x86 team already made a release candidate of Android Oreo for PCs.

Hi, I successfully installed phoenixos on my Acer switch 10, a tablet with touch screen and detachable keyboard.
I successfully installed it, but I can't boot, as at boot the "bash-like grub message" appears and I can't give any useful input thought it....
Can anyone help me??

I can't find much on this head unit. I am wondering if I will be able to flash a custom rom. This is an eonon headunit. I had an eonon before and I was able to flash a rom to it but this one is different. This is my info:

Short answer is no. Your MCU isn't compatible neither your Android type.

Tried to root my device back in May but ended up bricking it. Since then i tried flashing few firmwares every now and then but failed with error 4032 or NAND & EMMC error.
Details of my device shown by WWR while attached. Careless mistake was not taking backup. Pls guide to bring it back to life.

hi to all about three months ago I bought on a well-known Chinese site a car stereo for bmw 1 series ccc which according to them mounts android 10 I tried with the aida64 software and it says that it is android 8.1 instead with cpuz it says android 10 a who to believe mah what I know for sure is that it is an alps 8227l full demo to be precise this is full_8227L_demo-userdebug 10 011019 1586402897 userdebug
now I wanted to know if it was possible to update or root as it is not possible to install a different launcher if I try to interface with the phone it does not connect with easy connection as you do not have the permissions and honestly I wanted to update it and put a rom this is the Version: BMWID6_LC_OS_1.24

With the usb connected and flash tool in Write Memory with ROM_2 selected in EMMC_USER, i played around with red wire and usb while shorting test point writing started but got an error at 4% and powering up brought Android logo in my dead HU. Then flashed full firmware without preloader and it was back to normal. Trying to root bricked it again.
Same issues as earlier, 4032 without shorting tp and EMMC NAND error upon shorting tp.
Can someone guide with proper steps pls?
