Stock Tilt 2 "InternetPortal-en-US.xml" file! - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Themes and Apps

Guys, I've made something very dumb - I played around with Application Data\Manila\InternetPortal-en-US.xml file and forgot to make a backup
I've messed it up, and now I don't remember the path to the original internet icon.. was a long path ending with banner.qtc or something..
Can someone please post contents of this file or just the path to that original icon?
Much appreciated.

here you go and your welcome

Thank you very much =)

first of all much thanks for all the awesome work.im a super nube,i didnt even anything like this forum existed until a couple of weeks ago.im trying to install the fix for changing the color of ALL the text in cookies home tab.the fix said to extract the manilla file to \windows(overwrite existing file) and restart sence.i get to the part where i have extracted the manila file but i dont know what to do next.i cant find a \windows option.i appreciate any input and sorry if my nubeness is causing me to miss something obvious.i have a new tmobile hd2.
use a file explorer to copy the file into the \Windows folder.

When you're looking in the folder you want it to end up in, hit the menu button in the bottom right, then "edit", then "paste"
thanks sirphunkee i got it in the windows folder but it didnt fix the tex color issue im gonna go back to the fix post and read it carefully to make sure i did everything right.thanks again.
i read the fix instructions again and i think im suposed to actually find the specific file and replace it with the fix file but since i have no idea what that file is i think im stuck.thanks again for the awesome forums and all the help.

joe, can you point me to the thread you're talking about? I'll go check it out and see if I can get you through the steps.
its in the 1st post of the cookies home tab thread you scroll down and there is a part that says known issues and its the fix correcting the text color issue(when you change the text color but not all the text color on the home screen changes to the color you want).i wish i knew how to post a link so you dont have to waste your time searching.im pretty new to all this but learning.i think if i knew the specific file in the windows folder that im suposed to replace with the fix file it would work but there is like a kabillion files in the folder.much thanks for all your help.

Ok, it's simpler than you think lol. That file (5DED22E8_manila) inside the zip you downloaded just needs to be copied to the windows folder...if you do that correctly, you should get a prompt asking if you want to overwrite an existing file, click yes, and then soft-reset.
awesome!that did it.it didnt work at first but that was because i renamed the file to something more recognizable.i deleted it and copy the original file without renaming it and it worked just like you said.thanks for all the help.

No problem, glad it worked!
I should (have) give you fair warning too...be very careful when tinkering with your manila files like this, they're the crucial elements of your Sense interface. I would strongly recommend you make a backup copy of every "manila_" file in your \windows directory, it could save you a hard reset someday if any of them get corrupted along the way

[Q] Fonts problem

My system fonts (especially balloon tips, info and contacts) look terribly thin. I have noticed that in the windows/fonts folder I've only got digital_.tiff file. Is that all I should have in this folder? Help appreciated.
Look this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=664717
Thanks for the link, but I've already seen the post. It's no use. Can anyone confirm the number of font files in the windows/fonts folder?

i have 4 more except digital...
I've got a problem then. Somehow there is only one type of font in the folder and I don't really know what to do about it
i can send you the others if u want..unless u want to hard reset..
I'd be grateful for the other font files as I reconfigured the whole system a couple of days ago and I suspect that one of the files or programes I installed messed up my fonts.
try this

Thanks again, but the original files would help me more, I guess.
ok..here they are
Thank you very much ! I really appreciate. It has partly solved my problem.
you are welcome..let me know if i can solve the other part of your problem

how to open data.img

I know this has been asked before but I am kind of stuck I need to access my old data.img as it became corrupt however I have tried unyaffs.exe but it crashes I want to find out what my other options are.
Thanks,
yonu
You could try this program....ext2explore
data.img is not a yaffs image, it's an ext image. You'll need a linux box to edit it reliably.
thanks ext2 worked great I thougt I was suppose to be using the other one.
dumb question I found the files I needed but I can't seem to find the proper location on the phone to put them back they can from the root data in the img files so where should i put them back?
I found it was looking in the wrong place
Edit I was wrong
Sorry to be a pain I fouond it I broke down and used droid explorer to upload the files
ok stupid question as I went to run the program I was putting the databases for and found out that when i deleted and copied the files back over in droidexplorer it really isn't deleting the files. Anyone know of a fix?
Thanks

[Q] How to get app sound?

Hi. I'm new here and i don't know if i'm posting this in the right place. I got the motorola milestone and got this app called scruff, when someone message you on there it plays a beautiful notification sound and i really want that sound as my main notification sound. i tried root explorer but i couldn't find the sound as a file.
Can you point me to the right direction? i'm sure theres has to be in somewhere but i don't know where exactly. If someone coulp help me i'd really aprecciate it!
Thanks in advance!!!
The required files are attached. You will have to convert them to ogg format and push it into /system/media/audio/notifications or create the same file structure ( media/audio/notifications ) on the sdcard and copy them there.
Thank you soooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Q] Help Signing and making an app work

Hey guys, I've been up since around 6 am working on this theme for the stock AOSP music app and I don't really care how it's applied as long as it is. So I've edited all the .png's but want to know how to apply them.. I tried zipping it back up and as stupid as this sounds, I can't get it out of a zip format. it just gets saved as Music.zip.apk. Any help would be appreciated!
Copy the original APK with a new name.
Open the new APK with 7zip or something like that.
Drop the edited files back to their folder (res/draw-hdpi or something like that). Allow overwriting the original files.
Sign the APK (using apkmanager, for example, if you think it's too complicated to set up the signing environment that allows doing it from right clicking the file).
Alright thanks man!
