Hi there,
Hope you can help me...
Since i bought my Cruise, I flashed it to the newest ROM version of HTC and it automatically installed SPL 3.13 with.
The problem is that if I want to install the WM 6.5 rom, I have to "Downgrade" My SPL version from 3.13.0000 to 2.20.
I followed the steps explained by "Olipro", but when the upgrade starts, RUU kills activesync (seems to be normal) and when the phone normally reboots in bootloader mode (like when you flash a new rom), nothing happens. The phone didn't shutdown and tries to establish a new USB connection !
I tried to turn manually the phone in bootloader mode on to force the SPL update, but the % bar stays at 0 and RUU returns a communication error (262).
I tried also to install the wm 6.5 rom without install SPL 2.2, but it crashes (stays @ 0% too)
I don't know how to install this stinky version of HARD SPL.
Heeeellllpppp !!
NOTE : I tried with or without µSd, does the same thing.
Thx
hmm try disabling firewall and antivirus one of them may be blocking the connection. Thats my only thought about it.
Thank you for the answer but it don't work...
Nobody can help me ?
Try to extract the files from the newest htc rom to a new folder, and then copy the "RUU_Signed.nbh" from the SPL V2 folder to the extracted files (to the new folder) and run the "ROMUpdateUtility.exe" from the extracted files (from the new folder).
nope ...
Please, consider my asks...
I know there is necessarily a solution but I have not yet found.
I don't know where/why it is crashing.
What does the HTC need to downgrade the hardspl ?
Is there a protection that can't be bypassed with the 3.13 ?
The only thing that I can do atm, is flashing the official HTC rom (useless ^^).
The actual version of my rom is :
_HTC Touch Cruise_RUU_Polaris_HTC_FRA_3.13.406.0_radio_sign_25.85.30.07_1.59.42.15_Ship
Thanking you in advance...

HSPL 3.13? In this ROM is ver. 3.13 drivers, not HSPL... If you have original ROM and you dont install Olipros HPSL, you have original HTC SPL...
When I enter bootloader mode, the HSPL version is : 3.13.0000
Of course it's the original htc HSPL.
The problem is that I can't downgrade it to the olipro's version : 2.20.
Did you try it on other PC?
2 PCs, 2 USB cables..
The official rom upgrade works fine, I dont think that the problem comes from the computer.
definite guide:
1. establish a connection with activesync via usb (orbit2 to pc)
2. start the romupdateutility provided in hardspl folder.
3. before it starts flashing, you need to also follow on-screen instructions on orbit2!!! execute jump-spl and stuff: click yes on orbit2!!
4. when the orbit2 states: Replug USB. you need to plug the usb-cable once off and then put it back to connect to your pc.
5. it starts flashing and restarts after its done.
Hi Manaaa,
I don't know what is jumpslp ??
I found it on the web (xda..), copied it in my "my documents" folder, ran it but it asks me a jump address (default is 0x00000000) and an spl (*nb) file..
What is jump spl ? What is the address to jump to? and where can I find the *nb file ?
In the olipro's hspl folder is only a *nbh file.
Thank you
I wouldn't recommend using a jump spl for our phones if there isn't one in the Hardspl Pack then one is not needed to be run.
Personally im still really confused by this so if i get it straight.
You are synced with activesync.
Run the file for Hardspl Run RomUpdateUtility.exe
Then go though. It switches off activesync.
Then what?? Exactly Does it ask you to replug the cable? Do you get the rom flash screen (with %) at all??
Also i dont think that spl flashes can be run from the booloader as it has to be a modded bootloader (jumpspl if you will), loaded by the program to be able to flash the new hardspl.
Also i know very little on this, this is as much as i understand it to be.

Normally, after killing activesync, the phone turns into bootloader mode. Mine stays in winCE and tries to establish new usb connection...
I also decided to force manually bootloader mode and killing activesync by myself.
I ran RUU again, it first checked the phone state (such as battery >50%, connectivity...)
CHECK : OK
Next step, by clicking "NEXT" on the RUU interface, the phone turns in "% mode" and the update starts but stays at 0%.
After a while, RUU returns an update error (such as 262).
Noway to flash hardSPL :'-( , v3.13 seems to be "write protected".
ERROR [262] : UPDATE ERROR
This error occurs during the CE ROM code upgrade process. If this happens, you can just soft reset the device and run RUU again. The update process will then continue. At this stage the rom on the device is incomplete and it will not boot back up into Windows. You will need to place it into the bootloader to continue.

That is what error 262 is but really dont see why this happens either. And since you can boot into windows its not much help.
So it just wont go to flash it when you click it through, hmm
Your last resort would be to PM cmonex as she will have helped make this with oilpro. Ask and see if she can shed some light on this one. Maybe something has gone wrong somewhere (quite likely) that we don't know how to fix.
Stupid question but have you tried downloading, unzipping it again? May have been a bad dl... or unzip
Have tested it with about 10# DLs...
I PM'd Olipro, waiting for a response now
Flash back to HardSPL and don't Re-Plug
Hi Pixel,
Herewith are guide for you
1) Flash back to HardSPL and don't re-plug until end of session (5 minutes)
2) Flash back to original SPL 3.13 on this post . This original SPL for HTC Touch Cruise only
3) After you do this you cannot flash with other Cooked ROM or Shipped ROM
with different ID, unless you flash back to HardSPL
Good Luck my friend
I have exactely in the same configuration as Pixel69 with the same result.
I've tried to an other PC without any change.
Has somebody any idea?
Just had an idea what OS are you running to do it?
If its not 7 may not be fully compatible... Shot in the dark really
HTC HD2 now has hspl on it tried to update rom i start the image update gets about half way, then syas

When you enter Bootloader mode, just to be sure, what is shown for the SPL version?
You need HSPL 1.42.0000 on your device in order to flash successfully.
You must also flash a Radio version next and not a custom ROM version.
1. Download your required Radio and rename the extracted file to RUU_Signed.nbh
2. Sync your phone with the PC
3. Run CustomRUU.exe from the Radio's Folder and follow the instructions (if one isnt included then download it here)
don't instal from sd card.why would you?
instal hspl, flash rom/radio using usb,job done.

just to un confuse that statement, you need it too say in boot loader
spl 1.42.HSPL
and NOT
spl 1.42.0000
this is what im stuck with i cant boot the phone, to get it to sync with the pc
What error code do you receive when it fails to flash?
Try the following:
1. Download orginal ROM from HTC.com
2. Remove HTC Battery
3. Remove SD-Card
3. Connect the Phone via USB to Computer
4. Start-up the phone in Bootloader mode wuth the Tree-color screen
5. If everything is right, in the bottom you will see USB
6. Start-up the update on your computer (ROM you've downloaded from htc.com)
7. Run the Update
8. Your phone should now boot after it installs
9. Place the battery and SD-Card back in the Phone
If that works, first flash to a Radio version from the link specified above (in post #2), and then you can flash to a custom ROM.

No need to sync with the pc, provided when connected to the pc it shows usb at the bottom of that screen you can still flash.
just got home, on my pc just managed to change my radio got to be something wrong with the girlfriends laptop keep you posted and thank you so much for helping me folks
guys i love you so much you just saved my life thank you so much all sorted now. next time i will be more carefull
So....i had read the thread and installed HSPL on my phone before i attempted to used a cooked rom, having tried to install my first one i find now i have the 'white triangle of death with upside down exclamation mark'.
I am on T-Mobile in the UK and i do not want to brick this beyond all repair..what is the procedure i should do now to get it working..i beleive i need to format a SD card to fat32 but which rom do i put on it and then what is the button press sequence..i have no connection via active sync anymore.
phone off - hold "volume down" - tap power whilst still holding volume down - phone will boot to bootloader (three stripes)
what does it say next to spl?
if
1.42.0000 then hspl isn't installed. what rom did you flash and how?
if says 1.42.HSPL then hspl is installed, plug in usb, wait for "serial" to become "usb" and flash your rom again from usb.
Thanks...
1.42.HSPL is what it says, it also says lower down 'upgrade ROM code error please try again' which i did do several times through the .exe on the rom i tried to upgrade to which i believe was TOUCH_X_TREME_21895_1_2_36_47, im not to sure whether the rom is compatible for me or even what i done wrong, i was relying on the fact that i had installed HSPL prior to trying to flash the new rom, i can confirm that the phone changes to 'usb' when i plug it in on the tri colour screen...so when you say try to flash the rom again what exact method do i use..when i tried the first time i just run the .exe file in the rom folder and followed the prompts
EDIT: having just followed what you said...i run the rom .exe file and followed through recovery and it says error 'error 302 update error'...what if the rom i am flashing is NOT compatible.
Why don't you first try to flash back a stock rom that you can download from http://www.4shared.com/dir/22189940/b8552fa0/Shipped_Leo_ROMs.html ?
Choose preferably a 1.48 rom.
Anyway, you'd better read the "flashing for noobs" thread in ROM dev forum before you go and do something even worse. You're probably trying to flash a corrupt file or something alike.
get the T-Mobile ROM from HTCs website, boot into the bootloader and connect and flash the stock ROM...that should at least get you working again
yea as above.sounds like a bad download or something. try a different rom or re download.
be aware the rom you are flashing needs a certain radio, so when it does flash it still won't boot till you flash the correct radio.(it's all in thefirst posts of the rom thread)
you have hspl installed so as long as you only flash by usb you are safe. just boot to bootloader, run the instal from the pc, phone will flash

Have done this..still not flashing, keeps giving update error, as i said..i have no active sync connection and it states that is needed ?...so how do i flash the rom ? also when you asked me to go to the tri colour screen and read off the HSPL part, on the green section it says 'upgrade ROM code error please try again'..is this normal in this state
Why am i getting this error when i try to flash it via usb...comuter still recognises phone but active sync does not connect to it so i am assuming this is causing the error ?
So when you go into the bootloader and plug in the USB does it say USB on the phone screen? If so, you also need to run the updater as an administrator. If this doesn't work, try another PC. If that doesn't work then you may very well have bricked it.
Also, are you using ActiveSync or WMDC?

Yes it changes to USB when i plug it in, i am using WMDC but when i plug the phone in it does not connect anymore, i have tried running as admin but it makes no difference, i keep getting error 302.
Correct me if i am wrong, i thought the idea of installing HSPL would keep me safe from bricking the phone, i think all i initially done was flash an incorrect rom, ill try it on my laptop but that has not been in contact with the phone yet
What OS is on your laptop? if it's Windows 7 just plug in your phone and it will automatically WMDC so you don't need to install it first
Laptop done the trick !..seems to be doing the job now...dont know what the hell thats all about...
Would be helpful if knew what radio i had on it...and do i install rom first, then install radio ?
ActiveSync or WDMC wont recognise the device as the phone has not fully booted up.
With the phone in boot-loader mode and connected by USB, then run the ROM installation program. Ignore the fact that it says you must be ActiveSynced. Just tick the box and go into the next page.
As been said already, make sure you install the correct RADIO rom for the customised ROM. Once that is done, then you can install the ROM.
The best ROMs to download are ZIP'd or RAR'd ones, as they have a check that they have not been corrupted when uploaded or downloaded.
Well this is highly weird !!...i restored the Tmo dump from htc website but i now have the rom on there that i was trying to install previously before i bricked it...Touch X treme
What radio are you trying to flash? Read this and use this to flash the phone with the radio needed for your ROM choice:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=644781
Once done, try flashing the phone again (I'd make sure HSPL is on the phone too)

So find out what radio i need before flashing, what if the radio i need to flash is not for the currant rom i am using...and am i right to say that some of these roms i cant use as they are not for the UK ?
All radios can be used, you can get them on their own and use with that link I posted before. going by the Touch X thread it says you need a 2.07 or 2.08 radio so get one of them and flash that first before flashing the ROM
I understand that better now...still not sure what went wrong there, from the laptop i thought and still do that i was flashing the stock rom for tmo from the htc website to restore the phone...but when it started up i was shocked to see the splash screen for the Xtreme rom..maybe i flashed that ?? if so why did it work this time..bad flash before ? and i have certainly not installed a radio myself...well thaks for your help anyway..the phone is up and running again and i will make sure HSPL is still there before i try my next rom
Likely bad flash - glad you're sortred now though. I always do the task29 with the radio nI want to use before flashing a ROM now to make sure the memory is clear...
How To Install A NAND Android ROM On Your T-Mobile HD2
(I am linking to several Original Threads in this tutorial. The "Nice Thing To Do" is hit the "Thanks" button at the bottom of those threads to let the author know we appreciate their help)
mskip wrote an excellent tut over on the Leo forums. I used his instructions to create my own method, which has never given me issues.
My method has been used by others and has a 100% success rate as of this writing.
You MUST be HSPL'd. This is not a joke. If you attempt this method without HSPL, your phone won't boot. I can not help you if you do this. If you have the 3.14 radio, try flashing: this stock ROM before HSPL. Thanks to xmoo for the link! Original thread is here.
Read the following steps. If you're confused, read the explanations below.
(Preparing)
Folder: Create a new folder on your Desktop. I named mine Flash. Put all downloads here.
HSPL: Cotulla's HSPL 3 is located here. (Original thread is here)
Task29: Download the Task29.exe program located here. Unzip it to a new folder. Replace the RUU_Signed.nbh file with your favorite radio. I use 2.15.50.14 (Original thread is here)
MAGLDR: Get MAGLDR 1.11 (or the latest version!) located here. Unzip this to a new folder.
ROM: Visit HD2 NAND Android Development thread here on XDA and download your new ROM. I am currently using this one, but will probably have a different one tomorrow Unzip this to a new folder.
SD Card: Back up everything you want to keep from your SD card, and then format it. Hint: dcim is where your pictures are stored (File System: Fat32, Allocation unit size: 16 kilobytes) Personally, I like to uncheck the "Quick format"; it takes up to an hour but ensures my card is in the best shape possible. Once your format is complete, you may replace your backed up files.
(Flashing)
(*Optional: Remove your SD and SIM cards, if you are paranoid, like me )
Connect your phone via USB to the PC and wait for any drivers to install.
Task29: Navigate to the Task29 folder and right-click on task29.exe and "Run as administrator". Your phone will reboot to the initial flash screen. You will have to reset to Bootloader.
Wait for your PC to update the drivers again.
MAGLDR: Navigate to the MAGDLR folder and right-click on ROMUpdateUtility.exe and "Run as administrator". Your phone will reboot to a new boot screen.
Wait for your PC to update the drivers again.
You should be booted to the new MAGLDR screen and see a series of options. Use your volume rocker to highlight "USB Flash" and press the green call button to select it.
Wait for your PC to update the drivers again.
ROM: Navigate to your new ROM folder and right-click DAF.exe and "Run as administrator".
Congratulations! When your phone reboots, it should start MAGLDR which will immediately boot your new Android NAND ROM!
Now, here are the details about the above instructions. You should only need them if you are confused.
(Preparing)
I use this to keep myself organized. I own several HTC phones and flash them all, so keeping things separate is a must for me.
Having a Hard Secondary Program Loader is a must for any NAND flash, whether it be Windows Mobile or Android. This will void your T-Mobile warranty, but can be fixed by flashing a Stock T-Mobile ROM via your microSD card. Check my sig for the tutorial link on how to do that.
This is the easiest method to do a task 29. The other is using mtty, which is beyond the scope of this tutorial. Task29 completely erases the existing files and partitions, preventing any loose data bits from causing issues with a new flash. You should always Task29 between NAND ROMs.
MAGLDR: A group of devs have been working on a NAND loader for some time and Cotulla and the Dark Forces Team (DAF) were the first to release a working loader. There may be more to come in the future, but this is the first (and has Tetris built in )
You should never ask the "best ROM for my phone" question. Every chef works hard on their build and considers it the best. Every user has their favorite chef and considers them the best. You should shop around to find the one that fits you best.
I consider formatting the SD card a must if I have any data written to it by a ROM. If you have installed Android to your card, you definitely want to do this!
(Flashing)
Your phone will boot into several different modes throughout the process. Each mode may require separate drives for WMDC to talk to it.
To reset to your bootloader, pull the battery and replace it. Hold down the "Volume Down" rocker and press the power (End Call) button. The phone should boot up to the tri-color screen. If it did not, keep trying!
Your PC may not need to search for drivers at this point, but wait and see anyway, just in case
MAGDLR will work as your new bootloader, but you can always access the original tri-color bootloader if you need to.
Don't worry if you get the missing "ADB" driver warning here. Only PCs with the Android SDK properly installed will have this driver.
You must flash your new ROM from the #4 screen via USB. It is the only way and the tri-color Bootloader method won't work here.
Again, you can ignore the missing "ADB" driver if it occurs. See above x2 for explanation.
Some chefs are renaming "DAF.exe" to "Install.exe" or "ANDR_INSTALL.exe". No matter what it's named, it should be the blue icon. See your ROM thread for detailed installation instructions if you get confused here.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the plethora of information. In this case, it wasn't needed but most of the time it is
Error 262 means there is a link error between your phone and the PC. Some have solved this by re-installing ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center. Some people said it was solved by simply unplugging the phone and trying a different USB port or cable.

It looks like the Android build you chose is either incompatible or was somehow corrupted when you downloaded it.
I suggest you delete the copy you have on your PC and download a different ROM, and then start over again.
Since there was an error, you don't want to try a fresh install without a task 29 and reinstalling hspl.
If you are using the Euro version of the HD2, don't try to install a TMOUS ROM, and vice versa. If you aren't sure, ask the chef who posted the ROM you want.
Hope this helps!

One thing that was specified but not in the steps was HSPL. If you don't have that, you can't flash.
After having a bit of problem using the original tut you reference in your first post(basically it got locked on gogogo and a variety of problems thereafter), I am very happy to report that your variation on the method not only worked for me, but worked on the first attempt. And it has thus far done so each time I have tried it since. You cannot imagine my relief after all the frustration I had previously. So just wanted to let you know how helpful I found your post. Thanks!
The only edit I would suggest is that I believe USB Flashing is option 5 now instead of 4.
FWIW I was originally on ROM 2.13.531.1 (90963) WWE with Radio 2.10.50.26(now on 2.14.50.04).

I just tried a fresh download of MAGLDR 1.11 and the option is still #4. Did you perchance grab version 1.12?
It would still work, but 1.12 gives you the additional option of installing and Windows 7 Phone ROM.
Yes on MAGLDR the option is 5 instead of 4.
Other than that, and the part about removing your sim and SD card, looks like an excellent guide.

I am updating the tutorial to reflect on the changing menu numbers, thank you!
As far as the SIM and SD card removal, I did mention that this is optional but recommended. Yes, I realize that this is from the early days of flashing and is more than likely not needed, but in my defense this is my own method and I have never, ever had a bad flash. I've owned several HTC phones going back for a few years now and have not bricked a single one. I would consider that a pretty good track record, considering the number of posters who did brick their phone and have no idea what went wrong.
In light of your input, I will re-word the OT to ensure that the "optional" part is clarified.
Oh I totally hear ya.
I've never had a bad flash either. I think that some of the "Brickensteins" just do something wrong and don't mention it (like unplugging the phone mid-flash).
In your favor, I did read in one of the WP7 tutorials that the sd card should be removed, but since I don't plan on flashing that any time soon, I'll leave that wisdom with wiser hands
Thank you very much

Ok do this hold the volume button down while powering on your HD2 and see if the multicolor bootloader screen comes up. If so you are not fubared. If you get bootloader you can save your HD2. Click on my Guide linked in my sig and read it then click the links at the top of my guide if you want to install Android or the link for WP7 if you want to install it. The links I have at the top of my guide are links to very good and extensive guide. If you want come post back here and I or others will help you and if you want to just PM me.

You are using MAGLDR 1.13, not 1.11. On 1.13 (not covered by this tutorial), you have to choose "ROMUpdateUtility.exe", not "DAF.exe".
Since I am a noob have patient with my stupidity!
That said
I have a
Trophy with Bootloader
PC40100
SPL- 4.6.2250-0 (129185) MNG
OS 7.10.7720.68
Firmware 2250.21.40600.401`
Radio: 5.69.09.05a
I have read all the threads by ansar and it just made me more confused.
I upgraded to "RUU_Spark_S_HTC_Europe_5.10.401.06_5.69.09_RELEASE med internet sharing", so I thought maybe I could "jailbreak the phone since It costed 370 dollars"
and followed Ansar "SPL ROM to downgrade 5.10.x Bootloader "
I just got stock on 0% when I flashed a custom file "RUU_Spark_HTC_Europe_4.06.401.01_Radio_5.69.09.05a_22.50.50.21U_Mango_7720_custom_by_ansar"
SO I tried the whole DFT w7p2 but no RSPL or HPSL where to be installed. Bootloader showed I had 1.10.5 but DFT supported 1.10.4
I couldnt get out of it so I flashed back to STOCK version "RUU_Spark_S_HTC_Europe_4.06.401.00_5.69.09_RELEASE"
I noticed the bootloader was changed to SPL 4.06
MY question is WHAT am I doing wrong??
Since I am a noob keep your answers really basic!
Please help!
Kind regards from Sweden
Really...
....No one out there has a tips/hints
Well
Can someone at least explain what I have to do to "sideload" my Trophy?Bootloader?!
What do you need to do? step by step?!
DFT v2?
RSPL?
Custom firmware?
Problem SOLVED!!
Problem Solved!
(Please observe I assume that you know what you are doing and know the basic stuff regarding the phone, I am just a beginner like you)
Please remember all this will erase everything you have on the phone.(back it up)
You need the following:
-MircoUSB cable(for connecting the phone to computer)
-Zune installed on your computer (BUT DON’T RUN IT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES) (you need zune for installing Modem drivers on your computer)
-Windows Phone Developer Tools installed on your computer (for deploying /sending software to the phone when you are done jailbreaking it) I will get back to you on how to put apps on your phone the “Sideload” way
My phone has PC40100 and SPL 5.10 (so in theory it is not possible to install Cooked firmware)
What I did was the following:
1. Put the phone into Boot (hold down volume down and power at the same me when the phone starts it is like IOS DFU nothing major happens. Now you can see tri color (red, green and blue) on the white/bottom of the screen you can read “serial”)
2. Connect the phone to the Computer using your USB cable , and if you hear a you’re your computer you know it is connected to computer and your “serial” changes to “USB” on your phone
3 Downgrade the phone with RUU_Spark_HTC_Europe_5.10.401.06_SLSPL_Signed_by_ansar (search it on the forum)
4. Now the phone restarts into tricolor /DFU and nothing more happens , it is not dead just needs to be programmed (if you do nothing it will eventually reboots and windows phone starts, don’t do that it is just a waste of time, keep it in boot)
5. Choose the STOCK (stock means the released original firmware by HTC/Microsoft ) version of windows phone RUU_Spark_HTC_Europe_1.10.401.04_Spark_5.52.09_RELEASE (search it here on the forum) the 1.10.401.04 works fine with the jailbreak tool from DFT (dark force team)
6 . Install the stock version it will downgrade your phone from SPL 5.10 (SPL stands for the original boot of the phone ) to SPL 1.10.401 this is what you want
7. when it is done your phone will start and it looks fine but if you check the system in settings you will find that it is SPL 1.10.401 and the multitasking is gone.
8. REMEMBER DON’T connect the phone to Zune it will just update it and ruin everything
9. Now you need install RSPL /HSPL on your phone to be able to install cooked firmware (cooked means someone else like Ansar(a user here) has done all the work and removed the locks in the original firmware and made it easy for you and me to install software on the phone which is called by the way “sideload”)
10. DFT (dark force team has a jailbreak for boot which makes it possible to install cooked firmware)
11. Search and download DFT_XSPL_WP7FG1
12. You need to install RSPL first to be able to use HSPL (HSPL is more permanently like untethered jailbreak in IOS)
13. Put the phone again into BOOT mode (with tri colors) and connect it to the computer and run DFT_RSPL_WP7FG1_LAUNCH from your computer (just follow the onscreen instruction from DFT teams software and choose 1.10.401 it is imperative that you choose this for this jailbreak to work)
14. when it is done you will see RSPL on the screen of your phone (you are actually done here if you don’t want to lose your warranty but I doubt you have some left if you do GOOD for you , RSPL is reversible but HSPL is not)
15, in my case I went ahead and installed HSPL just to be safe it works , cause RSPL disappears when the phone is shut down. I just installed HSPL when the word RSPL showed on my phone but it is optional if you want that or not.
16. From where you see RSPL/HSPL it means your phone is ready for COOKED firmare NOT original/stock firmware REMEMBER THAT installing stock/original firmware will brick/destroy your phone, every page in this site says it DON’T push your luck
17.Install any Cooked firmware from Ansar (a user named ansar look him up and don’t forget to thank him for all this work) for instance HTC_Europe_5.12.401.06_Radio_5.69.09.05a_22.50.50. 21U_NT_Mango_8107_22L_TU_by_ansar (which is the latest )
Remember if you have any question I will be more than happy to help but I am just a beginner, you should ask Ansar directly here.
DISCLAIMER you do all this on your own risk.
Break a leg!!
This thread should be moved to the Development forum for Trophy (Spark). The name of the thread should be renamed to something like "[HOWTO] Downgrade bootloader for Spark GSM to use DFT."
Many seem to use the Goldcard method on Spark GSM, but I wonder if anyone else can use this guide.

Thanks for the feedback but I cant post messages in the Development forums since I am noob.
You are more than welcome to move the thread whereever you see fit.
I hope some people find it helpfull.
You need a particular number of post before you can post in dev forums. Just go around helping people and you'll get that number quickly (that's what I did).
once again thanks =)
works for spl 5.12 in my case
Hi! just did this to downgrade from SPL 5.12.?
Works apparently, my phone is now HSPL
W8ing 4 Ansar's latest ROM to download over this #$%#$%&"&"#$!" Rapidshare :]
It'll take till morning the way this downloads (it's 1:13 am here in Slovenia....)
I'm just trying this.. I hope it works.
Not working in my case (SPL 5.12.2250) . Get an error while downgading spl "invalid vendor ID"
