hi guys i need some help removin orange application off my htc pro 2 i have a 3 network sim in it but all 3 features r not coming up in it my htc touch pro 2 is originally from orange so all there programs are on it but i need advice on how to remove it and make it generic to all sim cards any help would be appreciated

Just wanted to know if anyone has got this phone through the 3 UK network.
I know there would be a few people interested (including myself) if someone could upload the 3 ext ROM to the ftp.

I'm almost certain that 3 never did the Universal in the UK.
Therefore no 3 ROM.
But you can go on any network with any ROM (e.g. I use Orange's Radio ROM with O2's main ROM on O2-UK.)
3 do the Qtek version. I dont know if it is branded 3 though - go and look in your local 3 shop and report back!

So the answer is yes the rom must be about I for one would love to get a hold of the rom, as I am actually a 3 Network user and prefer my old O2 XDA EXEC so come on, lets find it!
3 definately have it in the Uk.

It is branded as the qtek 9000 but i'm hoping that they have a 3 customised extended rom. Would like to have a look and hopefully port some of those cabs onto my unlocked TyTN that i'm using on 3.

What are you hoping to achieve from this rom? The 3 content which you normally get by pressing the triangle button on 3 phones?
Already managed to get access using opera browser or by changing user agent on IE.
Just wanted to get my hands on a 3 uk ext. ROM to see what's in it, and perhaps use it on my TyTN that i'm using on 3.

I am still looking for the rom for the 3 network, as yes I do like the planet 3 triangle software addition) I am still running my XDA EXEC on an O2 sim, it is unlocked and would cope with the 3 sim, however without the goodies of a three network phone I wouldnot get the benefits of the network, So come on... can anybody provide the rom for 3?????

I have an custom rom universal, but also have the default stock "3" rom on my kaiser, haven't changed it yet, is there an application that will download the rom from the device?

And I have a dual sime adapter working without problems, but I would like to know if there is a program that can switch automatically between both sim cards.
One sim card is for UMTS and for an ms exchange server because the data prices are very low
and the other one is from T-Mobile for phone and sms
So is there a programm that switches i.e. every 15 min?

pls share which dual sim you have and where you purchased it?
check the attached SIM switch today plugin, I am unsure if it changes automatically as I do not have dual sim adapter...

I recently purchased an MDA Touch Plus (HTC Touch Dual) locked to T-Mobile - I am currently waiting for oli to send me the unlocking took after paying the £5 so can't do a lot at the moment obviously, but just so I am prepared I thought i'd ask.
Now, ultimately, I intend to use this phone on O2 Simplicity, but for the next couple of months i'm on 3 mobile still.
Can I use this phone on 3 mobile straight away or do I need to change anything? I have heard people say it can't be used on 3 mobile but others say it works fine, http://www.johnwordsworth.com/blog/ says he used a TyTnII on 3 with no problems but he downloaded 3.cab from here - what is this 3.cab and what does it do? Do I need one for the Dual?

Once you have unlocked it you would need to gain a cab for whatever service provider you are intending on using, the cab will contain important settings enabaling mms, text, gprs setting for that network provider. my device was locked to orange after unlocking i simply installed the t-mobile cab i found on this forum and was able to use the services i needed, hope this helps.
Anyone know where I can find the 3 Mobile (UK) .cab for the Dual? I have had a look but it is difficult to search for '3' to be honest.
How do I debrand the Dual so it doesn't have the T-Mobile icons, such as Web n Walk etc?

I've used a Touch Dual on 3UK since before Christmas - works fine for me. The only thing that doesn't work is 3's own pages, i.e. their music store, TV, etc etc but that's not a problem for me personally.
Hi all. Question: I bought a HTC Touch Pro locked to Alltel. I bought it off of eBay from Gazelle (seller). Question: I will unlock it for it to use my T-Mo Sim card, what version of HTC Network Wizard do I need to install to set all of the connections up? Can I use the same one as I used on HTC P4351?
