Bluetooth and hero rom - myTouch 3G, Magic General

Can someone tell me if they know of any of the hero roms having fully working bt ie headset for in call? Im a lorry driver so need this but I want a hero rom so bad!

My bluetooth headset does not work
myhero 1.1.2 (for 32a)
about bluetooth headset, some works and some doesn't.
my headset can connect and looks working, but I don't hear the sound.
SonyEricsson HBH-DS220
Somehow, I like Cynanogen 4.1.11. It is already Android 1.6 donut bese and quite stable.

HBH-DS205
Music works but Calls do not work, media controls works as well
Using MyHero 1.1.1, will it make a diff if i switch over to 1.1.2?

using qtek
connection works. in call it does not work

on myhero 1.1.2 music works just fine as well as the music controls, but taking calls is just distorted and freaky. this is on a Philips SHB 6110/10

1.5/Cupcake HSP (Phone) Bluetooth Problem -- any suggestions?

So... I've been very hesitant to post this here.
I originally updated to the Haykuro sapphire port some two weeks ago; I have since then tried the "Dude" mod, and the JF ADP 1.5 mod as well.
They all have exactly this same problem: My Lubix LC1 stereo bluetooth headset no longer works properly with the G1. The phone //says// it is connected with both the A2DP (music) and the HSP (phone) protocols; and the A2DP connection works perfectly. But the HSP connection is essentially non-existent, despite the phone saying it is connected under "Bluetooth Settings".
When I try to call someone w/ the phone, the audio is routed to and from the phone itself. There is no way to route the call to the bluetooth headset at all. This problem has persisted through all three versions; I have flashed and re-flashed, etc.
I have gone through two LC1 bluetooth headsets (a mishap with a rather large, rather bored dog.) They both behave in exactly this same way.
The bluetooth is working w/ my wife's Jabra 855 headset. And it worked perfectly fine in the 1.1 and 1.0 firmwares.
So... what's the deal? I'm not enough of a "computer-person" to know how to hack this myself, but if there were a way to port the 1.1 firmware's bluetooth profile to the 1.5 software, that would be awesome.
Much as it's nice to listen to music through the G1, that's not useful at the expense of the headset.
Is my only choice, if I want the 1.5/cupcake firmware, to //REALLY// purchase a new bluetooth headset thanks to the reversion/breaking caused by the Cupcake update itself?
Please help!
each new major upgrade version also comes with a matching radio firmware.
you only upgraded the system image - leaving the device unsynced with the radio image. Its a known issue. once you will upgrade your radio image most of your problem will go away.
radio image for Cupcake 1.5 can be downloaded from official HTC website.
No, I updated the radio. It had no effect on this problem whatsoever. I've done a clean downgrade/upgrade with each of the various 1.5 mods.
This is a problem with the 1.5 software. Even w/ the 1.5's radio and the JF 1.42 mod the LC1 worked perfectly.
No Devices Found
I have the most recent firmware, baseband, etc, but when I search for devices, it never finds any Bluetooth Devices.
Silly question -- but have you been putting those devices into pairing mode?
I am having the same exact problem with my BlueAnt V1 bluetooth headset. With the latest 1.5 builds across the board with the exception of the UK version that released a week ago I cannot use my bluetooth headset at all. It goes through the pairing as normal and shows connected (I even get the jazzy blue outline in the dial screen) but no audio to the headset what so ever same with my Car kit. What changed in the latest builds to the bluetooth profile?
you are not alone, same problem here with German G1 and Cupcake. It does pair with my navigation system and/or Motorola HF800. My navigation system can access the phone, read phone book and dial - but I do have no sound. Incoming calls do ring on the navigation system/headset, but if I pick up the call there is no audio connection. Any idea what to do?
Actually I consider to root and flash e.g. JF firmware hoping that this will bring any change. On the other site I am afraid that this is just waste of time and risk. Strange thing is that there are obvioulsy not many people with same problem, though they do exist and report same problem in various forums.
I have the same exact problem as well. My car radio has bluetooth HSP and A2DP. The A2DP works perfectly but when I dial a call, the HSP doesn't work. However, when I receive a call, it works. Also, I discovered if I disconnect the A2DP profile in the bluetooth settings on the phone, HSP works correctly.
opposite problem- HSP good but A2DP no good
I have the opposite problem as testing567. Phone shows it is paired for voice and media and so does my car (2009 Mazda6). AFAIK when I select AUX on my stereo; it should automatically start the music player on the phone, but it doesn't. When I manually open Music and play a song; it does not output on the phone's speaker nor the car stereo. Weird thing is that when the song is playing; the progress bar shows it playing very fast like it is skipping every 2-3 seconds. As soon as I turn the car off and the bluetooth disconnects; the song automatically resumes playing through the phone's speaker at a normal speed. I do not have another bluetooth audio device to test this with, so I am not sure if it is the car or the phone. No problems with bluetooth phonecalls. My cupcake is the official OTA release and as far as I can tell the radio is up to date (Baseband Version 62.50S.20.17H_2.2219.26I).
Im having the same problems, my bluetooth is paired and when i get a call my bluetooth rings, if i press it once to answer it goes straight to the phone, but if i press it twice i get the audio on my bluetooth. It sucks that you have to press twice just to be able to use your bluetooth. (Try it. Pair your Bluetooth, call yourself with another phone, and answer it by pressing twice on your bluetooth answer button.)
I had the same issue exactly as you describe.
I downloaded the 1.5 Radio version off HTC's website and everything works again

Smiffy.

what's your radio (baseband) version?
mine is Baseband Version 62.50S.20.17H_2.22.19.26I and it takes 5-10 minutes for my already-paired parrot evo 3k to connect when my car turns on.

Bluetooth handsfree problem

Has anyone got any suggestions regarding the following problem:
HTC Tattoo (UK Orange but flashed with stock ROM)
Nolia CK-1W Bluetooth in-car handsfree kit with Telemute harness(sound through car stereo)
Phone paired with system and connects perfectly every time I get in the car.
Outgoing calls work perfectly.
Incoming calls - mutes music on stereo, rings over stereo, pickup via phone or handsfree remote button NO SOUND from caller(though I can hear them on the phone speaker).
Seems to me that it's either a bug in the Bluetooth implementation on the phone or a setting I havent found. (It works fine with my Nokia E51)
Any ideas?
Thanks
Hi...!
I have the same Problems with my Nissan Car Headset from Factory with Android 2.1 and 2.2...! Similar Problems are with the HTC Wildfire and HTC Desire
I can connect the phone with the System, Phonebook reading, take calls and arrive calls but i cant hear anything (on both sides)
With my original Tattoo Rom 1.6 its working perfect and Audio Streaming too...
according to the German HTC Support the problem is well known and they are working to fix the problem... but i cant find other Android users with the same Problems except you

Motorola S7
Motorola S605
Controlls and calls working on
mattc Leo + Froyo w/Sense RC1.2
with zxing player
motorola s7
can't pair
using mattc Leo + Froyo w/Sense RC1.2
Jabra BT8040 (A2DP built-in for music) = able to answer call and talk (no more background noise on other side).
No more background noise with Wire Headset also
will try Blueant Z9 mono again tonight. Have tried it last night, but android hang, and force to close something "com.phone" thing
Updated: Jabra BT8040 doesn't seem to work anymore. I don't know why it was working perfectly for first try.
I have a cheap stereo Bluetooth adapter that works with Dan's v1 froyo. Music and calls work, better than in winmo. I am not sure what the model is but it is from dealxtreme and is called bck-08 when it is paired.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
Nokia BH-503
Everything seems to be perfect- all the buttons have no problem doing what they are meant to do.
mattc Leo + Froyo w/Sense RC1.1
I don't think BT has been fully implemented yet...

Hey.. sorry I know this is Bluetooth site, but I cannot help myself asking a question.
I also use the MattcLeo + Froyo w/ sense RC1.2 Android OS with my HD2, but there is problem on phone calling. I notice I use the same radio 2.10.50.xx like urs. Were your phone calls like robots or high pitch electric volume, or were they fine and normal? THANKS!
For Bluetooth, Sony MW600 does not seem to be working at all. Under MattcLEO froyo w/ sense RC1.2, it does not detect the bluetooth headset

On the bluetooth side: Sorry, it was working perfectly for first try. After several reboots android and bluetooth connection testing, it doesn't seem to work anymore.
Answer your question: When making a call, I don't have any robot sound or any weird sound on my side, but there are alot of background noise on other side (a person that i call to). FYI, iam usng JMZ Dual Boot for booting android.
Sony DRC BT15 matt 1.2 rc rom radio 2.12.50 both A2DP Voice call loud n clear work in the past 2 days no issue

i would like to know did you replace this file system.ext2 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7386051&postcount=165
no i did not when i first try only play music i was wonder why so restart phone then run CLRCAD b4 HARET n it work the most interesting part is voice call much louder using BT but can barely hear on phone nor wire headset
i did further testing for bluetooth headset for my Jabra BT8040 (with A2DP profile) and Blueant Z9.
1. Fresh boot up to Android
2. Connect bluetooth
3. Have to make one outgoing call first (i call my voicemail or home phone) otherwise if i recieve a first call with bluetooth and my device will hang or not able to use bluetooth.
4. Now iam able to use my 2 bluetooth headset with incoming and outgoing call.

[Q] Bluetooth Headsets and Music

So.... The Adnroid development for the HD2 has come so far.
My bluetooth now works with calls flawlessly.
I still can not play music through the headset though. I currently use a Blue Ant Z9i. Currently using the MDeejay 2.3 rEvo.
I have tried the default "music" app and Mixzing. Is there anyone who has had success doing this? Tips?
(Yes I searched the forum; but a post from 2005 is not relevant).
Thanks.
I have a jabra bt8010 (a2dp) headset and works with with the android version I am using: Mdeejay_eVo_Sense_v._1.1_Matted
try another build, or if you have another BT (or a friend's), try that too.

problems about headset buttons

I have updated by HD2 to Android 2.3 but the buttons of my HD2 headset is not working. I press them when recieving calls and playing mp3 but there's no reaction. Is there any way to solve the problem? Thanks
same problem here although i'm not quite sure if the problem is from Android, use a multimeter to see if there is a broken wire
Some of the kernels in some of the roms don't support the headset buttons working properly. which kernel does the build you are using contain?
The same problem is with my build and furthermore, the headset works only with any player and FM radio - I can't talk during phone calls because my receiver doesn't even hear me and I have to unplug the headset from the phone jack in order to talk during phone calls.
Tested on Typhoon CyanogenMod 7 2.1 (not tested on the current version).
