hey guys weird thing has happnd to my JasJar firstly the screen is crashed so i cud barel seen anything in dark but thru sunlight i cud see things on my phone
later i installed a rom from here i dont remember wich one it dont get start up it just stucks up at imate screen (that blue color 1) it doesnt go further from that
and no response from my phone pls help as i dont have any mobile right now ... pls help me out guys.. cud i ever make my JasJar live again??? i wish if the phone was on to install the original rom from the webstie or any rom from here to make it work ......

First of all welcome to the forum... and it's not a big deal and for sure your JASJAR will be rocking... ok did you try to flash the rom in XP(it's more easier) did you follow all the steps properly ... if yes try docformat and install another rom... and see wiki for additional informations and instructions....

Ok press the backlight button and power button.. and after that press reset button but still holding both buttons ( backlight & power)... try it few times and you'll succeed... and one more think press the backlight button only and power button only to check if they are working correctly or not ....

thnx for the help.. i did follow the steps mentioned.. but it styll doesnt wrk. whn i try to flash the rom.. it supposedly looses connection wid the computer .. the screen looses the light buh the wizard is on all the way.. u cant use it though.. buh the lights are still blinkin.. hey, my mda doesnt even turn on anymore, do u guys think its the battery but the battery was fine when i flashed it but then it doesnt boot to the window, so i took the battery out and put it back in and it doesnt turn on anymore.. i tried the camera, rest button and other stuffs. do u think my phone is bricked? or i should def. get a new battery and try it out?
I suggest you back to your Official rom first then start over again. I do this many times. Activesync always loose its connection before start flashing. It's a normal procedure. When you mention that your Wizard is still up and on the way, what you mean exatcly? Be more specific bringing point details on where you are stuck for instance. Then I'll try to help you out.

Sounds a power problem to me. I've been into this couple of times after being in a bootloader mode for a long time. Plug the Wizard directly into the powerwall to start charging then back to your flashing process first doing with an official rom. I don't think you have bricked it.

Try to enter in a bootloader mode by hold on the camera button while pressing the reset button. You'll go to bootloader. If not, remove battery one more time, wait seconds and put it in back. Then, force bootloader again and try to charge through powerwall. You should get an orange light or similar during recharging. Check your model. Hope it helps you this time.

which version is it ,G3 or G4,and which Rom were trying to upgrade with.
Well,if its a G3 then,there's some power problem,but if it's a G4 and you tried to flash a Rom with IPL/SPL included,well its a brick.
Yeah...unfortunately zabardast_1 is right about your device. If it is a G4 and you flashed a G3 ROM, you could have bricked your techtoy! Hope you knew what you was doing at that time!

do some search before you open up a new thread brother. anyways, here's a possible solution (you may have to try it out coz i never found myself in this situation)

Man i called htc service centre here in bangalore , they gave me a simple solution for my problem...
We can hard reset the device just by pressing and holding both the " -" keys right above the answer and end keys and pressing the power button . It will run the ghost image and recover the device ...
note :
1) make sure your battery is more than 50 % charged .
2)you must do a power cycle in your device ( take out the battery , then press and hold the power button ) before you do a hard reset ...
My device is back to normal...

I guess your spl is giving you the trouble. search for olipro"s CID unlock file , you should be ok after this .
How can one make sure that the battery is more than 50% charged when the phone is showing the bootloader screen... If I keep it for charging in that state, does it get charged?

Start the phone in bootloader without connecting the cable. NOw press the powerbutton for a while to shutdown the phone completely. Then plugin the cable or charger, it will start charging without getting started. Charge it for sometime, or to be on the saferside, untill the light turns into gree from amber.

Hard Reset not working HTC P3400
I have Hard Reset my HTC P3400,but it hangs on the boot screen.
It show on the screen as,
ONBL 1.07.0000
SPL 1.07.Oref
GSM 02.79.90
OS 1.9.1.1
I kept the mobile on battery for at leats 5 minutes but no success.
What do i do now ?

if ur phone comes on connect the USB cable to phone and see if u get the USB words on the phone if so good try flashing any other rom from ur PC to ur phone

thats not for VGA devices, it's for QVGA which is why it's not working.
Can you acess the X1 from through activesync on your PC?
If so then you can uninstall it from there (add/remove programs)
if not then I'm afraid you'll have to hard reset, and learn a valuable lesson, make sure you know what it is you're installing..
Hard reset, is take the back cover off and stick the sytlus in the small hole in the side next to the battery, while holding down the two silver buttons on the front.

If you've done it right it must have made a difference as this wipes the devices memory. If you can't do this then don't even start messing about with mtty
if you see the SE logo, then you haven't done it right.
hold the two silver hardware keys on the front of the x1 down after you've reset. Keep pressing them down till you see some text that tells you to press R
If you don't see this screen keep trying (reset+press the keys) till you do.

switch phone off take battery out hold power buttom for a few mins then put batt back holD camera button and then power on u will get tricolor screen use usb and flash new ROM or hold camera and do soft rest with stylus this will also give u try color boot screen ( also see my thread at gene upgrading it says hone dead )

still nuthing happens ??? if u can tell me wht i should do in steps
1. Remove battery
2. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
3. Replace battery
4. Press and hold the camera button & power button.
5. Poke "reset" with the stylus, you will get the tri color screen.
BTW flashing WM 5 was a bad idea . The gurus have suggested against it repeatedly.
u flashed ur SPL
what i knw from this is that u have flashed ur SPL using the WM5 ROM...try ti get tricolor screen as explained by Haree and see what SPL is showing on the screen....
after that we can see which ROM is suitable for u or how to flash new SPL on ur phone....
From the serial number it can be guessed (nor confirm) that ur is new gene...so read sticky's post of unbricking....
tell me wheher ur gene came with windows 6 preloaded?

Hi everyone got a bit of a problem and would appreciate a bit of help , My acer s200 is unresponsive now , no blinking lights, nothing. I was in the middle of updating to ROM - English 3.003b.00.EN when it got accidentally disconnected.
I have had a look on the forum but had not luck finding anything that will help me out.
Any help would be apprerciated please.

hard reset the device and take it to go back to the bootloader mode, then flash rom again

Thanks Hakim Rahman for the reply and link. I have 2 more questions what is the best way to hard reset the phone please? I have seen quite a few different ways to do this which i have followed with no luck as of yet. Also what is the best flash rom to use?
I have tryed to hard reset using the methods below which i think is the correct methods but still my screen is dead
Method 1. "Reset by pressing button combination Hold the Volume up and Volume down buttons while pressing reset until the screen shows “Clean Boot”.
And this way
Method 2. Hold vol up and vol down and press power.
Anyone please point me in the rite direction for the hard reset that will actually work please?

My phone has nothing happening at all it is completely dead, the battery was charged before it went off so i know that is still charged. I can't believe all i done was caught the wire and it came out of my phone while i was updating it to the latest Rom that i downloaded from Acer So will the hard reset still work even though nothing is coming on at all on my phone? The phone at the moment does not even light up Surely it can't be broken all together can it?
