I Don't know why but somebody without a reason closed my thread in development section...
I was looking everywhere and didn't find it ..Does anybody could be so kind and give me an original htc magic splash screen or boot screen whatever you call it? Because I've a branded version and this drives me crazy. I wanna make my device just like it come straight from HTC distribution not from an operator. Big thanks in advance!
I think that's the original one and that's what I'm looking for:

Bump, I'd like this too
just wondering if you want a totally unbranded device, wouldn't the htc sapphire prefer to not sport a magic label?

You can find it as part of the recent firmware update issued by HTC. If you are unable to find it, post it here I will see how I can upload it for you.
It would be great but will it be in mysplash.rgb565 file ready to flash just the splash screen? Or it is whole bundle with other updates? If yes I wanna stay with my hero rom and don't have any exp in stripping roms apart so any advices how to do that are highly appreciated
Bump.
I would second that motion to shoot that **** my way.
I have been trying to track down a simplistic "hTC" branded splash screen. I am quite pleased with my boot image, so I don't mind that.
I like the look of the one you have displayed for us. MINUS the "Magic" thrown in there randomly. I'm so tired of hTC renaming their devices every five minutes to adhere to the distributors and consumers.
If anyone comes across a sexy looking splash screen file, POST THAT STUFF!
Thanks.

I made something for you. One of them I found ,another is a little modification of the first one. If you like it and wanna have it on splash screen find a tool for splash screen that converts this image to *.rgb file which is flashable. I haven't changed my splash yet so you have to look around how to do that. Remember there are two splashes If you want to have just one kind you have to flash every with the same picture. Greetings
Thanks Pegaz!
That first one is drop-dead-gorgeous!
Very nice. I'm trying to find some creative "hTC" splash screens. I know about that program or software you're referring to that allows you to format and create your own splash screen image based from any picture you see fit...as long as it's sized properly.
I'll have to look into flashing a new splash image onto my device. I don't want to use ADB. Hopefully there is an alternative to this. I have heard that folks have done this in fastboot mode.

As far as I know to flash boot image in Dream/Magic we change it using this commands:
fastboot flash splash1 mysplash.rgb565 - change first boot img
fastboot flash splash2 mysplash.rgb565 - change second boot img
fastboot reboot
so... we need *.rgb565 files but in your zip is *.NB0 ... so..? how to flash it with your file ?,have you done it on your MAGIC ? and are you 100% sure that won't damage the device?

*.NB0 is the extension used by HTC, the contents is RGB565, I have verified it.

You don't extract NB0 file, it is RGB565 file so you just flash that file. If you are not comfortable rename it to .rgb565 !
i've flashed rom with success so why when i fastboot flash splash1 mysplash.rgb565
cmd console just says waiting for device??

For example in my magic from orange: first is Orange logo= splash1 , next is HTC MAGIC (the same as on a picture)=splash2, next are screens that come from rom - as you said : cool hero animation and after that lettering HTC shining. So basically to remove operator logo you flash splash1 with the same image from splash2 and it looks like one splash

i had previously flashed a new splash1 and just now flashed the "htc magic" image with no problem. i cannot flash a splash2 though. my boot image sequence now looks as follows:
"htc magic" image > blank screen > "hero" animated image with two peeking droids > "htc" animated image that has a shimmering effect.
Is the blank screen the space where my splash2 image would appear? when attempting to flash splash2 i get an error that partition does not exist.
any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
***reading a bit through the dream posts, i see that certain spl do not have a splash2. is mine one of them? is the dark screen after splash1 and the hero image normal?***
Right so I just got S-OFF on my desire as many are doing atm and was hoping that people could post splash screens here . I like the AlphaRev splash screen but would like different ones to choose from. Feel free to post your favourite or home made splash screens, that's what this thread is for .
You can get the default HTC splash screen from the AlphaRev website.
All thanks goes to the guys at AlphaRev who made all this possible (Official Thread).
HTC Splash Screen - click here
AlphaRev Splash Screen - click here
NOTE: TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK I am not responsible if your device becomes bricked or for any damage that may occur on your device(Hardware or Software). This is only for HTC Desire GSM rooted with S-OFF.
Quick Tutorial:
Download the splash screen
Save the splash.img in C:/android-sdk/tools
Reboot into Fastboot
Open terminal window and change directory to "C:/android-sdk/tools"
Type in "fastboot flash splash1 [splashname].img", without the " and replace [splashname] with the actual name of the splash eg. desire_stock_splash1.img

You could flash a custom splash screen.
My understanding is that the first splash logo for NAND Android is still the WM splash, which can be changed by flashing a splash screen.
Check out my sig for some EnergyROM-specific splash screens or the WWE splash screen. Or, you could send me an image via PM, and I'll make the custom splash screen for you.

Hi, I just found this guide: Downgrade to HTC Froyo WWE for AlphaRevX (HBOOT 1.01.0001)
Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1132028
After Step 2 it says, This will downgrade your ROM version to HTC WWE Froyo for Wildfire (unbranded).
If I do this will it get rid of the Vodafone splash screen at start up or will I need to use AlphaRevX s-off before I can do this or will this debranding process do the job of removing the vodafone logo with out using AlphaRevX. I just want to get rid of or change the splash screen and keep my original HTC installed rom, thanks
I dont think that will remove the Splash Screen. Yes, it will remove all other Vodafone bloat like their own apps or stuff, but, AFAIK, Splash screen removal needs S-OFF.
Refer to this thread on how to change splash screens: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1127914&highlight=Splash
It will remove the splash screen. It got rid of my 3 splash screen anyway.
HTC Wildfire
HBOOT: 6.01.1002 S-OFF
ROM: CM7 Stable 7.1.0 RC1
Kernal: 2.6.35.13-nFinity
Yes it should remove the branded vodafone splash screen and give the HTC splash screen.
Every ruu will have its splash screen, and ruu will overwrite the splash screen during the process (AFAIK). The file will be like "splash.nb0" inside the rom.zip of ruu.
But to have a custom splash screen you need to have s-off.

Sorry for delay in posting back as I've been away, thank you all for your replies, I will give it a try.
how looks the original htc splash screen?
I use this boot images:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=933951:)
this is my question:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUkTUXqaJ3U
That screen is not connected to android, it is the bootscreen or splashscreen.
Google "change hd2 splashscreen"
Splashacreens are flashed just like winm
o roms or radios.
Flashing a stock winmo rom should change it,or if it only changes the first few seconds, then that image is the secondary splash.
For technical details see the "watermark your Leo" link in my sig.
THX
YES"
the first few seconds is the HTC screen"
but after the few seconds.......................................................=(
where can download the htc bootscreen?
