dreaimg.nbh must be installed through the bootloader, not recovery. To enter bootloader, hold down Camera+Power. You should have the nbh on the root of your SD card, and it will automatically be detected. Let us know if that works for you.
Next time you decide to root, try this version instead:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=533731
I've done it this way numerous times... after you root, install Cyanogen's Recovery v1.4 using the directions further down that thread, then flash the updated Radio and SPL via Recovery.
Inserting a Formated fat32 with DREAIMG.nbh starting the dream holding with OFF+CAM
Code:
Bootloader says:

Hi,
I have a rooted 32b magic. I tried many roms and it worked fine every time.
-But...Then
I got a grey screen after install and reboot if i tried to install anything else as Cyanogen.
I tried to unroot and downgrade to 1.5 to solve this problem...But i did not find a "how to"....
-Now....
If i try to get in recovery mode i get a big "!" - another press on Home+Power brings me to a special kind of
recovery mode...(normally i have amon-ra 1.2.1)...this one has blue letters and has only 3 options (reboot, apply update.zip, wipe).
If i try to install any rom with apply update.zip...it says verification failed...installation aborted.
What have i done?
It seems somehow you have the original recovery image back, I'd say fastboot back into Amon Ra's and apply another ROM, see how that works.
Thanks Dixi789, this solved the problem!
hi there so i have a g2 and i rooted it no problem and then i decided to change over to the desirez hboot however something went wrong so i tried to boot into recovery, however i forgot that i still had the PC10IMG in my sdcard and it loaded the radio .... i believe it erased the rom and now i'm stuck in a bootloop on the HTC screen. I tried this method found on
cynogenmod's forum on how to fix a semi-bricked g2 and I am on the process of trying to load the bootloader however whenever i go into selecting bootloader it searches for PC10img and then it doesn't do anything. It won't allow me to update or anything it just goes back to the screen and i have to choose again and it becomes an endless cycle.
on the bootloader screen the top says
Vision PVT Eng S-off
HBOOT -0.84.2000 (PC10000)
MICROP-0425
Radio -26.02.01.15_M2
eMMC-boot

I don't know what any of it means besides security off. Someone please help! Is there anything I can do??
take out the SDcard put it in your computer and remove the PC10IMG.zip from the card.
Then put it back in the phone and proceed to boot into recovery and restore your backup or re-flash your ROM.
I also have CM Recovery 3.0.2.4 and I can't even flash the stock rom img because it says there is an errror
Amend scripting is no longer supported
Amend scripting was deprecated by Google in Android 1.5
It was necessary to remove it when upgrading to Clockworkmod 3.0 Gingerbread based recovery
Please switch to Edify scripting to create working update zip packages
I'm not sure if this is bootloader problem or a rom problem
Don't flash a PC10IMG through recovery.
Download another custom rom, put it on your sdcard and flash that through recovery.
Flashing the DZ hboot causes a bootloop because the phone looks in different places for the files.

Can you help me and tell me all the steps? thank you very much
This means the Recovery isn't install correctly, so try reinstall CWM.

Thank you, I really do. I installed cwm touch munjeni. Just installed otherwise enter into recovery from the usual error. When you first go into recovery remains stuck on Opening update package ..
I downloaded this file
In particular, for install bootloader LK bootloader and recovery [16.Jul.2012].
Thanks.
I'm trying to re-download the file as you suggested
EDIT: I confirm enter into recovery only at the time since installation. I downloaded the rom but remains stuck on opening update package.
How can I go back to windows and try again from scratch? Or Advise you. I tried to install the RUU from htc official site but the phone does not respond. Because the error perhaps?
if you have problem about (Opening update package...), why not try other ROMs, also tap on wipe/factory reset then begin installing the ROM.
just one thing, if you restart device, can you enter recovery? (by volume up)

No, I can not get into recovery. It gives me the usual error I posted before
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
You didn't install drivers ADB, see this... and that's why your computer didn't find your device:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21617463&postcount=3
also, you must be able to enter recovery (volume up) after installed LK,
I've unlocked the bootloader and flashed the Revolution Recovery B9, but I can't mount 'data' , so I modified the partition into F2FS and then formatted it. After that I couldn't enter to system, so I used three buttons to recovery the stock firmware. Now I can't reflash the TWRP and I can't add any goggle account.
What should I do?
Thanks before
What version p9 lite vns- ??
What do you want to install as firmware?
Info. If you wanted to be helped, helped too.
Hi,
have similar issue.
Bought P9Lite, originally on Vodafone UK/IE. VNS-L31C02B120.
Flashed B432 ROM which was OK, although changed to C900. Then I flashed something which was posted as UPDATE.APP. I thought it's an update, but then saw the size, was about 32MB. Since then it boots into Huawei eRecovery, which is uselless as it connect via Wi-Fi but does nothing. I can boot into fastboot/Recovery mode but thats it.
Tried flash Vodafone ROM but it stuck at 5%, no matter what I try to flash. The last when it booted still showed the Vodafone start up logo.
Any help appreciated...
Bootloader locked, no root.
1) Disconnect and power off.
2) Put a stock rom (UPDATE.APP) on SD card in folder dload and put it in the phone. If you have not, create folder "dload"
3) Hold down all 3 hardware buttons for cca. 10 second (Volume+ AND Volume- AND Power) until the phone enters EMUI system update mode and stars update from the SD card.
4) Phone will reboot and you have OS
Hi there,
I have (hopefully) a small problem going back from Custom ROM back to the Stock Huawei ROM. I didn't do a backup of the Stock, because i thought i can download it somewhere anyway, which probalbly wasn't the smartest thing.
So i downloaded a 6.0 ROM from h++p://consumer.huawei.com/za/support/phones/p8-lite/
I'm not sure, which version i need, so i downloaded the "ALE-L21, Android 6.0, EMUI 4.0, C185B561, Open Market, Southern Africa Cell C, TelKom" version, and tried the "Force upgrade" method which was written in the PDF. It says "Format SD Card", but doesn't mention, to which Filesystem i should format the SD Card to, so i tryed vFAT, followed the furthur instructions, but when i boot up the Phone with Vol Up/Down Pwr Button pressed, it vibrates shortly and stays on the Huawei Boot logo forever or until the Battery is flat.
So i tryed to examined the update.app file, and surely, its some form of archive, so i extracted the recovery.img from it and flashed it, because i thought i may need the stock recovery to get the Vol Up/Down Pwr Button method to work, but the recovery didn't boot with some error, so i reverted back to the TWRP and did get it work/boot again, but i'm now stuck to the custom recovery/ROM, and i don't want to go any further with this fastboot flashing methodes because i'm not entirely sure what i'm doing.
I know, this is probably a stupdid question, and those ALE-L21 Fanboys are laughthing at me (at least i hope so), but i wanted to ask if im missing something obvious or somebody is willing to help me out (which would be really nice).
Thanks in advance
