Help me in unlocking T-Mobile HTC Wing / P4350 (Herald)

Can any body help me to Unlock my T-Mobile HTC Wing / P4350.

What kind of unlock are you trying to do?
CID unlock - software
SIM unlock - carrier
You can HARDSPL to CID unlock your phone.
Unfortunately, there is no SIM unlock option available at this time on XDA. You can either google "IMEI check" and go thru them, or if you have a Tmobile account that's been active for a few months, you can call them and ask them to unlock your phone.

I dont know whether we have to go with CID unlock - software or
SIM unlock - carrier.
Right now I am in US and I want to use the mobile in India

What you have to do is Sim Unlock it, because I'm assuming there is no T-mobile in India...

Right now I'm not with T-Mobile so I can not contact them in unlocking the mobile. Is there any other alternate way to unlock my Wing?

you have a wing but you don't have a tmo sim? what?
Use a paid service. You'll have to know the IMEI number (easy enough)

Using my Artemis in the USA?

Hey guys, please excuse my noobness, I have read thoroughly but I am still confused!
I have an O2 Orbit (ie Artemis) and I am going to the USA soon.
I've become a bit confused as to what I need to do to my Artemis to get it working with a prepay sim in the states.
I've seen the posts about cid unlocking, but I'm not sure if that's the same as a sim unlock, and I don't want to brick my phone!
I'm not too bothered about cooked roms etc, I have updated to WM6 and I'm reasonably happy with it, I just want to be able to use my phone in the USA.
Would someone be kind enough to take the time to explain what I need to do?

I think it should already work in the US. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that only phones bought in the US from a provider are SIM-locked. CID unlocking is only used to help you flash your phone to a different ROM, which, as you already mentioned, you are not interested in doing.

I see, so CID unlocking is nothing to do with what I want, I simply need a SIM unlock, assuming my phone is SIM locked.
SIM locking is normal practice for UK service providers, so I assume it is locked.
Is there any way I can tell if my phone is SIM locked, or do I have to test it by putting a SIM card from a different provider in it?

[Q] Wildfire Locked - Unknown Operator?

Hi,
I got locked HTC Wildfire. Is there any way to know what operator is the phone locked for?
I want to buy code (since j-tag pin out is still unknown) the provider wants me to send code of operator.

If its locked to specific carrier the splash screen/boot animation when phones first booted/powered on should have providers logo.

i have question that i is running only 1 network sim (Network name: Zong PK) and not other
Can u tell me how i can unlock/fix this??

you need to purchase a network unlock code for the device. check google for a company to do this. you will need the IMEI number from the phone, and probably the original carrier information will be helpful (att, tmobile, etc.)

Help with Huawei cm990 cdma

Hello people.
Im new to the forum, and Idk if this is the correct place to ask this, but here it goes.
I have a Huawei cm 990 (I believe is an unique variant product from my country, Venezuela)
It does have a cdma number, and I would like to know if I could change the number of the phone and how could be procedure for it, I currently have a Movilnet (carrier) and I would like to change to Digitel (another carrier).
I have done little research, and android have some #* codes, but Idk the whole process to it.
My phone is also with stock brand rom and not rooted, but I can do it if necessary.
