Please Help me !!! m Desperate !!!!

Hello to all. My name is Kushal.
I own a Cingular 8125.
ROM Version :: 1.8.11.1 WWE
ROM Date :: 11/24/2005
Radio Version :: 01.16.11
Protocol Version :: 4.0.13.21
IPL 1.xx
SPL 1.xx
I want to upgrade my ROM ... I even tried to flash it but it was giving me an error with error number 266, something like that ... I even tried lokiwiz.bat and EnableRapi.cab and then again tried to flash the ROM but again failed ...
Anyone please tell me step by step what should be done in order to successfully flash the ROM and upgrade it to WM6.
I was using Kaiser ROM for upgradation ...

also when i am trying to upgrade the ROM with KAISER ROM
on my PDA it is showing

ok,First,is your phone in working condition,does it load up OS or its stuck on Bootloaders (Multi Color Screen) ? Did you perform CID unlock before upgrading to wm6 ? coz without CID unlock,it won't upgrade at all.
If its working,then download WST_4.2.2 tool and verify the CID Lock/unlock status of the phone,if its still CID unlock,then get it unlocked either through 'lokiwiz 02b' or WST_4.2.2,only then flash any wm6 rom.
Secondly,if its not working and gets into Bootloaders,then download the official cingular rom and flash it in Bootloaders to recover back to its default working status and then proceed further as described above.

Buddy, my PDA is very well in working condition, and it loads the OS and doesnt stop at bootloaders ... i am able to make calls and do what ever ...
Next, my CID is unlocked ...
And now i cant figure out how to flash a ROM ...
may be i am confused or i am not able to understand the steps involved in doing so ... And can you please suggest me a gud ROM image to upgrade ...

Restore my ELF

Hi everybody, i have some problems with my htc touch gsm: i flashed my phone with HSPL 3.10 and than with Onyx WM6.1 ROM, but now i have to send the phone to the HTC service, so i have to flash it with original SPL and ROM!
I found the original ROM but if i try to flash the phone it give me an error, i suppone i have to flash the original spl first.
And than...can anyone tell me where to find this original spl?

Hi, i successfully flashed my elfin with the original Italian ROM found in this forum.
Now i don't know how to restore my original SPL :'(

hspl doesn't allow you to flash a rom containing spl.
Rename rom as Elf0img.nbh and start your phone from bootloader to flas it from sd or use haret to unlock and flash your phone

Thanks for the quick response but now the problem is not that i cant't flash the original rom, but that i can't downgrade my spl from 3.10 to the original one (i suppose it was 2.20.0002 or something similar).
I really don't now hot to downgrade!

I've done it!!!
I downgraded my elfin from HardSPL 3.10 to the original 2.20.000!!!
I made an update packet using the original SPL 2.20.000 downloaded from the xda wiki.
I attach it to this post if anyone will need to downgrade his Elfin from HardSPL to the original SPL 2.20.000.

can u explain that better, please
i instaled a rom from other site, mega rom 2, and now it is allways restarting and i only have usb conection for a few seconds not enough time to fla**** with anoter rom.
how can i solve this problem?
solved: i get into bootloader, by pressing Camera button + Power On ...and its back to life

my english ist not perfect but i think that i can describe my problem.
i have a herm300 (is written in the back of the phone).
IPL-1.01
SPL-2.03
I tried to flash my hermes with an other language Rom. I've forget to install hardspl. At 40% my device has reboot. I cant boot into OS. It freezes on HTC picture.
My device is CID locked. From germany T-Mobile.
Mtty tells me that my cid is: T-MOB101
If I try to flash the Hermes with a shipped rom, it reboots always at 1%. And it gaves an error like Invalid Vendor ID. Flashing with SD-Card brings an error, too.
In the Bootloader i see this:
Herm100
IPL-1.01
Herm100
SPL-2.03
Is my device now an herm300 or an herm100?
Please help me to flash it back!

hard reset your device then reFlash with Official ROM for Hermes

One of the error message will appear when you use the wrong RUU to upgrade. Bill will check whether the ID Model and Language ID are compatible with the device. Make sure you use the appropriate RUU tool to upgrade.

i hope this will help you. i had the same problem and i solved it las night.
you HAVE to flash the original ROM that its locked for - the cid as i can see is for this rom

and remember,after flashing with its original rom CID UNLOCK IT then flash any rom compatible with your hermes.

Guessing you're trying to CID unlock.

Your device is still CID locked while trying to flash a cooked/custom ROM. Flash the USPL or Hard SPL if you have not already done so! If you were using the temporary USPL (white screen) method when you encountered this, you have to wait for the screen to go completely white before flashing a ROM (reset and try again if the screen did not go white).
What SPL were you trying, was it a USPL?

I am using elf-uspl 2.27

[Q] HTC Touch Elf / ROM Problem

Hi
I have just updated the ROM of my French HTC Elf
The new ROM is official ( HTC_Touch_FRA_2.20.406.1B) from HTC support site
The problem: after the installation, done successfully , the HTC does not boot !!!
It shows me "Smart Mobility" then restarts
PS:
IPL : 2.20.0002
SPL : 2.20.0000
Soft and HardReset gives nothing
I can not make CId Unloak because I am blocked in mode Bootloader (No. ActivSync) thus I can not install Cooked ( custom ) ROM
Any solution ?

I have already done a big research but no solution
I have 2 problems :
- I did'nt find an original ROM ( to my HTC_Touch_FRA )
- There is no way to CID Unlock from Bootloader ! I can't do a CID Unlock because my HTC stuck in "smart mobility"

If nothing works and the device is unusable, I would try some shipped roms with equivalent cid, even another language, flash them from SD card and hope to find a working rom, then cid unlock. I'm not telling to do that, just what I would

Bizarrely there is no official ROM with the same CID ( HTC__203 )
I don't find the original ROM ( factory ROM ) which was installed in my HTC !!!
How can I install ROM from SDcard ?! I have already put the file .nbh in SDcard but nothing takes place
