Hi, i have a Sapphire 32B with a Cyanogen 4.0.2. Where is the menu for setting WPA2 Enterprise? After a scan i can setting for WPA2 Personal only. In the changelog of cyano i readed that this funtionally is imported from donut.
If you actually read what he wrote... It says WPA Enterprise, not WPA2 Enterprise. So you have WPA-EAP and IEEE 802.1x you can use.
Also next time try not to write this in the development section. This thread has been repported for trashing.

I seem to have problems connecting to a WPA2 (AES) enabled Access Point.
With WPA1 (TKIP) everything is working fine.
Installed the WiFiService.CAB found in here, without any success. Can someone please confirm if WPA2 is working with universal? If yes which ROM version and ideally is there any cab file with the required drivers?
PS: I m using a wm5 ROM atm

Hi
Does anyone know whether Nexus One support connecting to PPTP VPN or not?
Thanks.
Yes it supports PPTP.
Yup, in Settings you'll find VPN config. It supports PPTP and various flavours of IPSec, along with Cisco VPN concentrators with Cyanogen's Bacon mod.
It would be interesting if someone got OpenVPN working with Android. I know there's a port for the client but it only works the Community edition and not the Access Server

in principle OpenVPN IS already working on Android.
Check-out TunnelDroid (search for the app in the market, in the market description is a link to the related websites).
It apparantely works on the DROID etc... but what we need for Nexus One is the right tun.ko module for the kernel.... the DROID tun.ko doesn't work on Nexus....
...
I have openvpn working on my n1. Openvpn is embedded into Cyanogen mod already. Download tunneldroid from the market and follow the instructions in the readme file found on the tunneldroid website.
So finaly i succseed with this, its working! With jerpelea's latest rom i can connect to the laptop via ad-hoc, created by windows 7. Need to set static ip adress, and use wep security. If you have quessions, i will help you.
Can you make a wiki? Thnks
Yes, it'd be nice if you wrote some guide, so I could incorporate it into a general wifi-N topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1019371 - with giving you credits, of course

This will auto set M.A.C Address, and if you want to change it, here are many tutorials and apps that you may search it, here is an example: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=diewland.changemac&hl=en
