US TD2 - Touch Diamond2, Pure General

Does anyone know if HTC will offer the US TD2 under it's own brand name instead of AT&T?

Where to get Softbank X01HT

Who can get me one? thanks!

yurakucho has more than 20

are they any web-site?
So, where are you then? The X01ht is just one of the models, if you tell us where you are, the guys here can tell you what your carrier branded it.
Unless you specifically want a X01ht...maybe you can try auctions.yahoo.co.jp.
I'm located in seattle, US.... any idea??... i search about HTC, but thyn only supply to Cingular only, no idea where to get... thanks!

Name of CDMA Hermes?

Forgive me if this is blatently ovbious or under my nose, but what is the name of the CDMA flavor of the HTC Hermes?
I currently own a Verizon Wireless XV6600 which is known as the "HTC Harrier" because it is the CDMA version of the "HTC BlueAngel" which is the GSM version. Great phone! Love it to death!
I've been waiting patiently for Verizon to come out with the XV6800 because from what I can see about it, it is simply awesome over the 6600/6700. Additionally, my New-Every-Two promotion kicks in during this June. I'd love to take home a XV6800 at that time. I want to know what this phone is really called so if I have the urge to buy it branded as an HTC or other carrier, I will know it will work with the Verizon network.
Thanks in advance!
its called the titan ... not to be confused with tytn...
Thanks for that clarification.
If that's the case, then what is the difference between the HTC Hermes and the HTC TyTN?

None, Hermes is the internal name, TyTN is the sales name
Does anybody know when the HTC Titan is going to be released under any carrier?

It is NOT the same it is called the HTC p4000 or Titan, has a different chip (400mhz Qualcomm) a bigger memory, and the keyboard opens to the right, it is already out with Telus. See the link below which states it comes with WM6 but it does not, it has WM5 installed.

can my htc hd2 be converted/used on Virgin ?

hi guys,
I have been thinking about going over to Virgin, which i believe uses sprint networks, which i believe is CDMA.., can i get my htc hd2 from tmobile to work on their network ?
thanks,
kevin rea
palmdale, calif.
No. GSM and CDMA are 2 completely different technologies. GSM uses SIM cards of course, while CDMA uses ESN numbers to identify the phone to the network. Sorry, but no. Unlocked the HD2 can be used worldwide on any network that is GSM and uses SIM cards however.
The Hd2 is a gsm phone. It will not work with CDMA providers.
so....
if i switch to virgin mobile and one of their phones.. does someone here want to buy my htc hd2 ?

It's possible, but you should probably use another part of the forum for that. I'm willing to bet that there is a "for sale / to buy" fork over on the General Forums.
But you will more than likely get better results on Craigslist. The average "newish" HD2 is going for $250, though I saw a "new-in-the-box" on there yesterday for $300.
Hope this helps
yeah I just bought my HD2 on craigslist for $200,(90% new) but you gotta price it appropriate, cause there are SO many HD2 for sale out there now. Dont get me wrong they are still agreat great phone, but tons of people bought them a few months back when T-Mobile had those crazry free phone promos goins, and 75% of those foolios are now already reselling them, but yeah $250-300 is fair price for HD2 in good condition

I have the chance to pick up a HTC HD2 (tmobile) for a great price. I know tmobile is GSM and VM is CDMA. I currently use a VM Intercept.. After reading the specs for the HD2 It says GSM/CDMA... How come it says both? does this mean the phone IS capable of flashing for VM CDMA use?

[Q] HTC HD2 T-Mobile US - are they all the same?

I own HTC HD2 from Europe. It has only 512Mb of flashable memory. I want to buy a T-Mobile HD2 from ebay. But when I was reading descriptions, some phone's ids were HTC Touch Pro. And I have seen a whole few of those at ebay. Does it mean that the sellers didn't know better, or that under the name HD2 could be a couple of family lines? Also, some description said that the camera was 3mp.
So, my worry is that trying to buy a T-Mobile HTC HD2 with 1Gb internal memory, I might end up with something different than the original T-Mobile HTC HD2.
Or maybe I am just dealing with sellers who don't know much about phones, and I don't need to worry?

Be careful you don't end up with a different phone all together..
Tmobile US HD2 has the same specs as the Europe one except for the Nand Space like you said...
Only one model US HD2
5MP
4.3"
Tmobile AWS (3G) etc...
The touch pro is a model before the hd2 so stick with items that have htc HD2 and the pictures (better to see the actual item before buying)
Thank you very much!

I am in Canada, on the Bell network. I know there are some differences between US and Canada because of different networks. Which model would I look for, to get an unlocked HD2? Thanks.
also make sure you're not getting a Chinese knock off.

I believe you'd be better off with the telstra (Aussie network) version...
This would allow you to use 3g on Rogers... but I'm not sure about bell. They may use different bands.
I'm not 100% on the details but do a search on telstra hd2 Canada etc etc and you'll get some more reliable info...
Sent From My Fingers To Your Face......
It'll work on the Bell network as well, as Bell/Rogers/Telus all use the same bands ( though Bell/Telus and Rogers have different networks).
Just make sure you're getting the Telstra 9193 model.

Is S8 US version work on European networks?

Hi All,
Can anyone advise if Samsung S8 US version going to work as it should on European networks? Or is it better to buy the international one? There is a good offer at the moment - $550 on ebay and $575 on samsung website - and I wonder if it makes sense to bring it back?
Regards!
