How to find bootloader version?

I searched, but there is way too many results to go thru, about 100 pages. Please, I know its a noob question, but its a quick one. Im about to flash, so I need to know, what do I do to find bootloader version?
When you first power on your device, look in the upper left corner.
IPL x.xx.xx
SPL x.xx.xx
The x.xx.xx is your bootloader version

8525 cingular freezes in att logo

I unlocked the phone using the v3 pof method and it worked and the phone calls were working.. glad i spent the time to do so and went to bed.. this morning i turn it on and it freezes in the att logo and doesn't go anywhere else.. despite soft reset hard reset and doing the two button stylus method...
so is my phone bricked or fried? it sucks cause it was working and not it won't pass the att logo... i can go to the tricolor by pressing ok and power button... any suggestions/
Try flashing rom, SPL?
ok, so do you mean go somewhere like here
http://www.htcamerica.net/support/8525/software-downloads.html
to update the rom spl? i think my rom spl is 1.40 im thinking this is the latest or not? anyway i think latest might be 1.40.3 or something while mine is 1.40.01
is this what you mean by upgrading my spl rom?
since i'm able to only go to my boot screen with att logo only i can't go to the device section in win6 and see my rom version ... so i did the ok button and on button to get to the tricolor area.... and spl showed 1.40.. so is this the rom spl that i have?
im hoping this will help clear the att logo screen freeze... if not i have no other options..
i can't even upgrade the rom since it'sat that screen always... does this mean i'm stuck for good?
Try flashing HardSPL

you can still flash from that bootloader screen. see if the following link helps
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_Unbrick
I forgot to mention i do have hard spl 1.40 ollipro
do i need to upgrade to the 2.10xx ollipro?
also looking at the unbrick from the wiki i need to
"flash only nbh containing os"
now i'm not sure where i can get this "nbh" file containing os and how i can flash it without being able to sync via usb cable since it doesn't get passed att logo splash screen...
BUT
I can go to the tricolor bootloader...
so if anyone can direct me on how i can get the "nbh" file containing os only
(not the nbh file containging radio only)
and how i can do so via the tricolor bootloader, i will give you a pat on the back! i have warm hands so you'll get healing from it also..

Pick a ROM (make sure it's OS only, most are), uncompress it, look for a file (usually. I've never seen a cooked ROM that didn't have this filename as the OS image, but one never knows) named "RUU_signed.nbh".
That that file and read the wiki on flashing the phone using an SD card.

Stuck at vodafone screen< HELP?!?!?!?!?!?

i rooted my mytouch and was trying to revert to the 32b board and preformed all of these commands, all of which were successful,
fastboot flash radio radio.img
fastboot erase system -w
fastboot erase boot
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot flash recovery recovery-RAv1.2.0G.img
but now my phone is stuck at the red vodaphone screen, please if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
how long has it been stuck at that screen for? did u keep it on for a few minutes? try taking out the battery for a few minutes, then re inserting it.
run fastboot into recovery on computer and it will wait for device. plug phone in without battery then put battery in phone and it should throw phone into recovery .
alrite i was able to get into fastboot an i reflashed sappimg, hopefully all will be good i think i'll just stick with 32a until i figure out what i did wrong, thanx all
Hang on, Firstly you said reverting back to 32B. Then you said you'll stick to 32A? Which do you have? You run a risk of bricking the phone putting the wrong firmware on it.
I have a t-mobile mytouch, when i rooted it the board ends up being 32a (im pretty sure everybodys is like that) so i started to follow the "daredevil steps" to change the board to 32b but that created the stuck vodafone screen

Yeah I think it was stuck because you need to install a ROM first.
MOD EDIT
Moved to general forum as not related to android development

ya bro. he didnt flash a 32b rom. thats all that was left. when you dont have a rom and revert back it sits at the splash because the phone is looking at you or whoever saying "ummmm ya i dont know what to do now?? rom???" lol. its an easy fix. have fun all!!!! yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One problem is that you can not see the red text "Recovery Mode" on the red background. Someone had the same problem on another forum.

Can you provide a bit more info on this? This might lead to somewhere. I read some folks have red background with blur logo (maybe mean the recover text is hidden there)? I will be happy if it is in deed in recovery mode with red background. However, my bricked phone has red background with clear logo.
I have this from a german site
http://www.android-hilfe.de/vodafone-htc-magic-forum/3419-nach-flash-handy-startet-nicht-mehr-2.html
roughly translated: he thought that he stuck on the start screen but actually was in fastboot mode. he just couldn't see it trough the red Vodaphone screen. He pressed home+power and could load the backup from th PC into the phone.

remove "touch pro 2" screen with red letters

well i need to remove that start up screen installed by nrgz leo rom to return my tmous tp2 for warranty. ive tried the search function but no luck please help fast
You need to flash your stock ROM and stock SPL. Info in the following link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=550131
i already put the stock rom. if i put the stock spl the screen will go away??
That screen you're referring to is not a result of you flashing a custom ROM. If you recall, that screen also appears when you boot the device right out of the box. So, flashing a stock ROM and SPL won't remove the screen. But they won't be able to tell that you flashed custom ROMS.
you sure
i really cant remember but are you sure it came like that?? (t-mobile us)
I don't know how much help it is, but I'm on Verizon(stock rom) and when I start up my phone, I get the "Touch Pro 2" logo in the middle with about 3 lines of red letters & numbers in the bottom right hand corner and a couple red numbers on the bottom left hand side.
yep my TP2 ( T-Mobile ) did that since day 1 out of the box.
are you talking about the boot screen?
like with the TmoUS tp2 it says "Stick Together" & then shows the info in the bottom right that pertains to ROM/Radio/Protocol version?
If so, search for a custom boot screen editor. I'm pretty sure you need HardSPL for it because it uses a custom flasher to change that image. That's how it was done with the Kaiser. used it all the time to change my boot image.
I just don't know if its been done for the TP2 yet.

white screen, no bootloader

hello
i read this forum in the last 4 hours and i didnt find any solution to my problem.
last night i was trying to install android in my HD2 :
first i install HSPL3 and everything was ok
then i instlled DFT_LEO_MAGDLR 113 and when to restart, my phone just stays white screen with the green logo HTC on it. just!!!!!!
i tryed to go in bootloader holding down and up volume and the power, nothing it happenes, is going white with the green logo. i tryed to connect it to the pc and install, delete do something, i cant do anything . it just stays like this. i took the batery off and put it again and hold the volume buttons, nothing , NOTHING is happening.
what to do ??!! please help, any idea or something
SPL MUST be 2.08.hspl and radio MUST be 2.07.50 or higher, and must not have 51 instead of 50. So radio 2.07.50 will work, 2.07.51 wont.
Flash the correct radio and magldr will start.
how to flash again, because the computer dont recognise it more, is like is turned off.if i let it hours it just stays white screen with the green logo on it.
Hold vol down at start to enter bootloader, connect USB, when it says USB at bottom of screen you can flash.
No need to re flash magldr, its just waiting for the correct radio (go for 2.15.50) and it will start.
i wrote in the previous post that i cant go into boodloader, i do push the volume down but is not going into bootloader, is opening my white screen with the htc logo on it.
Lol, oh yea. I dip in and out of here dozens of times a day, and lose track of the details of various threads.
Sorry, can't help you.
it's ok, i think to the end i will send it to check the buttons. i give up . thanks anyway
