remove "touch pro 2" screen with red letters - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Themes and Apps

well i need to remove that start up screen installed by nrgz leo rom to return my tmous tp2 for warranty. ive tried the search function but no luck please help fast

You need to flash your stock ROM and stock SPL. Info in the following link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=550131

i already put the stock rom. if i put the stock spl the screen will go away??

That screen you're referring to is not a result of you flashing a custom ROM. If you recall, that screen also appears when you boot the device right out of the box. So, flashing a stock ROM and SPL won't remove the screen. But they won't be able to tell that you flashed custom ROMS.

you sure
i really cant remember but are you sure it came like that?? (t-mobile us)

I don't know how much help it is, but I'm on Verizon(stock rom) and when I start up my phone, I get the "Touch Pro 2" logo in the middle with about 3 lines of red letters & numbers in the bottom right hand corner and a couple red numbers on the bottom left hand side.

yep my TP2 ( T-Mobile ) did that since day 1 out of the box.

are you talking about the boot screen?
like with the TmoUS tp2 it says "Stick Together" & then shows the info in the bottom right that pertains to ROM/Radio/Protocol version?
If so, search for a custom boot screen editor. I'm pretty sure you need HardSPL for it because it uses a custom flasher to change that image. That's how it was done with the Kaiser. used it all the time to change my boot image.
I just don't know if its been done for the TP2 yet.

8525 cingular freezes in att logo

I unlocked the phone using the v3 pof method and it worked and the phone calls were working.. glad i spent the time to do so and went to bed.. this morning i turn it on and it freezes in the att logo and doesn't go anywhere else.. despite soft reset hard reset and doing the two button stylus method...
so is my phone bricked or fried? it sucks cause it was working and not it won't pass the att logo... i can go to the tricolor by pressing ok and power button... any suggestions/
Try flashing rom, SPL?
ok, so do you mean go somewhere like here
http://www.htcamerica.net/support/8525/software-downloads.html
to update the rom spl? i think my rom spl is 1.40 im thinking this is the latest or not? anyway i think latest might be 1.40.3 or something while mine is 1.40.01
is this what you mean by upgrading my spl rom?
since i'm able to only go to my boot screen with att logo only i can't go to the device section in win6 and see my rom version ... so i did the ok button and on button to get to the tricolor area.... and spl showed 1.40.. so is this the rom spl that i have?
im hoping this will help clear the att logo screen freeze... if not i have no other options..
i can't even upgrade the rom since it'sat that screen always... does this mean i'm stuck for good?
Try flashing HardSPL

you can still flash from that bootloader screen. see if the following link helps
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_Unbrick
I forgot to mention i do have hard spl 1.40 ollipro
do i need to upgrade to the 2.10xx ollipro?
also looking at the unbrick from the wiki i need to
"flash only nbh containing os"
now i'm not sure where i can get this "nbh" file containing os and how i can flash it without being able to sync via usb cable since it doesn't get passed att logo splash screen...
BUT
I can go to the tricolor bootloader...
so if anyone can direct me on how i can get the "nbh" file containing os only
(not the nbh file containging radio only)
and how i can do so via the tricolor bootloader, i will give you a pat on the back! i have warm hands so you'll get healing from it also..

Pick a ROM (make sure it's OS only, most are), uncompress it, look for a file (usually. I've never seen a cooked ROM that didn't have this filename as the OS image, but one never knows) named "RUU_signed.nbh".
That that file and read the wiki on flashing the phone using an SD card.

HTC logo NOT BOOTING HD2

I have searched far and wide to solve this problem and have finally found the solution somewhere hidden amongst pages and pages of text.
I tried installing Android onto my phone until it stopped at the boot process (white screen with green HTC logo) and that was it... I have seen many people asking how to get around this problem. Here is what I found:
1. Enter boot loader by holding down volume down button and the on/off/hold button.
2. When the screen with red, green, blue, white colours comes up connect the phone to your PC and start ActiveSync. In the white bit USB should show up instead of serial.
3. Now install ROM update form HTC website.
That's it! I spent 2 days trying to create a GoldCard to boot the ROM from my micro SD card until I saw this hidden somewhere.
Hope this helps!
Firstly, this is not hidden, it is almost the default answer to stuck on boot up screen.
Secondly, why are you goldcarding? If you have a 3.14 ROM, downgrade it to a non3.14 ROM (taking great care that it is one suitable for your phone). Install HSPL to 2.08.HSPL flash a .50 RADIO (2.08.50 or higher) then go through the process of flashing the NAND Android. If you are dual booting and simply running Android of the SD card, then you probably don't need to flash anything.

[Q] Stuck on HTC logo screen. Argh!!!

Flashed ROM Froyo 2.2 (on MicroSD). Ran HaRet.exe and runs for about 2 seconds and then switches to HTC logo screen. I've tried it again and again and still have the same results. SPL 2.08. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to update the hardspl to a different version?
Ps...please don't get angry if this is the wrong forum. I searched and could not find a solution.
You need to flash a compatible radio first, one with .50 in it, check the winmo section for more info
Flashed LEO 2.12.50.2. Same results-stuck on logo screen.
DAmmit! I can get to the bootlog screen but phone itself wont' boot up.

[Q] htc hd2 is not starting after flashing

Dear expert,
I bought my htc hd2 in saudi Arabia. I had reset this phone by mistake by clicking on value added button and after that a language prob appeared. Anyways one of my friends flashed my phone with new english language rom for ease and install anderiod as well but the only issue was, when i was using internet, it was getting heat and resetart itself.
So I thought that it might be a problem of anderiod with windows, what i did was, i remove and formated the sd card first on my pc then inserted into my phone and flash it with the same rom, but after that my phone doesn't boot fully upto home screen. It does go to the boot option where we get the different strips of color like red green blue and white with some info on the screen like (note: I don't know what these were originally but now all these info are what depicted belwo)
PB81100 SS-BC, SPC-2.08.HSPL 8G XE, 0X05, CotullaHSPL 05X0 and USB
but doesn't start fully after reseting, always freez at the white screen with htc and nothing else:-(
Till now I tried different forum tips for the help, flashed many times with different rom but still the same prob, doesn't completely start upto home screen, always freezed as mention above.
Please help me, what should I do, so that my phone become as it was originally?
Which version of rom or some other software i should download and try to flash it and from where i should download the correct one.
Some of the infos of my phone are as follows,
htc hd2
SN: SH06PNW02764
Firstly, remove your serial number.
Now, if you want your device "as originally as it was" you need to download HSPL Package and remove HSPL 2.08 from your phone.
By the way, what radio are you using?
Is that a US T-Mobile version or another Vendor version !? as your serial number does not pull up a ROM selection on HTC's website !
With device correctly identified we can probably find a ROM & try flash via SD might be good option should you want HSPL ect all removed in one flashing step
Problem does sound more like quite common mainboard fault experienced by quite a few users of multiboot HD2s, but lets hope not ....

[Q] My HD2 Tmous is currently stuck at 10% in re-stocking ROM

I just got HD2 Tmous from ebay for parts to fix another that I sliced and cut the LCD flex cable. The phone is in great condition and after I put in the battery from my old phone it booted up and stuck on stick together screen. I booted up to the bootloader tri-color screen and it displayed the following:
PB8112 HX-B3
SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G XE
0x05
CotullaHSPL 0x05
After I used the USB cable to connect to my PC running Windows 7, the Serial at the bottom changed to USB. I downloaded Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 and installed and run it. The WMDC said USB not connected. I found the thread "Stuck on Stick Together Screen" with similar problem and was solved by re-stocking the ROM from Tmous. I downloaded it but renaming from exe to zip did not work in order to extract the LEOIMG.nbh. I found another thread "[TUT] Flash your ROM / Radio via microSD" and downloaded it. I copied the ROM to my FAT32 1GB SD card, inserted it in the phoned, booted it into the bootloader, and flashed it. It is now stuck at 10% for more than an hour.
LEOIMG.nbh
RADIO_V2 -
RCUST -
BOOTLOADER -
SPLASH1 -
OS
CONFIGDATA. -
Update in Progress...
(progress bar stuck at about 10%)
I forgot to verify that the ROM is for HD2 Tmous and don't know what it is - the thread did not mention it.
What should I do now?
Thanks in advance.
The part, where you stuck at 10% is the part, where it flashes the Radio Image. I stuck at it, when i choose the wrong ROM. Do you know, which ROM was the original one for your phone? Look it up on the internet and try it with it.
I saw, you wanted to extract the .NBH file. Try it with the Software "WinRAR". When you installed it, go to your RUU-Extractor file, right-click it and choose the point "Open in Winrar..." or sth like that.
I hope, that was a little help
Thanks,
I got it from ebay so i don't know its history. After more than 3 hours stuck at 10% and found out from other thread the ROM from Tmous was not a normal zip file that can be viewed directly from Windows Explorer, I used WinRar to extract the NBH file and pulled the battery out and put back in. The phone was rebooted and got the triangle failure symbol; I pulled the battery out and put back in and booted into the bootloader - it displayed these additional info: RUUNBH at top right and Upgrade ROM code error Please try again at the center. Also, the serial did not change to USB anymore.
(omitted some steps) I flashed the leoimg.nbh file downloaded from Tmous and the same problem happened.
Since ActiveSync does not connect to the phone and the bootloader does not function properly, any utility required ActiveSync and flashing with properly function bootloader will not work. I think there is no way for me to flash the Radio ROM, right? Is there any utility or mode that will tell me which version of Radio currently in the phone?
I am thinking of trying to flash the same HSPL and MAGLDR and see what happens after reading some more threads.
(omitted some steps) I flashed the leoimg.nbh
Click to collapse
so it doesnt say 'fail' next to anything on the blue writing/grey background screen when you flash from sd card? like next to RADIO_V2 -? because it sounds like a pretty standard stuck radio (or stuck spl, tell me, did teh spl line change from your first post? (("(omitted some steps)" dont ommit anything, full detail is the only way to get accurate answers.))
Mostly this never gets fixed without a jtag, but sometimes trying all teh various roms for that particular phone (you sure its a tmous? if it is, DO NOT flash anything you didn't get from the tmous/htc website,,, if it doesnt work and you get frustrated after 100 attempts, and its late at night, dont think "oh ill just try a non tmous one, just to see" cos it will die.)
Things to read up on and try are the freezer trick, chill the phone for a while, then quickly try an sd flash (forget about usb flashing, if you are gonna fix it, its most likely sd that will do it),, trying various tmous stock roms (if you go in the tmous stock roms thread, DO NOT flash the first one in the list, , its not a real tmous rom and will brick you,, teh second and third would also be best avoided, with the manufacturing spl's, because going back to normal stock is tricky, , not impossible, but a pain none the less),, also have a play with hspl3 or 4, see if you can change the spl, because sometimes its the spl thats stuck, and not the radio (however sticking at 10% and not seeing anything next to RADIO_V2 - makes it almost certainly the radio,)
Nothing - no additional info besides the progress bar stuck at 10% described in 1st post and the SPL line did not change. I think the phone now has the exact info except there is nothing where serial was displayed before (yellow text info on red background) as my first post.
Omitted some steps: these are just steps to copy the ROM downloaded from Tmous website to the sd card for flashing (T-Mobile_HD2_MR_software_3.14.531.1.exe).
Yes, it's a Tmous. The void sticker is still there and the touch screen has the T-Mobile logo.
I knew that I had to flash Tmous ROM because HD2 Tmous has 1GB of ROM instead of the normal 512MB.
Unfortunately, most of shipped ROM links are broken. I wanted to try the 2.10.x.
Thank you for your help.
