my magician falled from my hand
bat and bat cover droped off !
after i reattached them to my mag it made a hard rest but with no back light
it works fine now but now back light at all i went to settigns
and raised back light to top but no thing changed can any body help me plzzzzzzzzzz
dump :
now i detached the screen golden cable from main bored and reattached it back
now back light is fine but screen on blue first screen is white then more colored lines apears and then i see mobile 6 grean screan at the midle of screen but not clearly !
i repeat the process again but with the same result ?
give it to me... I need it for developing new FP
err... I think LCD is broken...
no lcd is not cracked or broken like it was !

LCD Connector damaged?
maybe but i don't think cuz its enter till it touch some thing inside the white adapter
then it enters frm one side only left or right but not both like there is som thing in !
opps i can't try couttula works any more !

i jus changed the housing on my xda mini now it starts but nothing is on the screen, i hear the sound and bottons light up... ive check connector is in firmly however ive accidently broken the connector lock, does it need the lock in place for it to work...
if not what else can i try
also my flashing status light isnt fashing although fone is on (screen still not on) i get a white flash now and then on screen... and sometimes weird back lines..?

It is important that the flat cable has a good contact with the connector. I also broke the lock but placed a thin rigid plastic to keep the flat cable pressed down and then some tape on top to keep it in place.
nah didnt fix it, ah well another door stop..
the ribbon myt b broken....i think u'll need to replace display and da touchscreen too
try looking at ribbon cable carefully !
hi my wizard touch screen barely works now im hoping it is only the makeup my wife has gotten into the sides. I have it taken apart now and cleaned up but the is ablack spot on the cable for the digitizer I think that's what it is the screen ontop of the lcd. if the digitizer is bad is there any way to tell before I put it back together again. its just a small dot not near the copper part. any help would be appriciated. thanks!!!

My HD2 also goes black during a phonecall and stays black. I think that de proximitysensor is to sensitive. How can you adjust this?
May be its dead.I have similar problem after dropping the phone in water once.

I bet you lost one from the two "transparant plastic light conductors" or they are dirty. Bring the transparent light conductor back to the middle-chassis and everything is ok...

You find these two ( one is for the Screen ON/OFF during a Call and the other for LCD Contrast automatic ajustment. More Contrast if sun hits; less in the dark idf this option is activated ) transparent plastic guys on the left side on the top from the Middle-Chassis next to the "Batterie Charging-Indicator" under the Metal-Grid. Very important and if you don´t have an eye during the dissassembling process, they get easy lost or dirty from the Sticky Tape ( they have to be clean and free ).
If there´s still both there, i bet they are dirty. You only have to clean the Transparent Plastik-Channels and the Sensors on the Flexboard-Electronic on the other channel side. And very important: The Touchscreen have to put together with the LCD ( only important for people they separate the Touch or LCD only ) perfect. The Touch have to lay precise on these to Light-Channels !!!! ).
It´s easy to understand ( without explanation and open eyes ), but i know exact the same Problems from a lot other German HD2 TimTaylor Bindford Users. How so often, the Problem sits in front of the HD2.

Hi all,
I had a touchscreen issue (sometimes not working) in my HD2 so I ordered a new fabric screen+lcd assemby. I replaced it very carefully but now when I plug new lcd it is not working. Phone is working, buttons, vibration, hear the sound when turning on but there is only backlight on display and just shows black screen. I am sure that display is ok because I tried to put old one (wich was still working before replacement) and it has same issue (backlight works but display is black). Can you give me some ideas what is wrong ????

The flex cable is not attached correctly or the main board is broken and before you close your phone try it. If you can't do this give someone your phone and he will recover for you.
The problem is sloved. I dissasambled all phone and fix it once again and now it works. Anyway I got another problem of white screen on my second device. Did anybody find a solution for white screen ever????

Have you tried turning phone on with volume down button pressed???

Yes I have read this before but I think that white screen problem is not sloved in this thread. But maybe I could be wrong.
Hi there i helped my friend with changing his xa lcd we succeced and everything works but notification led is not working(it works but does not show up on lcd screen) can you guys tell me what did i do wrong.
We checked lcd before replacing it has a led place on screen.

I have the same problem. The LED does work, but because of the way it's designed it doesn't line up with the window in the display. There should be a little plastic tunnel that uses total internal reflection to direct the light to the hole in the screen. However, the replacement screens you and I bought didn't have the plastic light tunnel that directs the light to the window, so you can't see the LED. You could steal the plastic bit from the old one, but you'd have to remove the screen from the frame (which it's glued to) so I wouldn't recommend it.

Did u put Mother Board Properly.if not just open and put it properly the way it fit to the dot on LCD
Menu-Settings-Notifications-Setting Icon on Top Right-Notification Light-turn it on of off. take a try if not reach me back here.:good:
