i flashed with swiftblades V4 blue. the flash worked good, as it was suppost to but now the elf reboots itself ever 5 to 10 minutes or so. Also there is no entry for Rogers Data Plan in the network wizard. is there a way I could add that to the wizard?

I had the same problem, if you have IPL and USPL 3.07 or higher you just have to downgrade the IPL and USPL tot 2.28.0000 or lower
Yes the problem in IPL this rom is an upgradre of an old rom (i think based on WM6) so you have two choices either change IPL or change rom

Hi i have 2 part question my phone is an htc 8125 cingular sim card unlocked phone it has windows mobile 5 on it and i have the IPL 1.05, SPL.3.08 on it.
I did this but installing the IPL_SPL_3.08 rom. Anyways Im trying to get it back to IPL 1.05, and SPL 1.05 by installing the button rom and i seen the beer screen and it loads up to windows mobile 5 but keeps staying at IPL 1.05, and SPL 3.08 is there away to get it back to 1.05,1.05. I tried a few methods but aint working. Would keep reflashing a few times with the button roms get it back to 1.05,1.05. I tried with, newromupdateutility_wizard_noid. and didnt work i tried with rom update and didnt work. When a rom loads up and gets stuck at 99% and then i get a message with activesync saying lost communication error message whats does that mean and it saying try restore.
Also can windows mobile 6 with touch flo install on this phone or no. I was tring to do that with but all i got was it going back to windows mobile 5 and doesnt upgrade to wm6. Do i first need it to get it back to 1.05,1.05 using the button rom then use ,lokiwiz02b to do the unlocking(mind you my phone is all ready sim unlocked). and then flash a t-mobile or cingualr rom and then do the update with a windows mobile6 rom.
Whats a good windows mobile 6 with touch flo that works good on this phone can u maybe post a link

First,you shud have CID unlocked the phone prior to upgrading to 3.08 bootloaders,cuz it becomes very difficult and frustrating to downgrade from 3.08 to 1.xx.Now the only way is to first try to downgrade to 2.xx by flashing the official carrier's rom and when completed downgrade to 1.xx through Button's 1.05.You can only CID unlock the phone,if its 1.xx,which you already know.
Secondly,it'll only upgrade to wm6 if its cid unlocked.Try to flash ipl/spl 3.08 again and make both ipl/spl 3.08 first and then downgrade to 2.xx by flashing the official stock rom,it might work.

Got here friends htc wizard (MDA VARIO). After dunno what only boot screen appears and thats all. Bootmanager is accessable.
IPL 1.01
SPL 3.08
GSM 01.12.10
OS 1.5.4.2
I am able to put there button rom, but thats all. I tried many roms, but noone can be instaled. Also tried love wizard rom. I dont have the original rom.
Batery is loaded up to max.
Any suggestions?
Ok solved, it was problem with flash tool.
EDIT: still i dont have any functional ROM. The love wizard rom doesnt boot up. I dont have access to original rom. I am nearlly at end of ideas.
I was able to load there this ROM:
RUU_Vario_AKU3.3_3822_382120_026911_TMO_DE_GER_Ship.exe
But still it freezes on boot screen.
Please, anybody got a rom, that works in a Mda Vario from slovakia? Its for sure cid blocked and i dont have a functional rom.
Hard reset is not possible. He says, that failure at format. Any body got some idea????
maybe you can try to update your IPL to 3.08 and GSM to 2.x

i have rogers htc touch, after trying unlocking using ELF USPL , when i power on only see HTC Logo and then it goes off, i try loading new rom but still same problem . Please help
What is your IPL and SPL?
IPL is 2.21.0002
and
SPL 1.11.0000
I had the same problem...took me 3 hours to figure it out..
1. on Bootloader, re-install a ROM that works (go back to WM6 or WM6.1)
2. when it working, install USLP 1.11
3. DO NOT RESET AFTER...
4. install USLP 3.14
5. then you can install any WM6.5 ROM
For some reasons, the Rogers Touch has some difficulties to upgrade directly, even if it's unlocked...

But, after reading a lot yesterday, seems that the USLP 3.14 is a ''battery eater''...
I'm testing it now..I will see in a couple of days if it is the case!
So far, it looks like it's using approx 2% of the battery per hour...
Definitely, you should always use 3.10.
I had a bad experience with 3.14, it takes up half of my battery after 5 hours of almost no usage.

After a CID unlock and soft reset, the phone will reboot into the old ROM (Rogers, in my case) if i have not began flashing a new rom ??

I have tried to flash a wiza200 that was already flashed with a manila rom, I checked that it is a G4. I used TNT.20273 Professional Wizard HTC Home FREE ROM, it seems to work , romupdate utility indicated that the device was flashed successfully but it reboots on bootloader screen. I tried to reflash it it gave the same result, I tried another rom but impossible to flash it with other roms. So I downloaded the official one from the operator O2 but I got "invalid vendor" message. I searched all the possible solutions but none of them worked( wizard love also). Is there a savior here ? someone who can give me the right procedure to follow.

You must replace the Update.exe with a MaUpgradeUT_NoID.exe . Found here in Forum . Look in "Blue Angel" for it. Be sure that you flash the right ROM with it . It will no ask...

My ELF worked fine before I tried to upgrade its IPL from 1.11.0002 to 2.26.0002, then this problem occur. Because a WM 6.1 ROM requires to have IPL 2.27.0002 and SPL 2.28.0000 so I kept continue upgrade the IPL/SPL to 2.27.0002 and 2.28.0000.
I tried to flash my ELF, from bootloader mode, with these ROMs:
- RUU_Elf_DOPOD_chs_1.11.706.1B, this ROM I got from a China forum, it is my device original ROM
- RUU_Elf_DOPODASIA_WWE_1.11.707.1B_4.1.13.42_02.93.90_Ship.exe
- RUU_Elf_DOPODASIA_WWE_1.17.707.2B_4.1.13.46_02.97.90_BLUE_Ship.exe
- RUU_Elf_HTC_Asia_HK_WWE_1.15.721.3B_4.1.13.46_02.97.90_BLUE_Ship.exe
- ESSential_4_5
- Onyx_jr_4_4_2_Light
They are all 100% successfull but the IPL/SPL unchanged (2.27.0002 and 2.28.0000) and the device still loop at smart mobility, can not jump into OS.
I did try to use unbricker ROM and goldcard (with original ROM or unbricker ROM inside) but the ELF still stuck at smart mobility...
Please give me your advices, what should I do (except buying a new phone)?

First try to flash your official ROM and then try to flash ipl/spl again follow step by step. After that try to flash customize ROM again. Hope you will success.

When I flash the original ROM, 100% successful, then my ELF loop at the China Mobile screen then reset... I don't have the IPL1.11.0002 and SPL 1.11.0000, the lowest I have is IPL1.17.0002 and SPL1.17.0000. I tried to flash back the 1.17 version, after 100% successful, enter bootloader, the IPL 2.27.0002 and SPL 2.28.0000 still remain!?
Please tell me how to do!

After flash back to official ROM , enter bootloader and check ipl/spl first.
Normally, if you flash ipl/spl (not hard spl) when you flash back to the official ROM the ipl/spl will back to original. S/R - wait for boot to WM if OK then do H/R again. And flash ipl/spl again - enter bootloader and check ipl/spl again (changed or not) if OK after that I recommended you flash Onyx ROM. I used it for long time and no trouble.

How you flashed ROM ? By RUU (PC) or used microSD card. I recommened you to use RUU (PC) follow step by step. Sometime when I used microSD card to flashed ROM , it's successful but cannot boot, after that I flashed Official ROM by RUU and unlocked the phone again it's back to normal. And your official ROM, you must check with your operator or distributor because in different zone it's use diferent ROM.

I only can flash via PC RUU, I don't succeed in SD card way:
- When I copy the *.nbh file into SD card, then enter bootloader, I just can see the checking SD card content string displayed very fast, then the tri color screen.
- When I create a goldcard and copy *nbh file into it, enter bootloader, the brick ask for 'upgrading SD image', I press power button for it to start download but it hang at 'downloading from SD' with a blank download status bar.
Actually I bought this ELF from a man on my local site, so I don't know where is the distributor...I used the mtty and usb monitor to check for my device infor, then search internet for my original ROM, I only can find in a China forum that match my deviceID/CID....
For my case, I really don't know why I can not change its IPL/SPL version? Please help me!!!
