Ok, so when i first got the TD2 i bought a 16gb mem with it, but about 2 weeks in, it just wiped my memory card and made it useless, trying it on the computer, on the phone, even in a camera brought nothing up. I was hoping it was the memory card faulty. So i bought a new 16gb and it's gone and done it again. Just randomly, whilst using coreplayer to watch some blue, my phone froze. so i did a soft reset and now my mem card has disappeared. all my apps saved it it have gone, all my pics...just everything
what the hell is going on?
I use spb shell, luckily that was saved to my phone so i stil have it, but half the apps on it don't work now
I installed Advanced Config 3.3 and turned on SD-card powermanagement... shortly after that I lost one 8GB sandisk card ... Diamond2 could not see it anymore. My PC could not see it anymore.... Maybe it was the Advanced Config setting that somehow broke it or maybe it was coincidence?? ****ty thing is I didn't make a backup so lost a lot of nice pictures on it...
If you use activesync, you would need to configure WM device center to NOT replace items on the device. Switch that to replace items on desktop.
If its not that, then maybe shell is the culprit. Or advanced config.

Nope, it's not just deleted data. In my case the SD-card is really broken. I cannot open it in any device anymore.
I had this problem with my Xperia twice, and I'm far from convinced that the TD2 is any more stable.
I haven't tracked down what is causing it, but I have never had any problems with SD cards in all my years with PalmOS or Symbian devices. I think it is just a 'feature' of Windows Mobile because the system is unstable and prone to crashes which corrupt the cards.

Well corruption can usually be repared by a format or something like that but in my case the card isn't even recognized by the system anymore, it just won't show up.'
this has happened to me too. twice!

Really? Talk about 'give a dog a bad name'. If you knew a little more you'd soon realise it has zip zero and sweet buggerall to do with WM, which is stable, flexible and reliable, though the UI is admittedly rather dated, and everything to do with HTC's implementation.

Yep twice with me as well
once with normal TF3D and once with SPB shell
Just totally broken my card...tried using 2 usb readers and 2 computers with it...nothing
tried putting it into an sd card converter and putting into 2 cameras...nothing
Be warned people!
Back up your stuff! TD2 looks like it enjoys corrupting micro sd cards and making you pay for more
perhaps HTC has a contract with Sandisk or something
Keeps sandisk bringing in profits in this troubled time of recession

Our opinions differ it seems, but unless someone finds the actual cause we will never know the truth.
My apologies for not knowing much - I am trying to learn WM after many years on other platforms. All I have to go on is my personal experiences with 4 WM devices (all originating from HTC), and those experiences are not great. WM has a bad name in my eyes, from direct personal experience. Maybe I am maligning it falsely if the true cause of the problems I experience lies elsewhere...I am willing to have an open mind.
I am several £££ out of pocket, having lost 2 16GB cards to these devices - a problem I have only ever suffered with HTC/WM. Given that HTC is the leading manufacturer of WM devices it does not reflect well on either them or the OS platform they are working with that they cannot create stable bug-free systems.
Are these genuine memory sticks?
I work in repairs and I have had a number of HTC devices along with others too that have had this issue.
It turned out that on average, 7/10 devices had fake memory sticks from reputable vendors who were duped.
1/10 were corrupt memory cards just from use/standard wear and tear or just corrupt out of factory.
and the last 1/10 was a faulty memory card reader on the device -
I had an original SANDISK 8GB micro-SD card in it. I now have a 6GB in it which still is OK for now... But backups will be made. I am going to get me another 8GB card and possible trade in the broken one (warranty)... these things should not brake this soon.. the card was 3 weeks old!! If the second one also breaks than maybe it's a D2 problem??
edit: I have to notice that it broke down I did turn on the SD-card powermanagement save option from Advanced Config.... maybe that's the cause??
I've had my 16gb card in the phone since April 15th when I got my unit...not one issue touch wood so touch its the phone ... if anything, it might be your specific unit but I would still bet on the card itself
As an example, I got a 32GB USB stick from Kingston - so not exactly a small make
Within a week, I lost 31.8GB and was left with 2mb.
Data has gone and is not retrievable. Kingston have now tested and diagnoised the memory is corrupt and unfixable so they are replacing it.
So it can happen
An advice: Whenever you do a operation such as backup or something, do not charge your phone!! That really hurt your SD card....

what do you mean? Like no charge when on activesync? I can't see
why that would hurt the card.
Did you guys format your mem cards before using them?
I have a stack of SanDisk MicroSD cards (256mb, 1gb, 2gb, 4gb hc, 8gb hc and 16Gb hc). My 16Gb and 4GB cards both had faults (the 16gb one wouldn't format and the 4gb one just didn't work and wasn't even recognised as being in my phone or card reader).
SanDisk have a 5 year warranty, so I registered all of my cards on their website, reported the fault and had them replaced. The whole process took about 4 weeks, but they sent me brand new 16gb and 4gb cards.
Sometimes flash media just fails...
maybe you all should get transcend.. they give you lifetime warranty...
Yep, but I lost my reciept ... and I need that to trade in.. But yesterday a bought a new one... maybe I use the new reciept to trade in the old.. cards are the same size en look the same.. so i'll probably get away with that.
Me too - lost the 8 GB card in my TD2 last week, it's completely unreadable now, can't be formatted, etc. Never happened to me before. Hope this isn't s.th. serious with the TD2...

I used my Qtek 9100 with a PQI 512mb miniSD for a good few weeks and it worked flawlessly. I had another unbranded 2gb miniSD card and decided to copy everything on to that and use it so I'd have more space for music. To cut a long story short, this worked fine for a few days then I started noticing WMPlayer acting up. I checked the card and loads of files seemed to be corrupt. After playing around with it for a while I eventually gave up and decided it must be a duff card.
So, I bought a 2gb PQI miniSD which I had read good reviews off. However, I'm having the same issue. I've tried everything I can think of 1) hard resets, 2) soft resets 3) re-installing apps 4) formatting in a couple of different PCs with a couple of different card readers 5) formatting from the StorageTools on the phone 6) formatting using WM5torage.
I can install apps and they seem to be okay, but then when I try and run them I get errors and when I look at the card its because of corrupt files.
I have no idea what is going on and I'm at the end of my tether.
I'm using the latest Qtek 9100 ROM from their website. Is this perhaps a bug in the ROM? Would I be better with another ROM? Which one? Will this still leave my 'phone SIM unlocked if I use a non-standard ROM?
HELP? Please?
Hey,
I do hope this is within this topic!
I've got aLmost the same problem, except I have some files just disapear on my 2GB mini, and some stay!
Lost a GIG of music, and most of my WORD docs, [60MB] and it left me 2MBs after removing Skype!
Real WEIRD!
Ive got a 8125 and stuff on the SD card just disappears after I remove an app!
Since this has happed more than 3 times and the 2GB mini tested OK, whats up with the device!
Is it the connections in the device to the SD card, or what?
Thanks for XDA-developers!
I have a 2gb card in my Qtek 9100. I've had it for about 2 weeks, and I got the card the day after I got the 9100. Sofar I haven't noticed any missing files. It's a 2gb Sandisk
I just thought to add this. Do you have the enhanced performance option in RegistryWizard enabled, or have you made the registry change to enable caching of the file system?
I was noticing that my recent programs on the start menu were being lost on occasion during a soft reset. I disabled that "enhanced performance" (caching) and that problem has disappeared. It makes sense that it would cause data loss or corruption, since data is being cached, if the cache doesn't write out before you reset, you loose everything in cache. I didn't notice any real world performance increase, so I will just leave that disabled.
If you have that setting enabled, and soft reset often, then that might explain the data loss/corruption
Success!
Well, I got hold of CnetX Flash Format program and this seems to have done the trick. I installed it and tried formatting the 2gb card as FAT32 - this gave the same problems I had before.
Formatted it as Fat 16 with 32k Cluster and lo and behold its working like a dream. Copied all my stuff from 512Mb card to it and now I'm syncing all my music over.
Fingers crossed it stays this way!
Scrub that......
.....just failed syncing my music over. Managed to get 950Mb of stuff on the card and then it started doing exactly what it was doing before. Hmmm....i'm really stuck now.
Howdy,
Well now today all my stuff on the care is gone POOF excect one little word file and a few omaclock things and a few folders!
All music is gone but the music folder is there WOW!
I already reformatted a few weeks ago to Fat 32 form the other one!

Yep I moved 1 + GBs music into a "music" folder again!
Installed a app from xda, here called omanclockscaller.exe or something like that and set the overclock (speed of the processor) to 240 and the underclock to 150 (which was stated to work on another 8125)
and my device FROZE to the max couldn't soft reset or nothing so I had to do the HARD reset!
Looked in the SD card saw the folder "music" and NOTHING in it, just blank!
All subfiles were gone, POOF!
When to the main area of the SD card and ticked on a Mp3 file that was sitting there and it said player said "file stopped." 70%
Went to another MP3 file, tapped, and it said blah, blah "end of file" and would not play!
SO everything on the SD card, cept dah empty folders are either
1. corrupted
OR
2. GONE bye bye!
So NOW since the 8125 might not be the "slowest" brick on the block, and wont run, Skype unless its "overclocked," and I can't go thru another 50 some pages on xda to find the "fix" for dah SD wiping weirdness, and the overclocking tricks of the techs, I guess I get to go to Cingular, exchange dah phone (as it ain't no good as a PDA, but a great heavy phone) and than sell the NEW one on ebay for 350 with the New 2200MHz extended battery, and someone who is more techey than I can enjoy tweaking the thing!
Ive done 5 full Hard resets and have had to redo most everything, 5 times, settings etc, and its getting real time consuming, to state the least!
So since I got this pos on ebey and it has a 2yr. warrantee I guess its getting ready to get gone!
Hope someone like d0ug can help you out, really!
Later!
What brands are the Memory Cards? Where did you buy them from? Is it just in the Wizard that the card is being corrupt or does it work flawlessly in a memory card reader? Cause from what I've read it sounds like PEBKAC.
Card brand
My first card was unbranded so not overly surprised I had problems. This one is PQI but I think perhaps its because PQI cards are MLC (multi layer construction). Apparently Sandisk are SLC (single layer construction) and they should work okay.
I might just have to fork out more money and see.
The card works perfectly in my PC with card reader.
Excuse the ignorance but what is PEBKAC (or should I not ask!)?

Does the MLC/SLC thing sound viable? Has anybody got experience of using Sandisk 2Gb cards with the Wizard?
Hey scottjames,
I don't know if this helps as I was using Winamp files and wasn't using Win Media on my PC so that may be why the files got corrupt or just disapeared when I went in again and tried to play them!
So I diched Winamp and am using the gates special and so far so good!

Cingular is going to exchange my phone for too many other reasons!

I've been using a SanDisk 2GB card to capacity sine April of this year, I change the contents of the card pretty often as I use it as my mp3/video player, using both the WM5Storage program and a memory card reader in my PC. Has been flawless.

I filled my card lastnight, and have used the pda as normal thoughout the day today. accessed files, copied files, created files, deleted files. I'm not having any issues with my sandisk 2gb.
Thanks
Thanks everyone. I'll maybe just get myself a Sandisk card and let you know how I get on.
I have a Sandisk 2GB and whilst not experiencing the issues above I do have other problems.
When accessing eBooks via Microsoft Reader or playing video files via TCPMP the device will occasionally freeze and the apps cant even be killed by the taskmanager. I have a standard TMobile install and these are the only two additional apps that have been installed.
Ejecting the card usually frees it up.
To be fair I haven't yet tried the card in another device to establish if the card itself is faulty.
Well the camera is slow and acting weird, but even more weird is that it started to restart everytime after i take a picture.
I'm with 8GB microSD card from my old htc HD (which i don't know which class is and if it might be slow and that causes the problem? )
Did that happen to anyone? Or at least do you know what's the class of the factory htc hd card and if that could be possibly an issue?
p.s.
i dont have any other cards handy at the moment to test a bit
I've heard that its good to have class 6 and above. Anything less is creating stability problems for the nexus.

That's completely false. Google wouldn't be shipping the phone with a class 2 card if that were true and that's not what's causing the problem. I don't know what is but best bet is to re flash your phone.
the nexus factory card is class 2?
I guess the factory htc HD cars is also class 2? Can someone confirm that, since i can't find info online.
is there another way to format the card from the phone, other than the "Format SD card" option in settings, which considering how fast "formats" i guess it's just erasing the fat table?
And do you think that unproper formatting might be a problem for android? This is card from a windows mobile phone.
That's where i'm coming from too, so excuse me for the dumb questions
Yes, it's a class 2, 4gb SD Card. I should know since I own a Nexus One. My brother had a memory card formatted by a blackberry but used it just fine on his Moto Cliq but your card may be corrupt. You could use Windows to do a full format and then just pop it back in and it will work. Just right click and click format, I believe.
Also there is no other way to format it via your phone and you can find out your card class by looking at the card there should be a small number with or without a circle around it, that's the class.

You have a one year warranty with Google. Call HTC and explain, they'll help.
yeah well im not even in the countries where they sell, and waiting for the phone to go there and back will be at least a month....
My HD2 just arrived courtesy of my insurers (Lloyds TSB - regarding lost Hero replacement) without a micro SD card. They say HTC no longer include them with the HD2 - I didn't believe this so I called HTC and they've confirmed they do still ship with them - email confirmation winging it's way to me.
I guess the phone's storage is still usable to a degree via 200Mb or so onboard - until I get a new card that is? Phone is currently charging so I'm having to wait a couple of hours to find out anyway.
Cheers
Yes mate, it's perfectly usable without an SD card. You will want to get one ASAP though, as the device memory can fill up pretty quick once you start installing apps. I tend to install everything that is not required for the phone to work on the SD card, but there's no reason that you have to do this.
Enjoy your new phone
Nice one, cheers for that.
BTW, what's the best practice for storage, especially for apps/tweaks/updates, etc? Should they go straight on the phone? I used to have a Tytn II but can't remember what I did.
Tweak apps, such as bsb tweak, HD2 tweak etc should be installed don the device, normal apps such as games can be installed on the sd card
Cool - thanks.
Do we forget that the MicroSD card shipped with the device is a class 2? Which means the less read/write operations it has to perform, the better, yes?
So before we start installing apps to the SD card instead of phone memory, shouldn't we get a class 4 SDHC or class 6 card?
mine shipped woth a sd card. class 2. gonna get a class 6 as i write to it lots
i dont think u need to wait for it charging. i had mine on from when i plugged it in first day. battery seems fine from the amount o use it.
Well, it's all charged up and I'm having my first play. Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be any sound coming out of the speaker - the headphones work but that's it. Can't find any settings that are disabling the speakers. Don't tell me I have a new phone with dodgy h/w! Will have a search on these boards ...
I installed almost everything (except a few games which I hardly play anyway) on the device memory itself.
My thinking was that as long as the device is not full it is ok, and the less reading and writing you do the the SD card, the better for the battery.

Get a class 6. A transcend 8GB card is about £13 from amazon. If you look at the accessories board there are several places that will do it slightly cheaper (i remember somone even posting a 20% discount code for one site).

I installed Bsb Tweaks and JWMD Icon changer on my SDcard and they are working perfectly. It seems logical to install those on the device but unless it's absolutely vital I don't want do that.
I'm very disappointed After two+ month of Focus usage, it was broke yesterday... Handset was not damaged or broken or overheat or frozen, nothing at all! Works perfect as well before (yesterday I've used this handset for development). It's just happened, at night time (and phone was not connected!)
The symptoms are: first I've found there is no picture on "Pictures", and Outlook calendar doesn't display any events. Second, the downloaded apps icons are disappear.
I suspected my SD card (8 Gb class 4 from Kingston) but seems like card is innocent. I've tried to make a hard reset of damn thing, tested all 3 possible methods but NOTHING helps! It's ridiculous, I never suspect it's possible in the modern world (it is XXI century, guys!)
After reset from "Settings->About" the handset imitate a "reset" but "About" shows total storage 15 Mb (!), 10 Mb available.
Why it just imitate reset? I can tell... After this pseudo-reset, I've removed SD card, and did hard reset using 3 buttons method (seems like damn M$ like 3 buttons stuff). Phone asked me twice (another M$ bull****) "Am I sure to format damn thing", I've said "Yes" (pressed "win" button twice), and after few seconds (it's not enough to format 8 Gb internal flash and restore firmware) it says "Done!" and reboot.
After reboot the "formatted" and "factory restored" phone displays all "formatted" contacts, applications, mail records etc...
"Settings"->"About" now displays total storage: 7.38 Gb, available 5.39
Also tried hard reset from "Diagnosis", same sh... thing.
Any suggestions?
UPDATE: Just called ATT for replacement. Will hope the new handset will pick-up my old SD card... Or I need to reformat it (using Nokia S60) first? Anyone have experience?
You had a typical sympton of SD card acting up. Nothing new there. I personally will not use ANY SD card at present. None of them are safe.
But I failed to see what's problem after you formated your phone. You will never see full 8GB of the storage. It is about 6.xxGB or so free after a fresh format without downloading any contacts or mails. Your numbers seems alright.

That could be also because not many ppl had the Samsung 16GB. They are not readily available to purchase.
A lot of ppl only encounter problems after couple months of flawless usage. And one day, it failed for no reason.
I think there is something wrong either in the hardware of Focus or Windows Phone 7 itself because Focus is the only phone had so much problem with microSD cards. I didn't read ppl who had their HD7 internal SD card replaced had any problem like Focus.
We also didn't see a single card being officially listed as compatible or certified for WP7. Something isn't right and Microsoft is not telling us why.
I'd strongly recommend against using any microSD card in Focus. Not until either MS or Samsung published their findings or recommendations.

The real problem is: the handset internal storage was not formatted at all! I've tried to do hard reset with or without SD card - same shi.. result Most annoying thing is these stupid utilities reported "Done!", "OK" as fools but nothing is done (it means the software quality - programs didn't check the results!)
From my experience (as a developer) looks like the internal storage (nand?) is damaged and unstable. A few minutes after cold boot it working; I can run some apps etc. But after few minutes it become unstable. Apps show an exceptions on isolated storage file etc.
I'm very disappointed; didn't expect that "surprise" from Samsung and MS...
P.S. My "old" developers Samsung Taylor (what I received and worked since August 2010) still alive and works fine
I saw reports, as well as personally experience, that it takes a few tries to format the phone correctly. Samsung quality is nothing to write home about (I have so many Samsung hardware that half of them does not work right out of box). But I suspect this is also a Microsoft issue.
I doubt your internal storage is damaged. Keep doing the 3-button reformatting until it is probably done. You will know it is formatted when it reboots and asks for your Live ID.

I personally have to format two or three times when my SD card crapped out. Just a suggestion. It is common on all Focus when SD card craps out.
You will have to switch to a different brand to avoid this issue then. Besides, warranty replacement gives you refurb phones only. Do you really want to return yours (which has a normal case of can't format the phone like every other Focus does) in exchange for a used one returned for other reasons by someone else.
But again, that's your choice.
As for your car analogy, save it for yourself. If Samsung is a car company, I won't ever buy a car from them. Simple as that.
Of course I've tried many times but have no luck at all. Seems like internal storage is damaged or it's a huge software bug (MS or Samsung).
Who's telling you about "refurb phones only"? I've spoken with AT&T rep and he told me it will be a brand new phone, not a refurb.
About Samsung quality: are you one from Samsung haters? I do have a Samsung Galaxy Tab, a few Android handsets (at office, development phones), Samsung TV, landline phone from Samsung - quality is PERFECT, never had any issue...
P.S. Or you just trolling me?
The only times you will get brand new ones are:
1. You're within 30 days of purchase and you exchange at the place of your purchase
2. AT&T warranty runs out of refurbed phones.
It is a standard practice for all AT&T warranty replacements to be refurb phones. I personally done twice in the past 10 years of with AT&T.

Call me what ever you want, I've owned 7 different Samsung Smartphones (from Windows Mobile phones to WP7 and Android), one Samsung BD player and one Samsung DVD player. My success rate to get a perfect Samsung product out of box so far is 50%.

Because I can't help it Same can be said with the Samsung Captivate I bought. I knew what I'm going to get into. But I still did it and now stuck with a phone that GPS never really works (but fortunate enough to not have the second critical issue, random shutdown). Basically, all Captivate produced from July to Nov 2010 are suspect to this randon shutdown hardware defects.
So I got this phone a few days ago. I use jet audio plus for my music and have about 30gb of music on my SD card. Pulled the card outta the old phone and put it in here. It reads it fine and saves all my photos. I noticed that the music app will sometimes go blank for a minute and my playlists will empty. After a few seconds, the music all comes back like it is rereading the SD card. First thought was maybe a problem with the app so I emailed the dev and they told me to troubleshoot and see if it happens with music not on the SD and then try music on the SD on Google play music.
Problem did not occur with music on internal memory. Problem did happen in Google play music. So then I checked my photo and noticed the galleries do the same thing and go blank for a second and then reload.
The memory card is maybe 2 months old and it's a higher quality one with a good speed rating. Before I was gonna reformat it, I figured I'd check online and see if anyone else reported an issue. Sure enough, I see samsung.com has a topic in their forum and tons of people are complaining about the same issue with many different sizes and types of cards. I was surprised that this wasn't posted here yet (at least from my quick searches).
Anyone else experience anything similar? Any feedback? News?
Auto correct changed S8 to So in the title*
Still no update on this issue. Thread on Samsung forum is 8 pages long of people troubleshooting, so far no solid fix. I'm not (knock on wood) experiencing the random reboot issues that others are. Perhaps those who are should download SD card monitor and see if their card is going crazy too.

All I can say that when my card started disconnecting like this on my previous Samsung phones, it went bad withing few weeks, I mean bad like not able to access it at all. If I may suggest, do full back of everything on that card, also check LOST.DIR, if anything is there you already have some files corrupted/lost. I don't know if this is SD card issue or phone error corrupting the card, but I lost about 4 cards this way over the years, but nothing recently and my S8 works fine.
Try backing up the card and reformatting in the new phone. I had a similar experience going from the s6 to the s7. No issues with s7 to s8, so far, though.
I've had very bad experiences with memory cards and cell phones. To be fair though, those were crappy memory cards I'd bought and I certainly got what I paid for. Now with this new 256gb Samsung EVO card, I'm hoping good things for it. Reviews certainly paint it in a good light.
I'm running the Xtreme level SanDisk. I am worried about the card being burnt up, but I don't know if it's the problem. Tried other cards like other people have in the topic I posted, same results.
I just want to say that I have personally have had VERY bad luck with SD cards I get off of Amazon. The ones I buy at a store never suffer such issues.
This is just my own personal experience, others may differ.
Sent from my Nexus 6 using XDA-Developers Legacy app
Issue still on going. More and more people reporting this on the Samsung forum.
Have people tried formatting using the phone? I haven't had a problem yet.
I formatted a Samsung 64gb ultra as card that I got from target with my phone. It disconnects. It has nothing to do with Amazon, or cheap sd cards.

One thing I thought of, make absolute sure the card is seated flush in the holder. Sometimes a corner will fight its way out. I put it on my desk and lightly pressed until it clicked. Obviously you may have too but I'm just trying to think of things before blaming the card reader in the phone.
Yes, people have tried all kinds of trouble shooting. A lot of people formatted in the phone and on the pc

Yeah right after I made my last comment I went and checked that. It didn't go back in until it was as flat as possible. It seems to be working so far. I also polished the pins with brass polish to ensure a proper connection. I'll come back later to update if everything stays okay or not.
Having the same sd card problems with my Sprint S8+. Sometimes it reads it and sometimes it doesn't(ghost icons) with constant different sd card notifications .
It's a new 256gb samsung evo pro card that came with the $99 immersive bundle from Sam but tried my 64gb pro card out of my Note 4 and same thing. Of course tried formatting, reseating card and sam support said it had to be encrypted which was no help. They did give me a ticket and label to send it to them for repair.'
Now the question I have.......are there people that are having NO sd card problems with putting apps and folders and such on it ????Wanting to know if it's a possible bug/software problem that will have a fix or a hardware problem with my phone and think that I should send it in. Never had any problems like this with my Note 4!
My sd card seems to be fine after reinserting it.
I have not come across any issues with my SD card (Samsung Evo 256GB) on US S8. No error messages what so ever. Actually kind of surprised, since in the past almost every Android version update brought some new permissions and messed up some form of SD card access. The messages about removing SD card is not normal and it will corrupt SD card if it happens during write cycle.

No apps. Hundreds of folders, thousands of files. SanDisk 200 gb.
I am getting some strange issues related with write permissions on micro sd with some apps. I think are related with encryption. I am testing.
No encryption, I don't believe in full encryption, most of the stuff is pictures and videos which don't need to be encrypted, for things that need to be secured I use secure folder or encrypt the file itself. Also I don't care what anybody says, encryption increases usage of CPU, slows it down and uses battery. It also increases the risk of corruption and file error and in case of some errors there is no way to access it from computer to recover data.

Update: disabled micro sd encryption today and write access permission issues seem to be solved so far.
Sd card disconnected again. So obviously the slot is loose garbage. I put the phone in my pocket while listening to music and the music stopped. I pulled the phone out and the sd card was unmounted. The sd was a huge reason I went with this phone and It's ****!
