Here's the flash menu ported from Samsung i718, Its very cool & working nice on my touch.

i dono yet. found this over at Ipmart yesterday though. I tossed it on my touch and my brothers mogul and its sweet. Even my mom was able to navigate WM6 once we showed her this. I'm sure someone will find out how to edit it real soon. Possible skins anyone???

I've read a few sites on this phone now and the opinion varies a bit. One place I found that was good for expert reviews and real life opinion on the Samsung SGH I718 even had a few photos and the like which i found helpful. Hope that helps others that landed here doing their own research:->

wm 6.1 pro

hey guys im still kind of new to this stuff. but right now i have windows 6.1 on my wing and its nice. but i seen a video on youtube with a wing that had 6.1 pro and it was AWESOME so i would like to know is there anywhere i can go and get that? oh yea and by chance can i ever downgrade back to the reg windows that came with the phone? and if i can do i just go to tmobile.com/wmupgrade ans starr from there?

What you have is already a PRO version as it is meant for all touch screen pocket pc device. Maybe you saw a different GUI effects which may be like TouchFLO 2D or so. If you can give a link to the YouTube video, we shall give you the suggestions.

That is not a "version" of or an iphone theme. It's just a ROM that has a lot of things put together to look like that. Looks like they have the old HTCHome with a skin on it, a Windows Mobile skin and S2U2 with a skin. It looks like an older ROM, actually, but I like the red theming. I don't know what ROM it is exactly, though. Oh, and that menu system is a somewhat buggy software... I forgot what it's called. It's hacked from an italian phone, I believe...

I do also Ivan ,thanks for that non useful paragraph. but can ANYBODY ELSE HELP ME????? im trying to see if i can get wm 6.1 pro or is that not released or something? as far for the themes when i download then and save them they never show up under my themes. could it be that im doing it wrong? i have aserg 6.1? do this ROM not let me use other themes?

1. You're rude.
2. It is not WM6.1Pro. Did you at all read what I wrote? 6.1 was never officially released for this phone, we (yes, I and others) ported it to this phone.
3. If you're not seeing them, you ARE doing it wrong.
Seriously, dude. I take my time to try to help some and you try to bite at the hand that feeds you. I could have done what everyone else does and said, " Search, noob!" Because truthfully, the answers ARE there if you bothered searching for the right things.
I even TOLD you what programs are being used, btw. That's about as much help as you could ask for.
It's not a THEME only, it's a SERIES of program. Let's quote me:

Now, if you searched for HTCHome you'd get the program called: HTCHome. If you searched S2U2, you'd get the program called: S2U2.

Pimp my Phone (100d reward)

I like the phone, but i think it really needs some adjustements.
what im looking for is:
-a way to change the background while using tf3
-a way to change the icons on the top bar (as ive seen in some pics)
-a way to change stuff on the today screen
-any app that improves how the phone looks/feels
if someone could help me out either with a very easy guide or link i would appriciate it, but keep in mind that ive tried sick many hours and failed. so its gotta be easy..

hang on here a minute. can you explain this a bit more clearly.
1. background, are you wanting to change just the first tab or all tabs?
2. Topbar, Are you wanting 1 already made or to do this yourself? for already made just visit the themes and apps forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=474 but i would recommend this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=520132. 3. The today screen is easy just go in to the today settings!!
4. Look and feel, HD Tweak is very good and found that this does work to improve the feel. I would also recommend a custom ROM for the final touch. Dutty is the man to see for these as far as i'm concerned.

-I would like a background for all tabs.
-Want 1 already made, probably wont be able to make 1 myself.
-Is it that simple? like I was thinking about some drastic changes like removing the calendar thing. anyway its not as imprtant as background and the bar.
HD Tweak is the 1 app i currently have, im also very happy with it.
what is a custom ROM? and is it easy to install etc?

Calendar 'thing'....Settings, Customize Tabs, Un-check Calendar.....SIMPLE!!

Sounds like you may like the NRG 6.5 ROM looks pretty sexy and has all that your asking look here scroll down too see what your phone will look like

Well its easy but you do need to do a few things, that may seem complicated, take your time with every step have a look at crackwhores guide the link is in my signature, there is plenty of help here so ask as many questions you want we are all happy to help
you can watch a video here that can help make sense of the written guide its not the best video guide but it may help I will search for more vids if possible

Cal-El's Clocks for new Hero style Manila 2.5

Here are some Clock cabs I made for the new Hero style Manila 2.5! One will give you clear flip panels and a blue tinted background with white letters! So I've downloaded them (and joined forces ) and came up with a new variant that fits really well with the rom colours. Check it out! Once again thank you.

Hi VETTE, sorry for the late answer...
I'll provide the clock for sure and try to explain for you, it's no big deal.
First I gathered the two cabs, then extract them with WinCE cab manager and then used manila editor to see wich files belonged to wich part of the clock.
So I wanted the blue background (there is a file just for that) and all the rest, black number background and everything else, from the green one. I just copied the files from the green clock and the file for the blue background to windows directory and it's done.
Never forget to disable HTC Sense before doing anything, also make sure the attribute files checked in the properties are "archive", "read only" and "system" before copying them to windows dir. And last but the most important, make backups of the files, we never know what can go wrong.

This is slightly off topic, but how do you get the calendar part under the clock to actually give upcoming appointments instead of saying the word "calendar"? Also, is there a way to add tasks to the home tab?

[Q] No contact details in cooked ROM - please help!!

Hi there guys. New to the cooking arena, so sorry if the answer is plain. I just cooked in build 23676, and most things work fine. The one thing I don't see is when I click on contact details, I don't see anything. Just a blank sheet. Is this a known problem? Any fix for this? I've also tried build 23129, and I see the same issue, just not the extra tabs.
Does anyone know what files are called for contact entry and viewing?
I've seen this problem reported in several ROMs (I *did* search!), but not a solution.

Can someone please tell me what files are involved in the display of contact details? I know there are chefs that ran into this same problem. It is driving me nuts!!

I probably cannot help (I have just added 23676 with no such issue, and am a noob chef myself) but it might make it easier for others to help if you added your device to your signature and explained what kitchen you were using, and perhaps what other packages you used (or things you had removed).
I use a Rhodium and Oskitchen. I still use most of the Rhodium 2.07 EXTs but have updated some to the Leo packages. As I said, I have checked and do not have that issue.

Thanks for the reply, C. I appreciate you taking the time to at least give your thoughts. The problem with providing all the information you mentioned immediately disqualifies my request for help. I have a "non-HTC" phone (well.. a non-anything phone really) with a Windows 6.5 ROM. I have piece by piece broken that ROM apart, and am trying to insert the newest build features. So I have to handcraft a XIP, go through every package, run custom osnbtool commands, etc. No help from any of the nice kitchens.
I am stuck at this one point, and I must have flashed at least 50 ROM versions to my phone trying to find the one combination that sticks, but no luck. In my search, I have found other chefs that made "standard" HTC ROMs that ran into this. All I'm hoping is someone remembers what they did to fix it. One example is here.
Would you mind doing me a favor? Can you take a screenshot of what the contact details screen looks like and post it? I can try to go through all the image files, and embedded images in DLLs to see if I can spot the graphics that show up on the page.

Err will try - need to dig up a screen shot app etc as dont use them or have one cooked in.
About to go to bed and travelling to a work meeting tomorrow so don't hold your breath - if no one else has chipped in by the time I am back I will try.

Yes - perfect! Much appreciated! Now to start digging into the dlls.

You are my hero, crazyC! I've made more progress in a day, than in the last three weeks! I discovered that I had missing icon files in the Base_DPI_96 package. So now I get a contact screen, but the background is not being populated. So I need a little bit more investigative work. Not sure how to get there yet. But man.. progress is progress!

Yes. You see how in my images I have a really blocky bitmap in the first, and a checkered background in the other? I am assuming there is a background image that goes there that I am not getting.
For your contacts, is there a special theme that you installed? I see a dark background with some clouds. If I know where that image comes from, I might get a clue.
