HELLO GUYS,
WELL HERE IS MY PROBLEM. IINSTALLED THE RADIO ROM ON MY HTC touch mp6900. i can get the internet to work but after i open the skyfire one up IT constantly keeps pulling up lil menus saying "dial sprint network *777" " sprint provisioning blah blah blah" keeps popping up. i have to keep restarting my phone in order to get that away. like a fresh restart needs to happen in order for it to work.
AND i installed the radio rom with the GPS update. did all the registry hacks, adding the com4 and it still wont connect in google maps. it just loads up(google maps) and it says "INTIALIZING GPS". Then it loads up the DIALING SPRINT *777 lil screens. it then keeps popping up(the *777 dial sprint).
CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT ON THIS??? i have looked but nothing has helped so far. if anyone could help i owuld really appreciate it so much! Thanks in advance.

GoogleMaps will always try to connect to the internet, no matter what you do. Do you have a data plan with your carrier (which I am assuming is Sprint)? If so, make sure that your connection settings are correct (ie username and password) both under connections and under EPST. You can call Sprint and ask them for this information if you are not certain about it.

Hi,
So i own a nexus 7 3g and use the t-mobile data service and i am hoping you guys can help me with these random data drops i get.
I will bring my tablet to work, put it in my book bag and drive to work, and when i get to work, the data signal is gone and its disconnected from t-mobile.
The only way i know how to get data back is restarting the tablet.
I was hoping there might be another way to get data back without rebooting, or find a way for this to stop happening altogether so i dont lose data randomly like this while i travel or leave the device unattended for a few hours.
I have never owned any GSM devices besides the nexus 7 so i am not to familiar with troubleshooting or any little tinkering i need to do with a GSM device/sim card etc.
So any ideas/help will be awesome and gratefully appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

There maybe problem because of apps like juicedefender which disables network in ideal/sleep mode ,So unistalling such apps may help you , BTW Are you sure network is not an issue ? Because even i have 3G Nexus 7 , i am also facing connection issue, My networks disables automaticaly anytime, when i use Wifi it disables my Sim network connection, It means i cant use internet without wifi though its 3G model I have reported the same to my nearest Asus service centre they looking on it , They told me there will be setting for data dropping , If i able to find its solution then will PM you.

Hi
Thanks for the helpful tips. I'm pretty sure i don't have any battery saving apps, i deleted the few i did have.
I don't have any network issues. It seems it only turns off when in traveling around with it. Its really weird, and i am confused as to why it just goes away only when im traveling with it.
It does get disconnected from the internet when on wifi at home and stuff, but i still have bars in the signal icons moving and showing me that i am connected to t-mobile service.
But when i am dealing with this issues and have no data, the icon is empty and it tells me i have no service.
Maybe just toggling airplane mode might work, ill try that next time.
i tried toggleing airplane mode, no luck.
It may be the connection, but is frustrating i have to reboot every time just to get data back. Even if i toggle data in mobile data it wont work.
Hi All,
I have been facing a strange issue with my Yureka.
Many of my friends and clients are complaining me that your phone is not reachable. To test this, I dialed my number from another phone and found they are right. Sometime it says, phone not reachable and sometime it doesn't say anything... just ... ping... ping.. ping and gone. Not even any message. I can see full network signals.
This has become now very annoying.
In last 1 hour, I have tried my phone 10 times and got connected only 2 times.. rest of the times either it doesn't say anything or says, not reachable.
Any ideas what could be wrong?
p.s. A little more info... while phone is not reachable, I can see full network and my 3G is also working fine.
which Rom installed on ur phone? & did u try calling to both sims?
Thanks for your reply ujilraj.
I am on stock CM12 ROM
I have no issues in outgoing calls. Issue is when someone is calling me.
They get phone unreachable message or nothing at all.
Today I tested myself and saw the same.
Earlier, I thought it might be some network related issues but it seems something else... may be hardware issue but not sure, therefore, asking for community help
Do u use dual sim? & did u set the network to automatically choose network? (settings > mobile networks> network operators> choose automatically). Also, Is ur preferred network type set on LTE? if yes, then change it to 3G or 2G...
Hi I ve going through the forums and found some info on this topic but couldn't fill my stomach with it. Thats why and I must say that I am in need for urgent pro help.
So I got a LG G2 Unlocked in India. Its Sprint edition from US that I bought in India. So its unlocked and yes I am able to use cellular calling and the 3G using 'Change APN' app.
where I just put my Network Provider name and then Apn = www
The major problem in my handset is that when ever I am trying to open wifi hotspot or I am trying to recieve or send files through Share it app it doesnt seem to work.
When I try to manually switch on Wifi hotspot it hangs and keeps saying "turning On" and time passes by and nothing happens. i am able to use the phone in every way in the mean time.
Same with share it when I try to use it it says the sender should press send... but actually nothing happens no matter who all send.
Is it something with the software?? because normal wifi does turn on and I am able to use INTERNET through wifi routers.
if its something I have to do with the software or If its a hardware issue. please help. In need of urgent help.

Funny you guys should mention this issue, but I found the workaround elsewhere. I can't remember where now, but it's easy, and ONLY needed until your Data issues resolve.
Try turning ON your Airplane Mode. Just for about 2 seconds. That's all: 2 seconds, then turn it OFF. That's it!
The Data Network Connection SHOULD reconnect correctly. Try again if it doesn't. Give it a bit, a few seconds. Watch the "data up, down" arrows to see if they show up. If they don't, try it one more time.
If they don't that 2nd time, turn off the Data Connection, wait a few seconds or so, then try again. I can ALMOST promise it'll work.
Mine was SO stubborn but I was merciless! I was FINALLY able to get it to work!!
Now I rarely have to do it and when I do, it only takes once to make the connection.
Best of luck! ?
