how to port vga games to wvga?

hey guys, it would be really cool to port 'simbsoft volleyball' to wvga standards, can anyone show me a guide or program or something of any sort to help me port this awesome game to wvga? please, this game is really cool on vga
i dont think you need to port it just, install it on your x1, then use wvgafix3 to switch the x1's resolution to vga
ok thank you dude, I will try that

Change the resolution of the device!

Hello.
I think that would be better if we try to change the resolution of the device , instead of porting manila's etc. ..
Is it possible?
thanks ,bye!
PS : Translated by google !
By replacing the touchscreen or......???
If it were that easy, it would have been done already. You can change the dpi of your screen, but you can't go above the max resolution because that is hardware dependent.

I've seen programs for WXGA to VGA etc. But I haven't found a VGA to QVGA yet. That would be nice to mess with....probably end up HR though...lol

That's because WVGA is just a variation of VGA, just adding a 160X480 rectangle of pixels to the bottom of the screen. VGA and QVGA are totally different. They are separated by a big hardware difference. I guess it might be possible (in theory) to downscale VGA to QVGA, but not the other way around.

In the begining of time, when Diamond isnĀ“t release (hahaha), and Manila alpha leaked, we can run this version in our QVGA using Nyditot_Virtual_Display.
Maybe this app can help you.

They have done it with ASUS P750, which had a VGA LCD, but stock QVGA system (WM6). Search for it, You can find that the cookers made a VGA ROM for it. But of course, other way around is impossible.
NYDITOT Virtual Display should help you
would it then be possible to use the xperia panel manager or does that has an other problem???

VGA to QVGA Golf GPS program...

First off,
Not sure if this should really be posted here as I am not necessarily contributing myself, but I figure this is where the guys are that can figure this out and if so, then the result will help many of of QVGA guys who golf
Moderator... if this needs to be moved please to do so... thanks
Here is what I'm asking...
GolfLogix has finally released it's Golf GPS program for WM, but they only released it for the Touch Pro (or just 480 x 640 VGA devices). I have a Touch and after I install this and try to run it says it's the wrong resolution.
I was wondering if someone in this forum can hack it to work on QVGA devices?
I'm attaching the cab
Thanks!
Edit: couldn't get the cab to upload so here is a link to download the cab...
