I got a new G1 yesterday, Had to since that new SPL that bricked it, I had to get new one.
I rooted my phone, No problem, Installed JF 1.5 Build, No problem, Updated radio, No Problem, Installed theme, No problem. But if I do Apps 2 SD OR/AND cache (I have tried just cache and tried just apps on sd) but no matter if I do them alone or apart or only do one, each time same result, it loops on animation part of boot screen untill I wipe. On my old G1 I did these same steps a million times with no error, but this new one is being a *****
So you think reformatting my sd card might fix this?

I am not sure what you are saying as you stated "but and this is my problem, every time I do apps on sd or caches to sd it loops on boot screen and I have to wipe it, to get back then it works fine"
then you state "yes sd card works fine and ext2 partition" so I am assuming that you are stuck at the andriod sceen and it just keeps rebooting... this happened to me just last week Ihad my phone in the front pocket of my hoodie and forgot it was there as I pulled the hoodie up over my head to get it off the phone fell to the ground I have one of those clear plastic covers but i picked it up and it looked fine, so I powered down just to let it reboot and I had the android looping screen... I reflashed jf1.5 and it worked went to do the apps to sd... loops... so I just reformatted my SD and re-partitioned it and it has been working great ever since even got the [email protected] to update to the new SPL... but I would try that reformat, re-partition... hope it works out for you!

Hey Tanner... Damn what did you really mean to say... LOL Just Kidding... all I can say Tanner is that doing that worked for me it got rid of the booting "andriod" and stopped it from bootloop... what can it hurt... just save everything on your SD card... if you have the Ubuntu CD you can even save you ext2 stuff if you need to... i have only used Ubuntu CD to partition my SD card so i can't comment on the other software that others have used... its worth a shot...
peace

Well I copyed both folders
app and app-private in ubuntu partition and reformatted SD card and my phone, re rooted it and put JF 1.5 build
and it wont work, the problem with the boot is fixed, phone boots but apps on sd wont work and this has never not worked before
the app folders are empty on phone and when i link them then they full but none will install or show up on phone even tho they say no phone memory left but properties says there 50 mb internal memory
so wtf, is it the phone or sd card? note before I got this new g1, the old one did all of this maybe 30 times without failure but this new phone is just....

Tanner i am not an expert... but you partitioned your SD into EXT2 and FAT32 correct you did the FAT32 partition 1st? and the EXT2 does not exceed 450mb correct...
Open up your terminal emulator (if you don't have it, go to the market and get it!)...
$ su (at this point, allow superuser access when the whitelist asks)
# cd /data
# ls -l (the l is a lower case L)
here is what the output should look like.

If your apps are going to SD, you will see the line app -> /system/sd/app as well as a line for app-private also...
The phone sdcard still works, and it does show system/sd on the thing,
but some reason wont let me do apps on sd
when i do the commands via adb
it removes current ones and i link to the one son sd card
but once phone reboots no apps are installed yet internal memory says 55 mb left but yet when i access the phone in data/app all apps are there and yet i cant download anyone it says not enough space
so whats up?

Sounds like a broken partition to me. Have you tried an adb logcat of what happens when your phone loops? It'll at least give the error and give us a starting point at figuring out what's going on.

I am trying to dual boot WP7 NAND and Android SD...
I am following the instructions this YouTube Video: HTC HD2 Partition a micro sd card to install Android and WP7 in the same card but I am stuck on the second part where you have to reset your phone and insert your SD card in the reader to see the WP7 partitions.
When ever I reset WP7, insert SD in reader, and open Partition Master, It only shows 200MB, it doesn't show the unallocated partition. Basically, when I insert the SD card, I only see One Partition, instead of Two partitions (fat 16 and unformatted)
Can someone please explain to me how I can solve this problem?
(I am using ScanDisk 8 GB class 2 sd card.)
PS: I have tried to search this forum extensively, but I couldn't find any answers (I am not sure what other search term to use at this point.)
UPDATE: If you are having problems seeing the WP7 SD partition on your computer, don't use an SD adapter with the built-in card reader on your PC or Laptop, use an external SDHC card reader instead. You can buy one on eBay for like 5 bucks or less, OR you could get one at your local electronics/hardware store for no more than $15.

So you do have 200meg AND Unformatted partitions ??
@1:22 it shows the Unformatted Partition being deleted which means it becomes unallocated..
You need to delete the Unformatted partition..
Then continue on with video..
i assume your using the tutorial from [REF] Tutorial: How to partition sd card to run wp7 and android from same sd card
and following the Third Method.
If you dont see an Unformatted Partition -(no idea why you shouldn't - if it an 8GB card there has to be something beyond the 200meg partition) i'd re-format the entire SD...and start again.
I have reformatted my SD card several times, using (SD formatter), but I keep getting the same results.
Like I said, I am only getting One Partition and that is the 200MB partition on my SD card, whenever I flash WP7 (even when I reset WP7, I get the same thing.) -- I am sure that I followed the instructions correctly, well, up to the point where I got stuck.
If anyone have any other ideas, please share...

Ok, so after a fresh format and before trying wp7 re-install you're getting an 8GB sd card right?
If yes - start again by reseting phone in wp7 with your sd card installed. (settings/about/reset your phone)
let it reboot back into wp7.
goto settings/about
What size do you see under:
Total Storage
It should list 7.xxGB (for your 8GB Sd)
If it doesn't its more than likely that you have an sd card not compatiable for wp7 sorry.
OK, now I see
Total storage: 7.20 GB
Available storage: 6.82 GB
Is this normal?

definitely - and a good sign.
do you have easeus partition installed on your pc, if not install it.
re-set your phone again and stop at the MAGLDR screen. (Hold Power button down)
remove SD and load into PC.
Open easeus partition.
You will see a 200Meg partition and a Unformatted partition....
Continue with Tutorial.
Sorry, for the late responses...I appreciate your patience.
OK, I just reset the phone again, and I have inserted my SD into my PC, and loaded easeus partition; BUT soon as I insert the SD, I get windows message that I need to format the disk in drive __: before I can use it.
Now, in easeus partition, all I see is one unallocated 200MB partition (logical)
Any idea what's going on here?

Well, at the very least that partition should be Primary and not logical...
sounds like a faulty sd card
In EaseUs partition delete all partitions under the sd list. (in pic below i'd delete all 4 partitions shown)
ie in your case the 200Meg and anything else listed (but only for the sd) dont want you deleting your windows OS.
Apply changes so you have one 8GB block of unallocated space and then try re-formating the sd card back to origional 8GB FAT32.
Apply changes...
remove and re-insert into PC, check and make sure windows doesn't report errors.
dump a few files onto the sd and try reading them. (pics or movie)
Providing all good to this stage, repeat re-set phone process..
reboot into wp7 and check /settings/about.... if 7.xxGB Total Storage, remove sd and check with windows... if errors like you just stated i very much suspect a faulty sd card...
If you can take a screen shot (sniping tool in windows 7) of the sd card listing the Disk it would help
like this

This is potentially what you want to end up with (mines a 16GB sd)
One final thing i would try is re-installing wp7 (DWI.exe from PC.)
(I'm running out of ideas due to my limited knowledge sorry)
Thanks, but it's getting late over here, so I'll give it a try and I'll get back to you later today or tomorrow (if time permits)
Again, thanks for your help...
I've given your suggestion a try, but no luck yet. I even tried it with my other SD card that is loaded with Android, but no luck. I think this may have something to do with my computer or something totally unrelated to my SD.
I'd really love to use WP7, while also having my Android.
So, If anyone else have any ideas, solutions, suggestions, please share.

well... you do have 2 sd cards i see, so worst case is you use one for wp7 and one for android.
Means you'll have to swap them out every time you want to change OS.. but it should work...
As WP7 loads into NAND you'll have to load an Android built that is SD MAGLDR compatible.
Hey, Canterbury
I found the problem and solution. The problem was with the built in card reader in my laptop. I guess it isn't powerful enough to read the WP7 partition or something; but anyways I found a solution. I used an external USB SDHC card reader to view the files on my SD instead. So now I can see all partitions on the SD
Thanks anyways for trying to help me. I really appreciate it.

I firstly assume your on one SD running WP7, and have partitioned your sd for android.
i use Cope's SD GB-CM7
As your using MAGLDR to boot, (instead of running wm6.5 and executing haret.exe) you MUST use an SD Android build that can support MAGLDR usually using a modified rootfs.img and startup.txt files. (Usually you'll have to copy and replace the two files manually)
Ref here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=913964 regarding whats going on. If your a linux buff, the instructions may be of use, but further down the page is what you need...
Yeah, you know what? I tired Cope's SD GB-CM7, but GPS doesn't seem to work, and I really need that to work. It's a good build, but I want to be able to have the full android experience via DarkStone's SuperRAM froyo 1.5. So far, I have only been able to boot DS SR Froyo, but then it freezes and you can't do anything else. I guess I'll have to keep searching for clues, or I'll have to go back to dual booting WM/Android

gps issues- interesting, i used GPS last Monday during a round of golf.
Good luck then.
So I've been searching online and I couldn't get any straight answer. Everyone else would rather talk about themes and status bar instead of functionality and performance.
So I just realized that my fascinate, running on MIUI FascinateMTD 1.7.15, doesn't support A2SD+ according to the SD card section on my ROM. I've formatted and partitioned my SDcard (EXT size 1024mb / swap size 256mb) and after rebooting the phone doesn't see or detect the EXT partition. So I ODIN'd my phone back to EB01. Then wipe data/cach/dalvik and re-flashed MIUI FascinateMTD 1.7.15. Then using the blue CWM, I reformatted and repartitioned the SDcard with the same EXT/swap size, then rebooted my phone. Same result. My phone doesn't recognize the EXT partition and it still said that it doesn't support A2SD+ . I tried using S2E and DarkTremor's a2sd but nothing worked.
What gives? Can ANYONE provide some guidance on this?
If I can find an old sdcard to use, I'll look I to it. When you said you formatted to ext, how did you format it? From Linux? Windows 3rd party partition program? Cwm recovery? Etc. Ext2, 3, 4?
You also mentioned functionality and performance, what performance increase you expecting to gain by going a2sd? I ask because there shouldn't be an increase by going a2sd. As for functionality, it should be the same unless you need over 1.5gb for apps which is your internal storage size.
But I don't mind trying to figure it out if I can find an old sdcard.
Uh you'd lose performance if you do A2SD because your internal flash speed is a lot faster.
Functionality being able to move some of the apps (that I don't use every day but will need in the future) over to the SD card freeing up more internal memory (performance).
I used the blue CWM recovery v4.0.0.9 that came with the MIUI Rom and the red CWM recover v2.5.1.x to format and partition the SDcard. I do plan on getting a class 4 SDcard this weekend as soon as I get my paycheck.
Been moving apparently to my class 10 d card with appadmin pro(in the market) for a while now. Is this what you guys are talking about?
Mine also states this, I had started another thread a few days ago.
I took all the steps you are, I finally gave up on what the settings say, I remember reading somewhere that the cm7 port doesn't currently support the sd ext partition, (maybe I dreamt this).
However I was able to move apps to my sd card.

If you get the error about not having enough free space, uninstall and reinstall the app.
I'll also note I believe I first got this error after wiping data and installing miui, then restoring from a miui backup. prior to then I could move apps just fine, however the reason I wiped data was because I got stuck in a boot loop when flashing an update so it could of been the update as well.

At one point, when I was on MIUI 1.7.8, it was still letting me move some apps to the SDcard. However, when I went to Manage Application and onto the "On SD card" tab and selected an app that was supposedly on the SDcard, the MOVE to SD card button is still active (not grayed out) as if it had never been moved in the first place.

I guess I look at that tab as a poor
choice of words, to me it implies these apps "can" be moved to the sd card, the check mark tells you whether it is actually there or not.

Moving your apps to the SD card will not help with performance. The 1.5GB that apps are stored on is used only for apps. If anything, your phone will be slower when using the apps on your SD card.
Sent from my CM7 Fascinate, bro.
I installed an app called Link2SD last night. It was able to detect the 2nd partition, mount it, and make the OS mount it at boot time. It can be formatted as ext2, 3, 4, or even fat32. What it does is it creates a link for apk, dex, and lib files of apps and moves it to the SDcard. So far its serving the purpose. I noticed that the latency isn't bad at all when opening apps from the SDcard. Takes a few seconds longer at most. It will get better when I get a class 4 micro SDcard this weekend. I want to allocate more internal space for frequently used apps, I'm an apps hog so my phone isn't going to perform as I expected it to if it isn't able to hold more apps that I want.
Ok so you want more space for the apps you use frequently so they load faster off of internal memory. That makes sense. I really don't believe that you have over 1.5GB of apps but I suppose its possible.

Hey guys
So, I finally managed to get on my PC to try and install WP7, but I think I failed.
I'm going to list what I did below.
1. Booted phone into bootloader (has Android installed from previous owner)
2. Installed Activesync on PC
3. Went into HD2ToolKit, did a Task29, then flashed MAGLDR 1.13 (2.08 HSPL already installed)
4. In MAGLDR, I went to Services and did Last24NAND and Wipe Sd MBR
5. Went and selected USB Flasher
6. Opened DWI.exe from YukiBackToTheFuture folder, which flashed fine.
7. Went to boot into it, but it hangs at splash screen.
What can I do? I need help urgently, because I need this phone for tomorrow. I don't know how to reinstall Android, and I have no access to a PC until Saturday.
Helpful points:
HTC HD2 European Model
2.08 HSPL
Not sure what radio, dead pixels at the area in bootloader so I can't see it -.-
Help!
CJ
hmmm it could be the partition or the SD card?
this is what i did & it ran smoothly
.. run HD2 toolkit
...bootloader
- HSPL 2.08
- Task 29
- Radio_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14 >>> not necessary if you have it already
- MagLDR
- MagLDR Repartition 300/ 45
...boot to magldr
- Magldr
- Service
- Clear SD MBR
- uselast24NAND
- USB Flaser
- Flash WP
- Done!
if still the error persist try replacing the SD card coz mine had a problem with Trancend's 16gig card.
Thanks for the assist.
I'm not sure what Radio etc my HD2 is running because of an LCD crack under the glass with dead pixels

I'll try this tomorrow afternoon if I have time.
Yeah, that's about phone in the menu. It was a picture taken when I received the phone in the mail yesterday, running CM7 Hyperdroid. Payed $50 for it, my first working HD2
I have downloaded Pdaimatejams ROM, so I'll give it a crack tomorrow
Thanks! will get back to you if it doesn't work
I'll use a 4GB card tomorrow

YAY IT WORKED
Only problem. SD Card not working is what comes up when I boot the phone up, and the SD Card isn't read on my MyTouch either :'(
time to get another one, Sandisk or Kingston commonly works well with the HD2, get not less than 8gig & if you plan to dual Boot get the 16gig.
Damn. What I did was use my SanDisk 4GB SDCard, and when I went to MAGLDR I did a Wipe SD MGR or something in services, and now the card won't work. Lost all my pictures and everything too
Is it possible to format it into a Fat32 format on my PC and give life back to it? Then put it in the HD2?
if you still want those pictures back there are a lot of software that can recover them.
for format try using mini tool partition - it's free
http://www.partitionwizard.com/download.html
BTW
any SD card that has info will be formated or erased so be sure to back up first

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1058809
How to Install
Download the ROM
Unzip using 7zip
Copy ANDROID + MIUI folders to the root of your SD card
If you are on Windows Mobile (haret) - use the rootfs+startup.txt from "_JaguarMIUI-VXX -HARET-" (UNZIP FIRST) then Click CLRCAD + HaReT
If you are on MAGLDR, Copy both files from "_JaguarMIUI-VXX MAGLDR" to you ROM FOLDER (UNZIP FIRST) then start the ROM....
First boot takes 5-10min ( Building 1 GB data.img )

When you dual boot you should always go into magdlr..10.services...1. boot setting...2. always menu. this will give you the chance to pick which os you want to boot.

sounds like your sd is locked...you need to reflash yuki v2.1, do not reboot after flash...just go through the phone set up until wp7 is up. install storagelock.cab via wpcabsender...run storage lock app to unlock sd...power off...now your sd is available for use.
remember yuki/xbmod rom locks the sd for security...so flash with care and use of sd. also think about buying a replacement screen...$23 U.S. on ebay
Intro:
This is a no-nonsense guide for running your Samsung Galaxy Tab with only an external SD Card.
This guide is a compilation of other (more experienced) user's solutions, as such I take credit only on gathering presenting them on a single easy to follow post.
I don't make any guarantees, specially since this guide involves hardware modification, proceed at your own risk.
I did this procedure on a Sprint CDMA version, but all Galaxy Tabs should be more or less the same.
Why would I do this?
Because your Galaxy Tab 7 no longer works (bootloop in GB Roms or Encryption Unsuccessful on ICS/JB).

Procedure:
Summary:
- Open up the device and take internal SD Card out.
- Re-assemble the device.
- Partition the external SD Card (3 partitions, two small ext4 and one big FAT32)
- Modify ICS or later ROM's update.sh to use partition 3 as external SD Card.
- Flash modded ROM via CWM (and Google Apps optional).
- Enjoy
Taking it appart:
Don't panic!, if you can use a screwdriver and build with Legos you are qualified to do this!
iFixit does a wonderful job of showcasing how to open the device up that I rather link to them than try to out-do them.
Follow their guide until step 13 then refer back to this guide. http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-Teardown/4103/2
To actually remove the Internal SD Card (that is not soldered to the board but in-fact glued to it), I recommend you take an exacto knife (or other small blade or thin screwdriver) and slide it around the edges gently; once the edges are loose, take your screwdriver under the chip and just pop it up.
There will be adhesive residue on the board, I recommend using some gentle solvent to remove it (I used a cloth with a little paint thinner).
Put everything back together (just follow the iFixit guide on reverse) and feel proud that you are done with the hardware mod.
Partition your external SD Card
I used three partitions (all primary, not logical) , two 500 MB ext4 and a FAT32 with the rest of the space.
Linux users will probably not require much help on deciding what software to use, but for Windows users MiniTool Partition Wizard does a good enough job.
Do note that your device will perform according to your external SD Card, so it's not a bad idea to invest in a category 10 SD Card.
Modifing the ROM:
Download your ICS / JB ROM of choice, unzip it and open update.sh
Edit both line 31 and 35 to be as bellow
Code:
SD_PART='/dev/block/mmcblk0p3'
Save and zip back.
Loading the Modded ROM to the SD:
Because we messed with the SD Cards, CWM will have a bit of trouble finding the external SD Card (until we flash our ROM).
Go ahead and connect your device to your computer and ADB the following command:
Code:
adb shell "echo /dev/block/mmcblk0p3 > /sys/devices/platform/usb_mass_storage/lun0/file"
That will allow you to access your SD Card from your PC, just copy your modded ROM to it.
Now, issude the following command:
Code:
adb shell mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p3 /sdcard
This will allow you to install the .zip file from CWM, go ahead and do that.
After checking partition types, your device will reboot and appear on a countdown to find the external SD Card, go ahead and reboot it manually before it does automatically (reboot to recovery with volume up).
Flash the .zip again, this time the installation will go successfully and you will have a working device.
Optionally, flash your desired Google Apps.
ChrisCTX, great write up, thanks! I have a couple questions if you don't mind.
Is that interior SD chip on the same side as the external SD slot? I ask because you noted the internal chip is glued in place.
Ok, found the information I asked about. Your web link doesn't work by the way.
http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-Teardown/4103/2
A common issue I have noticed in the forums is the Tabs that are running CM9 are getting very warm on the right side in that area. My Verizon Tab does this.
I'm wondering if the additional thermal issue is causing the adhesive to break down and allow the chip to pull away from the main board.
If so, then this issue may be repairable. I'm throwing this out there for others to consider. I haven't run across this idea in the forums, but if it's
been discussed, I apologize.
Thanks again for the information.
Yes, everything is on the right side (battery covers almost all the left).
As for the heat loosening the adhesive, it's not impossible, but I find it a little far-fetched since Samsung decided not to solder the chips in place, I would expect them to use an adhesive that could tolerate some heat, then again, assembly lines are known to do good ol' money saving switcheroos, so I'm open to the possibility.
Sadly I just cleaned it all away with thinner, I could have perhaps asked an Industrial or Electrical Engineer in my school if he could guessed what it was.
I guess someone could try opening the device up and applying some pressure on top of the chip and see if anything happens, I can't because my internal got some of the metallic dots damaged when I popped it off (Not that I care, I planned on doing the change permanent).
If someone does that, please do share your experiences, it might just save people from having to go all ape on their device
Thanks for the link fix too, this post's has a sister thread (clone realy) on rootzwiki and it shortened it there.
Shouldn't the tittle be External SD card only guide instead?

I have been looking for this for a while. Thank you so much.
I am in the process of using this to fix a Verizon tab. Before I took internal SD chip off, I make sure that it is not loose due to heat problem. The internal SD is glue very well to the board. So the problem of a loose contacts are not it.
What I have done so far is successfully removed the internal Sandisk SD chip. Mine did not come off very easy. It broke off bit by bit. but eventually it came off.
After search for the rom file, I found a zip file called aokp_plc_milestone-6.zip. I don't know if this will work or not, but I did modified line 31 and 35 according to the guide. I notice in that zip file, the file is actually named updater.sh instead of update.sh. I don't know if this make any different.
Now I need to learn how to do ADB.
It works
Wow! I am so happy to have my tab working again. Thank you!
It is really weird. The only thing I did was removed the internal "Sandisk" chip on the motherboard.
When I put everything together, It starts to work again. The system still show the internal 1.9 GB.
I format the external SD with two ext4 and the rest fat32, and the system recognized my external SD.
So I am back to working like before. The "Sandisk" chip I took off was not the internal SD. It may have been a spare chip on Verizon tab.
I was going to do some search on how to do ADB, and everything start to work again. So, I did not even run the modified rom.
I am still running 2.2. I need to read up on different rom to try. But as of now, I am happy that I can use my tab again.
works great!!!thanks a lot. But i can't access rest of my sd card.It only shows 496 mb + 500 mb.Where is my 13,8 gb?Any ideas?
Well, in the interest of seeing what Samsung would do to fix a card corrupted by the encryption bug, I sent mine in for repair. The status shows they replaced the PBA (printed circuit board). We'll see how it works when I get it back
can't install rom. Have status 7 error message, any ideas?
I think you need to format your SD again to see the rest of memory.
I have not mess with update the rom yet, but how are you installing the rom? Are you using CWM? I think the guide said to use CWM.
Also, if you are having a verizon tab, can you point me to what rom are you trying to install? I have not have the time to look for the rom for verizon. I am very confused about the rom since so many of them.

I formated it already 500xt4 +500 xt4 +rest fat32
after that follow the instruction to addind scripts from adb to make visible your external sd card in cwm

well, I think the guide said to get the zip file either jb or ics. modify some lines and use cwm to flash it. It did not talk about (rom, update and gapps). I have not flash the rom with ext sd only yet. Maybe the one you are following is different then this application.
The only other thing to try is to have the Fat32 as the first partition instead of last.

i have solved my prob by formating a 32gb sd, 10gb fat 32, 4 gb swap, and about 14 gb ext4, put cm9 on fat32, booted into cwm and installed from sd, hey presto all ok and seems very stable dont really know what partition i needed but it works, lol.

can you be more specific on what you are doing? did you use adb command to copy the cm9 rom into the sd? what rom are you running before that allow you to "booted into cwm"? How are you able to "booted into cwm"? Are you using the power and up/down to "booted into cwm"?
I am running galaxy cube 3 with cwm. I can booted into cwm, but I can't access my ext sd once I am in cwm. So I can't install the mod rom.
visualxda, have you tried
Code:
adb shell mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p3 /sdcard
?
Assuming you have 3 partitions like the guide suggest, this should load your SD in CWM.

Thanks for the response.
I can mount the SD when I am in CWM now. Somehow I could not do that earlier. So, I did not use the adb command line.
The problem I have now is asert error (status 7) on CM10, CM9, and Aopk roms. From what I have read, I think my kernel is too old.
My kernel version is 2.6.35.7-dsb9938.vzw.gtab.e104.1.12
If you removed your Internal SD Card like the guide says, then you need to edit a file inside the ROMs for them to work properly.
You have to edit the update.sh in line 31 and 35 to be as bellow
Code:
SD_PART='/dev/block/mmcblk0p3'
It's all there in the guide really, just be sure to read it and follow it step by step and you WILL end up with a working Tab.
Maybe because I have a verizon tab. The only ROM I can install correctly is CM9 Build 5. I always get error status 7 with CM9 Build 10, CM10, and AOKP. If I remove the first three lines of code on the update script, then I get error status 6.

I am unable to use the DRH_2013 Recovery at all.. It fails to mount the internal or external SD card so I cannot load ROM zips to either one... It also will not mount the ext-sd card when it's inserted into the slot, says error mounting. Other recoveries seem to flash the ROM zip just fine but it just hangs on the black screen once the boot animation is finished. I let it sit for at least 20 minutes.
Thanks, swamped on this end but I'll be happy to drop it on and test how it works with the dock once I get some breathing room over here.

Unfortunately the new recovery requires adb push to transfer ROM over to tablet. If you have a external SD card you can take it out of the tablet then transfer the ROM to it using PC. Then load card back into tablet and install from external storage.

Then there might be a possibility that you SD card might need to be reformatted. The recovery will read fat32 as long as it is formated correctly.if you are using Windows to formats don't do the quick format let it clear out all the 1's and 0's the long way

The only other thing I can think of is trying a different micro sdcard, or if you have used the adb setup before with a DRH ROM. Then you could in th3ory rename the .zip to the same as what team DRH uses and place it in the same directory that there's is located on the ADB setup and load it that way. Haven't tried it myself, but it should work the same since it is just a ADB script.
I feel so bad, it's been a while since I've been on here. So busy with life. I wanted to think you Nobe for putting out this baked rom. I've been running it for 6 months or so and love it.
