Post your Bugs/Issues for ROM upgrade 1.35

Thought I'd start a thread where people can post there issues/bugs on ROM upgrade 1.35 and it will also help people to make an informed decision before upgrading to this ROM.
I have now used this ROM on my SPV M3100 for over several weeks and the only issue I have is when using my 3 network USIM the voicemail speed dial 1 does not work even after going through the settings or registry the bizzare thing is I don't get this issue with other network SIM i.e. O2, Orange or T-Mobile.
P.S. before someone says I may have a faulty 3 USIM, I did not have this issue prior to this upgrade.

The HTC ROM 1.35 is different from the cingular ROM 2.06, it's supposedly the most stable of the ROM upgrades or so they say!

I haven't any issue, Radio & ROM 1.35 ... i've read someone has problems with messaging service...
Using a Task Manager ONE TIME only i've seen the Messaging Service stopped, just a reboot.
now works well, bt, wifi & radio

and what happend, when you try to change the very first contact on sim? I had similar problem, but on old nokia phone, not windows nor symbian.

Would the HTC 1.35 ROm work on the Cingular 8525?

loud busy tone even if Phone is on loudness=0
i have some problems with this Radio 1.35.00.11. The thread is about that, isn´t it?
First of all my phone beeps loud out of the speaker at the back(the loud one for "free speaking") if the Person iam calling is not available (busy signal). Even if the Phone is turned to loudness 0! Iam not sure that the Radio Rom is responsible for that, because i reseted my vario2 completely. But iam sure that problem i never had before(with the german origninal Radio ROm).

Because of that i wanted to flash the 1.27. Radio ROM to the Vario2. I took this one: ftp://xda:[email protected]_TMD-TMA_Radiopatch_1.27.00.00_107_GER.exe
The flashing procedure got complete without any error, but on the Vario iss still the 1.35.00.11! Isn´t it possible to flash to a older Rom Version?

Problem with basic phone call function

Hi all the buddies out there...
Did anyone experience problem with making calls and receiving incoming calls? I tested the ROM without any add on application installed. When I call my mobile, the first attempt will not be able to connect and it will end up into my voice mailbox. Second attempt will wake up the phone and get connected. Sometime, first few calls will be also failed.
About making calls, sometime I can't dial out and need to try few times. It make me very frustrated with the problems of the basic function of a "phone". I really appreciate any suggestions or fixes you may be aware. Many thanks.

Make sure you hardreset with NO/YES/YES options.

Thanks for your reply. Of course I do hard reset everytime I upgrade my BA code and when I wanted to clean up my phone. This is a normal procedure.
I believe everyone who is using it as a phone will not live with the phone function problem. I would appreciate whoever ever experienced this problem and have the work around method can share with me. Billion thanks and hope I can really get a solution. It is really frustrating...

i read your previous posts (re WM5 roms), and it is puzzling why your unit exhibits problems on calls even then...
is your radio already v1.15?

I did not have any call function problem with the earlier version of WM5. Ever since I upgraded my WM5 to newer version, I started to have the phone's problem.
I tried to downgrade the radio firmware from 1.15 to 1.13 to 1.12.
1.12 so far give me the least problem. I experienced drop calls occasionally, but huge reduce in incoming call problem. I still can live with sometime cannot make outgoing calls. The most important, people can reach me more consistently.

I had this problem on Orange UK; a new SIM card fixed it. Try borrowing a SIM card from another phone and see if the problem still exists for you.

had changed to a new sim card but problem persist..I think will just throw away my BA...

Wouldn't be cheaper to go back to WM5 or WM2003SE, instead of [FONT=&quot]throwing[/FONT] the BA...?

I experience the problem with Radio 1.12.
When I upgrade to 1.15, the problem is gone.

hello since I have problems with the sound of my BA can you please send me your complete software like : ROM, radio, and others so i can try to fix the sound rings and during the call volume too low...please

Disconnect after upgrade WM6

After upgrade to WM6, every time I call or receive the call, the phone will be disconnected.
Anyone has same experience ? And still, the keyboard can freeze if I want to reply a SMS directly I must go back to main menu, open the SMS, then reply.

Same experience here..tried all ROMs but same..
I have been facing exactly the same thing, as far as the Radio at least. I have also tried all sorts of different ROMs, even Radio versions but with no difference. Basically, out of nowhere i find out that my mobile cannot be reached for like hours, although it shows normal reception, until i try to make a call...then it gives me "Operation Failed" and loses the signal...only to start working normal again.
Could this be the beggining of the End for my Hardware or just firmware guys???

Ysut, one has HTC flash screen and one has Imate screen.... Other than that its probably just a few different 3rd party apps( in oz Imate is geared up for Telstra as they distribute Imate phones)... Still badly bloated with network crap. Cheers...

Charmer radio not working

Hi Folks
bought a charmer off ebay that worked but had an old rom on so i have put the latest image. It works fine as a pda but the radio will not work. I get full strength signal but immediately disconnects when i make a call and i cannot receive either. Does this sound like a fault with the phone?
The original radio on it did work but did peculiar things like sms me a dialling code upon reset.
The GPRS is fine as i can surf the net.
I have also upgraded to WM6 to try something else but again everything fine apart from the radio.
Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Simply try a littlebit older RadioROM. I think you can get it at Prophet's wiki.
If I'm wrong please tell it to me!!!

Sounds like a hardware problem to me.

It can be a hardware problem. But because he can browse the web and the original radio rom was working (OK a littlebit strange he says) I think it is software. He can't do much wrong if he trys a littlebit older radio rom and if that doesn't work it is a hardware problem. Try the older radio rom and tell us if it works.

Help... Problem with receiving calls on elf

Hey. I'm a new user
Bought an elf bout a month back, but the phone has big problem. Randomly, it doesn't ring when someone calls! Shows no missed calls either. Messages don't come as well.
And all this is very random. Some calls do come through. some don't.
Googled and found that a lot of peeps have the same problem. Supposedly, the phone doesn't ring when it is in sleep mode.
But i've had the problem even when i've had the phone constantly on and just locked.
I've tried soft reset but it doesn't work...
Should i get the phone replaced or repaired
Or is there any other solution.
I tried searching this forum but couldn't find any threads related to this problem. There was no information in the wiki either. Can someone help me???
I have htc home customiser, slide to unlock and a picture viewer installed. Original rom

Try hard reset, but remember to backup all your data before. Contacts, appointments, files etc. And better remove SD and SIM before doing it.

Unfortunately did it before i read your reply and did it with the card and the sim in it
I did back up all my data and contacts though
But the problem still persists
I guess i have to make a visit to the sevice centre after all...

hey evn i ve d same prob got it replaced from d servic centre bt it exists evn now..wid d new piece lol...its a prob wid d radio rom version...cant help it dey r helpless bear wid it..don hard reset no use mate... !!!

Problem after Upgrade
Hey I have a similar problem...
I upgraded my ROM and since then I cannot turn off my Phone cus if I do when i turn it on the Radio (as in Network) WON'T WORK! Even after I insert pin # it just says there are no networks available although every other phone in the house has network... I've tried rolling back to my old ROM (Blue Elves) but the problem persists...
Do you think maybe another Radio version would help?
The new ROM I installed had the latest Radio version and still, same problem... I'm stuck with a phone that has no signal...
Can anyone help?

even am having this problem of not receiving calls.....i even tried a radio ROM upgrade but still the problem exists...damn irritated....any solution for this?

Maybe CPU don not support. All functions well, but when I connect wireless, Bluetooth and GSM (long call), mine friezes. I have no solution.

Same problem for me too.
I even took my phone to my provider and they messed around with the IPL, SPL and ROM but still could not figure out what's wrong. I get txt msgs (didn't bother trying outgoing) and I can connect EDGE and GPRS but can't make or receive any phone calls.
I did notice sometimes the phone searches for a network but can't find it (even when locked to my provider).
This has to be a common problem. All other functions on the phone works fine.
Please if any of you find a solution, share it with the rest.

Onix Light Version Rom Cooked by myself.
FOR ELF/ELFIN
This version cooked by myself solve the problem of unexpected shut down on 50% and 30% of the battery. A ONYX JR. 4.1.4 (Lighter) was cooked with the last radio IPL & SPL.
I have tested about 20 different Roms and I found some stability in a HTC Touch ELF with this cooked ROM. Similar problems occurred with various IPL & SPL and radio versions.
I supposed the hard code for this OMAP850 with speed of 201MHZ is too heavy for all the functions working at the same time. With some rom versions the battery goes down like 20% in 10 minutes with All radio functions (wi-fi, BT, GSM). I supposed it´s solved.
Mine is working for 3 days without reset.
