Hi,
I tried some ROM from this website to change my wizard to wm6.
When the RUU finishes at 100procent my device restarts and normally it should be flashed. But mine always restarts the original rom. On the pc it says that the procedure has finished succesfully.
Dont know if this has anything to do with locking, but I used the lokiwiz to unlock my device.
Anyody an idea to solve this?

your wizard is still CID locked...
try it again ... follow the instructions ... read carefully the messages when running lokiwiz ... could be misleading sometimes at a first glance ...
I'll give it another try. But the lokiwiz keeps telling me that the device is unlocked. It doesn't even give me an error like you get with the AKU2.

So that is why I think that should be ok...
you may want to use the WST tool to check the CID status ... you find it on this forum. don't have the link on hand right now ...
Hi, I have a TMobile MDA with IPL 2.26 and SPL 2.26 and I was trying to put a new rom but the program gave me an update error when reached 99% an now it is stuck in the boot screen (shows in the bottom USB connection) but when re-running the program it does not connect and activesync does not detect the phone. Before the rom update program ruu gave me the that said the phone required a newer program version.
Did I screwed the phone or there is a solution?

Issue Was solved downloading from T-MOBILE the updated ROM and executing the program

Nope, you're good.
As long as you can enter bootloader and it reads usb in the bottom corner, your wizard can be saved. Don't worry about active sync, it won't read. Get a stock rom from your provider...if Tmo, it is available on their website. Plug in the usb and get into the tri-color boot. Run the stock ruu. Do not let anything interfere with the process, so disable your screensaver, don't let cats or kids near the usb cord, etc (trust me on that one!). NBow flash the stock rom. It will take 10 minutes roughly, be patient, DO NOT unplug usb for any reason...let it flash and reboot. Once flashed, make sure you are cid/sim unlocked...use lokiwiz (read the sticky on unlocking). You cannot change roms from stock to custom without first unlocking. If you are already unlocked, once you have the stock rom re-installed, you can flash to a custom rom. I have strange problem with my Wizard. 4 month ago i was trying to install Pathfinder 1.2, but when I installing this ROM using ShellTool my PDA bricked. Now all the time it's frozen on Splashscreen with IPL/SPL GSM and OS information. All HR completed without any errors and all ROM's upgrading finish correctly.
Once time, after 2 months for breaking, my Wizard just started and working very well, I do 2 HR and few SR and my Wizard still working good, but when I shut it down and pull out battery my Wizard again frozen and until now can't wake up. I have CID Unlocked by imei-check. I tried to install many different ROM's, e.g. Wizard Love, Dopod (CHS), T-Mobile, Orange (PL) but nothing work. I also tried way with SD Card but my ROM's doesn't work, I think I need some working dumped ROM. I was searching help on few forum but poeple on polish forums don't know how to help me. May someone here have idea where can i find working dumped ROM or have any other idea how can i fix my Wizard?

which is your device,post full data of your phone,IPL/SPL...? Make...?
As you say you installed through Shelltool,is it a G4 DOC chip version ?
You say it's stuck at the splash screen with ipl/spl and gsm version,which splash screen,is it OS (Rom) initial splash screen or a Bootloaders (Multicolored) screen ?
Secondly ,try to get it into bootloaders (multicolor) screen,if it gets into bootloaders,connect it to PC via usb cable,check small usb appears at the bottom of the bootloader mode in the phone,if it does,than flash a carrier's official Rom to recover back to it's default status.

Try the Button's ROM (which is in Wizard Upgrading subforum). Then unlock it again (It may be causd by a fake CID unlock when you try to unlock when IPL/SPL is 2.xx)

I was tried Button ROM sometimes but it doesn't work, I have CID unlocked by Imei-check.uk and everything is okay, I can install ROM from G3 and G4 chips. And ... I remember, that before CID Unlocking my IPL and SPL have different value.
PS. I was unlocking my CID, after my Wizard bricked.

You can download this rom CUSTOM__RUU_Wizard_1050412_WWE_101_11210_WWE.exe on XDA,it contains IPL/SPL 1.01,and upgrad this rom,then you'll find your IPL downgrad to 1.01,and SPL still is 2.24,and then,use aWizard tu unlock your CID,after this,your CID should be unlocked,you can use RUU upgrad any rom you want.
I just do this yesterday,my CID isunlocked now.And RUU now works on my device.

Hello! I have CID unlocked. When I install Button ROM my IPL and SPL is the same (1.01). Every RUU works but It still frozen. 2 Days ago i found on other forum this advice:
INSTRUCTION :
1. miniSD - formated in PC - FAT format (now FAT32 !)
2. Wizard On and Bootloader (press reset and keep photo button let go reset) 3 color display. Put in card to Wizard.
3. Connect USB - PCC to PC
4. Launch MTTY 1.42 (my ver.) with USB connection
5. Write command - r2sd os end press enter
6. Program it will record OS on miniSD
7. After recording make Hard Reset or turn on Bootloader
8. On Display should be written - Format partition ?? (5 sec.) - to confirm press Voice dial button. If inscription it will disappear repeat point 7.
9. If Format partition successful wait OS is write. Done.
10. Draw out miniSD
11. Make Hard Reset
12. Enter in bootloader
13. FOR NON CID WIZARD - Flashing Wizard RUU (must be proper version) - ERROR 300 is bad RUU ERROR 266 turn off Wizard and turn on connect to PC
14. With CID (for example CID G4) seek forum for flashing Wizard with CID G4

I was carry out all command step by step, and after flashing proper version Orange ROM my Wizard woken up, but today my Wizard get stuck again and now this way don't work, and I have to find a new method to rescue my PDA.
My Wizard woke up! I find ERA PL ROM (RUU_Prodigy_3829_382130_027111_TMO_PL_PLK_Ship) which flash excellent and working, but now I have a new problem. I can install other ROM after that but none of them work, every stucked at Splashscreen like before.I need to find some WM6 ROM which will working? Someone have some suggestion?

i have the same proplem but i have a g4 wizard and it's not cidlocked tell me plz what to do plzzzzzzzzzzzz :'(
First of All, I am Noob for all this flash phone stuff~~
I was using A-Unlocker last night on my Athena, however the phone got f**ked up
I was able to finish the Step 1 "Flash SPL". After I done with Step 1, here is I got from bootloader 3 Color Screen
ATHE 100
IPL-V1.00
ATHE100
SPL-V1.20. Olipro
and it unlocked Step 2 "Unlock Radio"
after the Step 2 there was a Notice popped up "Your Device must now be unlocked with a program, please configure your device and then connect and sync with Activesync. after doing so, click OK and watch your device screen"
and My phone stop at HTC loading screen, not able to boot to "Window Mobile" system. I did reset phone many times but didn't work.
Please Help Me Out here~~ Tyvm
p.s: I can still boot the phone to bootloader 3 Color Screen

Your device is okay. You can already proceed to flashing any ROM that is desgined for SPL 1.2. If you want just a good looking ROM, you might want to try PK3.0 ROM. If you want WM6.1, try irus ROM.
If I'm you, I'll skip any rom that uses SPL3.5 for the time being until you're sure there is a mean to come back to SPL 1.2. This mean you should skip AP4.0 for the time being.
To flash one of the SPL1.2 based ROM, remove your storage cards and SIM cards, and ensure your battery is close to full. Then get into Bootloader mode (by pressing down the Camera and poke into the reset hole - hold it down for a good few seconds until you see the tr-colored screen). Then connect your cable until you see USB on the device screen. Then on your PC, start the RomUpdateUtility program and follow the instruction on the PC.

ive been trying to upgrade an artemis mobile to a custom rom...and ive gone through all the necessary steps (cid unlocking, etc)
however, my device is stuck at the loading screen...and nothing happens after that...
i can get into the bootloader....but thats about it...
any suggestions on what to do?? i'd really appreciate the help

Does your phone gets into the bootloader....???
If yes, then after entering the bootloader mode(with color stripes),
connect your phone with the PC and launch the ROM Update Utility....
The ROM update will start.
If it does not, it means that you cell phone is still not CID unlocked...
Check your SPL as 1.11.0000
If it is so then your phone is CID unlocked, or else not....
