Im looking for a dockingstation for the x1 on my desk. The only thing is it has to be in horizontal format. well, i didnt find any in the net. Does anybody know one? it doestn matter if it has USB doc, i just need something to place it opened on the desk.

I have an XDA MINI s and have searched high and low (including this forum) to find out how to dismantle my handset
Reason i want to dismantle it, my XDA fell on the bed, and now there is a white screen with a few colour stripes.
I think something maybe have become unconnected
this phone is so fragile and its s tupid problem to be honest.
Please let me know where I can find some sort of instructions so i can attempt to see if everything is fine inside

The disassembly guided is available on the FTP and on this forum.. do a search and you'll find it.

Right i found the FTP section but there is nothing there under Wiizard

Top of page 2, has a photo-sequence. Make sure, when taking the camera cover off, that you do NOT pry it from the bottom. It will snap the tabs. Get something very thin, like a razorblade, and pry the sides up, then the top. After that, the pictures should suffice.
Well you might now I have a mogul/titan bc i'm putting this in this thread, I have no arm's or leg's so I have to go about my day interacting with my nipple's (realy easy when its cold) I was wondering if there was any way to get an extention of my moguls keyboard so I can still type on that, I have this software that my parents bought for me with a mic, what ever I say can be put into words and then put onto my computer, (easy to right papers ), So I was wondering if it's possile to get a touch screen for my mogul that is like 5-6x bigger than it normaly is, it's extremly hard to click on the start button with my nipple, or typing, thank's to the people helping with my situation,

there is an external screen for pocket pcs, but I don't know where to get one. Perhaps someone else can help you.

Great bit of kit if the phone doesnt have a flash.
I am wondering if there is anything like it out there or if it is possable to send a signal to the Mini USB conector that it is taking a photo and i can rig something up.

It could be possible, but look at the connectors. I don't believe so.
If you are looking for a flash with a mini usb connector (like our phones), there was one for the tmobile sidekick I color.
Someone would have to figure it out and write some software (I guess) to make it work.
wow.. i used to have that flash way back in the day for my nokia 7610!!
as for customizing a flash for a kaiser.. i dont know, but one of my friends has an iphone and what he does is keeps one of those mini LED flash lights (about the size of your pinky) and he uses that when he wants to take pictures, works out pretty well.

I have someone gave me O2 xda exec saying that it was not working on booting it up I could here all the sounds of the O/S and if I attach to a pc it would sync and I could browse the files on the PDA, which mains it was the screen that was faulty, well I got it for nothing I thought I open up this bad boy and see if it was something I could fix. on separating the lid from the main body I notice the cable has been snap were someone had rotated the screen around and round until the cable snap. What I was wondering is what the cable is called and could I get a spare one from the internet.

Hey guys, I finally got my Mini HDMI-to-HDMI cable today. I came straight home and right away tried to hook it up and see how it worked. I plugged it into my phone and the tv. then opened the gallery app. i got an interesting rev-Play-fwd screen. when i hit play, it tells me that the file type isnt supported. this makes no sense to me since it should only use this file type. am i missing something here? has anybody else had this problem? am i doing something wrong?

what file was it? did you take a picture, or video and try to stream it to the tv?
It's deffinately a bit quarky. Mine will work on my bedroom tv but not my living room tv. Which sucks because the bigger one is in the living room. :/

Yes, im trying to view the pictures i have taken with the phone.
Buggy? well that sucks... ill have to try another tv then. i only have the one, so i'll have to wait till im near another.
