what is the difference between the rom from andot becuz remove nina.ttf doesnt say much to me. filesize is excactly the same as andots rom

Is it indeed stable after e.g. changing Home Screen options, activesyncing and switching the device on and off a few times? And: did you use the most recent SPL (1.01.0109) or the older (1.01.0064) version?

only fixed 0.3 camera app.
keyboard driver from ronswens' wm5 amadeus build can't work in wm6.
We need to modify the wm5 keyboard driver for wm6 amadeus.

I suplied 27M 1.01.0109 SPL & 1.01.0064 SPL.
you can flash ROM from 27M 1.01.0109 SPL, then enter the WM6, flash 1.01.0064 SPL, and then when you reboot your phone, you will not see the red text.

Andot,
I had 1.01.0109 SPL on my Feeler and flashed 'back' to 1.01.0064 SPL. Now I get the red, green and blue screen (red: Typhoon IPL 1.00, green: Typhoon 1.01.0064 and blue: just Typhoon, nothing else) and I cannot load the new WM6 ROM.
I hope I did not brick my device. Any suggestions?

If you find 1.01.0064 SPL not support your device, you can flash 1.01.0109 SPL back. your phone os will come back.

How to flash back to 1.01.0109 SPL? As far as I know you need to be ActiveSynced with the device and - as you can guess - I only can get in the red-green-blue screen of 1.01.0064 SPL.

Please look at this to flash your device to 1.01.0109 SPL.

Your smartphone must be activesynced with the computer.
[*]Download IU_SPL+PatchedRUU.zip from here.
[*]Extract all the files to some folder on the PC and run Patched_RUU.exe.
[*]Follow the instructions and it will flash SPL 1.01.0109 to your phone.​

Already solved the problem. Solution: just in case other people get the same problem
1. Get into bootloader mode for 1.01.0064 SPL (the red-green-blue screen)
2. Run USB connection with MTTY 1.42
3. Press Enter to see Cmd prompt
4. Type info 2 and press Enter
5. Type format BINFS and press Enter
6. Now you can run 2003SE official ROM
After this you can flash back to 1.01.0109 SPL and install WM6 ROM

Do not have that ROM, I found a Qtek which worked ok as an intermediate step to get back to ronswens WM5

I try to flash my Qtek 8020 with WM6 Rom, but at 68% stage of flashing my PC updater window missing from my desktop. I retry to start updater, but without any succes, of course.
Now, my device is death.
Anybody has a solution for this ?
Please, this smartphone is in a very good condition (is new one, 0 min. talking, in fact ) ,i don't want to drop it.

i think this might work bcos it happend when i tried to upgrade to WM6 on ma typhoon.... do as following... n within no time it will be workin again.......
Now you need to access the bootloader. Ensure that the phone is turned off, hold the camera button with a hand, and connect the USB cable, after a second, you will see a white screen asking 'Need an IU? ", press 0 and you will see a 3 colour screen which is the bootloader.... Now extract the ROM which you have downloaded earlier on to your C: drive, then execute mtty.exe. Select USB from the drop down menu and click OK..... Copy os.bin into C drive. Now type 'l c:/os.bin' without the quotes and type enter, you will see a series of process. The entire process takes around 10-20 minutes. Please be patient. Once it is done, type ResetDevice, and you have WM6.

Moreover I've got a question: i'm now using andot's rom, in english so when i change rom to yours, the only thing that is gonna change is the font, right?

Did you follow this guide? You may find your SPL is incompatible with the rom your using. The first thing you need to do is check what your SPL version currently is. To do this you need to enter bootloader by:
Turn it off.
Hold the volume down button while you press the power on button.
You should see a tri-color screen with some text (This is bootloader).

[Solved!] Problem with flashing! (1.48 NLD > 1.66 WWE)

Hello,
A friend of mine told me it was able to just flash the rom by running the .exe from the htc website, nothing else was required.
So I did, and then it went wrong
I got an error fairly at the beginning of the flashing saying:
ERROR 294 (Invalid Vendor ID) I believe.
So that´s that, no problem, I´ll just put the standard Dutch rom back right?
Wrong, that rom says my phone isn't responding..
I can't use my phone right now, it doesn't go to contacts for example, and it can't start Sense.
I also get an error after a reboot "Problem with cprog.exe", and "Goog" can't be opened.
I've read all sorts of things about goldcard, HSPL and more. Can someone please tell me how to properly fix this? It's not important if the Dutch 1.48 rom or the WWE 1.66 rom is being flashed to it, but I just need to phone to work again, then I'll get the rom flashing thing sorted out.
ps: I used win7 while flashing, also read that this could be a potential problem?

You need to wait till 1.66 NLD comes out.
WWE can be only flashed using Goldcard, SSPL, HSPL

I understand that, but can you tell me how to flash an older NLD rom back?

Download the 1.48 NLD from HTC.com
Start your device, you should see a black grey warning sign.
Plugin cable, run exe and follow the steps.

That doesn't work, also my phone doesn't seem to be bricked, it just won't start Sense.
I can go into wm 6.5's start menu etc. It just doesn't boot the rom because there is none i guess?
When plugging in the cable and running the exe, it just says "Err 244, device not responding" because I can't make an activesync connection.

Shutdown Device.
Hold Camer button and then press (while holding camera button) the shutdown button.
This brings you into the bootloader.
Plugin cable till the screen changes from Serial to USB.
Flash ROM.

I'm sorry, but what do you mean by the 'Camera' button?
I've tried holding the camera icon in the wm menu, and then pressing the off button, but it just locks the screen.
I'm feeling like a retard now haha, but I really can't figure it out.

Just Flash HSPL and be free to do whatever you want.
Just in case you want to return it, flash NLD 1.48 back using the SD card method, and your phone is ready to be sent back to HTC

Yeah just flashed HSPL onto it.
Do you recommend using the sd card method or the active sync method for the 1.66 WWE rom?

Active Sync.
Cause flashing a Stock rom using SD card method, will flash your SPL back to stock.
So this way you will get the invalid vendor ish....

Done, now running 1.66 WWE

Help needed.. Phones stuck on HTC start up screen

Hi guyz,
I flashed the Leon ROM in the morning. After the flash the phone was stuck on the HTC logo. After a soft reset it loaded up and everything worked perfectly. I really liked the LEON ROM so I kept it and started syncing all the stuff from my PC.. I was playing with it a few hours.
I added some albums to my SD card and was updating the music player when it crashed and reset itself.
I can't get past the HTC screen again. I tried everything, soft reset, with and without the SD card, without SIM, taking out the battery but it's stuck.
Can you guyz tell me what it is or of any of u had the same and how u sorted it out?
If nothing helps what can I do? Can I still flash the official ROM or should I re-flash LEON?
Hope it can be sorted without exchanging it or repair.

I am a HD2 owner for two days now. I used to flash much with my HD1, so I couldn't resist any more and started flashing two hours ago.
Same thing happend to me after flashing and a soft reset. Only the white HTC screen came up (at first I sh*t my pants, I was afraid I bricked it for real ). I tried several things..
Everytime when I reflashed the device it was working again, until I did a soft reset, after that evertime I was greeted with the white HTC screen.
After searching for a while on XDA I found somebody stating that the RADIO could be the problem. I never had booting problmens with differrent radio's with my HD1. But for the HD2 this is different I assume.
My solution was:
- Go to: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611787
- download radio: Leo_RADIO_15.34.50.07U_2.08.50.08
- Place the radio (make sure the name of the radio is RUU_signed.nbh) in the same dir as LeoCustomRUU.exe (download here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4798017&postcount=1 )
- turn off HD2
- press and hold volume down button and press power on
- when the tricolor screen appears, plug in the USB cable and wait for the screen to say 'USB'
- Run LeoCustomRUU.exe and follow on screen instructions
- Wait for the process to complete
With this new radio my device started booting again Let me know if this fixed your problem!

Damn it! I wish I read this sooner.. I tried to flash the updated version of LEON 1.5 but nothing changed.. Now I'm flashing the original ROM 1.48.
I will run task 29 afterwards and try LEON 1.5 again. If it ain't working after that I will try the radio thingy .. Have to look up the radio stuff coz I'm still confused.. ehm..

The name is so of no importance! i can even call fu**er.nbh if i want to, Custom_RUU will still update it. As long as both files are in the same folder nothing else matters. If you don't believe me, then just go ahead and try it yourself

im newbie and just upgrade from hermes(my longest servant) to leo 512mb ,i accidently flash tmous radio, now i stuck at white "HTC" bootscreen. Currently
i run 2.08.hspl and still able to bootloader and connect to pc.
any idea how to solve my prob?
after a quick search as suggested in other thread, i try to run few steps which are:
1. run task 29 then install original rom.
2. run original rom micro sd
3. flash original radio rom
but still the same
any other trick/idea?

regarding point 2: did you use the RUU....exe file or the extracted file and renamed it leoimg.nbh?
What I mean is: extract the original HTC ROM to your desktop with either 7-zip en, even, powerarchiver. You will then have a file named RUU_Signed.nbh. Power off device and take SD card out an insert to PC. Rename the RUU-Signed.nbh file to leoimg.nbh and copy to the root of your SD Card. Reinsert SD Card in device and enter bootloader screen (press and hold vol down key and then shorlty on/off button). Once you enter the bootloader screen, then the HTC ROM will be automatically installed onto your device. If this succeeds, do a hard reset afterwards for extra security.

yes i did exactly like u said, and it installed the rom, but it became worse when my 2.08hspl replaced by 3.30 spl, luckily i manage to get spl 1.48 then 2.08spl again.

SPL 3.03 means that you have installed HTC Stock ROM 3.14! Do me a favor and enter bootloader screen and send me the info that's in the left upper corner?

OK, run HSPL2_RUN.exe and set it to SPL 1,66.000 and soft reset your device. Download form HTC's website the HTC's official 1.66 ROM with your S/N. Connect device to PC either with AC or WMC, without setting up your device (connect without setting up option). Run RUU1.66..... exe and this ROM should be installed on your device. See if this works, if yes contact me again about your future plans (ROM, etc).

OK, I'll wait. I'm not an early sleeper! You could also try to take another download link form HTC, sometimes Europe 1 is very much slower that the other options.

there is no 1.66 rom for india set (my s/n is india htc)..it was directly updated from 1.48 to 3.14
then i flashed with RUU_Leo_HTC_Asia_WWE_1.66.707.1_Radio_Signed_15.30.50.07U_2.06.51.07_Ship it stopped at 1% (invalid vedor)

problem solved! i found out that mine is defected hd2, it cannot boot or hang when warm or hot. i have to take off the battery for 5-15 mins to cool it down then put it back, and my surprise it boot again. the radio is not the culprit.
time to get a replacement from htc.

problem solved! i found out that mine is defected hd2, it cannot boot or hang when warm or hot. i have to take off the battery for 5-15 mins to cool it down then put it back, and my surprise it boot again. the radio is not the culprit.
time to get a replacement from htc.
