I also use Duttys V2.6 and do not experience this. Did you hard reset phone twice after flashing? What other software have you installed?
Have you tried asking people in Duttys rom to see if others are experiencing this?

I'm using Dutty 2.7, I face the same problem too. After some surfing and exiting Opera using menu, it freezes randomly. Had to take out battery to reset the phone... It's a fresh install btw...

did you by any chance install the diamond d3d driver and the 2 dll that came with it? i had the same problem and traced the problem to the d3d driver and the 2 dll. i uninstalled the driver and deleted the 2 dll from windows folder and opera did not freeze my hd on exit of opera.

Yea I did install d3d. Will uninstall d3d and try again... hope it's not due to d3d as it's such a must-have for 3d apps...

I downloaded the 4kb HTCAPI.DLL and signed it with MSigner, and it became 7KB. Am using it now, will post result if my Opera still freezes upon exit.

The answer is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=468861 : change your HTCAPI.DLL (5k) by HTCAPI.DLL (4k).

Full manila HD cab keeps loading..??

Hi
I used to have the TF3D(With tha panel installer) cab installed on my Xperia and it worked fine.
I decided to give Manila HD cab a shot sence people were saying it was working faster.
I did a hard reset and installed the manila HD cab by itje, installed the panelinstaller but when I choose to start TF3D it keeps loading...
I've searched the forum but I can't find the answear.
I wonder if I'm supposed to install the cabs in a certain order for it to work...
Anyone who can help???
Thanks
I was told just quit by clicking "panel" key, and re-select this panel. I haven't tried it, so let me know if it works.
I did try that...it didn't work. I did a soft reset as well but no luck...
I installed the Manila HD cab on my storage card by the way. I don't know if that can be the problem because I did the same thing on my TF3D and it worked fine...
Yes,I gotta the same problem and at last it is solved by re-installing the cab in phone rather than card.

I have installed Dutty't Leo R5 Rom and it works perfectly then i installed the following apps
1. Coreplayer
2. pocket player
3. Jbed
4. Iris Browser
5. Resco File Explorer
then after few hours i tried to restart the phone and it got stuck in bootloader then i had to Hard Reset to get back to normal
and this happened to me many time
I have Windows 7 Pro x64bit

Have you tried using the Rom without installing these apps? Install one first, then see if it gets a problem during a day and some restarts and then install the next. Maybe this will show you whats getting wrong.

I had the same problem. It was constantly stuck in the Smart Mobility Boot Screen. I tried all sorts of Dutty's Roms, even older ones and it was still freezing up. Especially when syncing or writing to the onboard memory.
Last week, I flashed Miri WM65 21895 Premium Manila 2.5 Rev9 Rom and haven't had a problem yet. I am cautious still about installing stuff to onboard storage and not syncing emails. I have installed the usual softwares (on SD card) and it appears to be running fine.
I have this problem too. Dutty Leo R2. And before this it was Laurentius26. The phone blocks it self, or the screen does not turn on. I had to hard reset so many times...
how did you flash the rom in?

Hi
Just an idea are you sure the back cover is properly placed , perhaps something is pressing the down volume button?
Jay

Top wm bar appears in opera...

...and in other fullscreen apps which support the g-sensor (resco contacts/photo viewer for example) when I tilt my HD.
Any known solution to this? :/

Have you updated to a newer genuine ROM?
I know this is an issue in the official Orange ROM upgrade.
as far as I know I have the latest official greek rom
I had installed gyrator2 and was afrait it might have caused this, however the problem persisted after uninstallation, even after a hard reset!
Well after searching a bit more I found the solution!
a) download this file: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3920829&postcount=522
b) IMPORTANT! Create a backup of the original LargeTitlebar.dll on your /windows folder
c) Replace with downloaded file
d) Soft reset
If manilla 3d is not opening after the first soft reset, deselect it from settings -> today and then select it again and soft reset
voila, not it works perfectly
Glad you got this sorted. Thread closed

Copilot 8 and Energy Rom Sense 2.5

Just reflashed the image on my phone to the latest Energyrom Sense 2.5
Since doing so, I have problems with Copilot Live 8. It appears to be an issue with the screen overlay as the menu buttons for Copilot are down at the bottom of the screen where this ROM has the start button.
When in Copilot the start button is covered up by the copilot screen and the menu buttons do not work at the bottom.
Any ideas on how to fix?
I am also using Co Pilot live. And while it does consume the full screen, hard buttons work just fine. I am using the Titanium only version, as I use SPB MS as my primary shell.
Have you tried uninstalling and reloading CoPilot?
I think that's by design for Copilot. Opera 10 and Mini 5 also hog up the whole screen. If you need the start menu, and you don't have a device that already has a hard start button, perhaps you can map one of your hard keys to the start menu w/ the Rhodium Keyboard Config floating around these boards.
I'm using Copilot 8 on an Energy's latest 21903 rom, and it works just fine.
I unfortunately cannot do an uninstall as I cannot select the up arrow in the bottom left corner when copilot is running.
I can do a re-install by running the CAB again and it finishes OK.
All other areas of the screen work, but since I cannot select the up arrow bottom in the lower left corner, I cannot change any settings, or modify anything. It's stuck once it comes up.
Ran find in the previous energy ROM I had loaded.
Reflashing to ER 21903 Sense 2.5 and will Re-Install copilot to see what happens.
I'm totally stumped on this one!
I've wiped the device several times with Task 29 and re-flashed with several different builds of 21903 with no luck.
Co-Pilot is on my flash drive and I have deleted the folders, re-copied from my PC and kicked off the CAB files again. Still no luck.
My problems started after putting on 23569 build which puts the start button right across the bottom of the screen where the copilot buttons are located.
I thought task 29 would wipe everything and get me back to start, but it appears that there is something leftover somewhere that is causing this.
Anyone care to give some thoughts?

Weird, I had problems with my tp2 after installing 23569 and loading copilot... put me in a bootloader loop 4 times. Not completely sure that this combo is involved, but the problems started after the maxmanila version of 23569 was flashed. For more details see this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=691984
let me know how it goes...
You could try this...
1. Hard Reset (with phone off hold down talk and end buttons and press the power button)
2. abort setup
3. start to bootloader
4. flash task 29
5. reflash HardSPL
6. Flash favorite ROM
7. Load Copilot
This sequence is what I finally did to overcome whatever broke mine. Keep in mind that I am still testing the fix AND I am not smart enough to know what I didn't need to do but it's working and I am using copilot without problems.
Hi all
I had the exact same issue.
When choosing the language during the installation the "next" arrow at the bottom of the screen didnt work.
The issue was with a 28xxx rom.
After in installed a 21xxx rom the issue wasnt solved.
Eventualy i reinstalled the original rom from the htc site....still no luck!
I noticed, on my sd-card there was one cab file for installation (copilot_wmsp.cab)
Om my pc there were two cabfiles: copilot_wmsp.cab and copilot_wmppc.cab.
Probable for use on an SmartPhone or PocketPC.
When i copied the files from my pc to my phone and installed copilot_wmsp.cab the issue still wasent solved.
When i installd copilot_wmppc, it worked perfectly. The configuration screen has a little diffrent layout, and that worked.
Now i have the latest energyrom 28xxx with working Copilot!

Opera freezes

This happens to me often where ill be browsing XDA or ESPN and my phone will freeze and i end up having to soft reset. ive already done a search and there doesnt seem to be a solution for this. i have applied some opera registry tweaks, using kumars 6.5 rom, opera build 35853. Does anyone have a solution for this?
BUMP! Anybody have any solutions, maybe if i reset the memory tweaks for opera back to defaults? Would that help?
Try installing Opera to your sd card and not the device.......it worked for me !
