Voice Command 1.6 Initiation Chime - Touch CDMA General

I have an odd situation on my Verizon xv-6900 (HTC Vogue) with the initiation chime. I am using the new stock VZW ROM for WinMo 6.1. I have the following programs installed:
SPB Mobile Shell
SPB Phone Suite
Sprite Back Up
Sprite Terminator
CodyPPC Personalizer
Chapura Pocket Mirror
I installed VC via Bengilah's 1.6.19209 Cab.
OK, now the problem: This is all on speaker, no BT headset activity yet.
When I push the mapped button (in my case the camera button on the lower right side) for the fist time when I am in the standard HTC home screen I get the chime. If I attempt to initiate VC again for another call I do not get the chime. If I put the phone to sleep, a short press of the power button on the top and then wake it up again with another short press (both standard operating procedure) I get the chime again for one VC event but no subsequent sessions until I put the phone to sleep and then wake it up again. This is consistent and repeatable.
Also, the chime never works when I am in SPB Mobile Shell, even if it is the first VC session after waking the phone up.
This was same problem I had when I installed the retail version 1.6.4622 purchased last week.

Anyone else having trouble with Mortsaver?

Hi again, I've just installed mortSaver primarily for turning off the screen but keeping my lecture video audio still running in the background. I've used this excellent application on all my other phones no problem. However on my M700 the buttons dont seem to work ie.Deactivation using assigned button (button 1) + button 2 absolutely does not work. Even using only button 1 for activation AND deactivation doesnt work (deactivation part). Have to get out of it by the escape sequence (2 presses of the power button within 10secs). However this ends up soft-resetting the unit (proper power off).
Any ideas on what to do or alternative applications to deactivate the screen but keep the video running in the background please?

I used MortSaver on my Jam, which was running WM2003. When I upgraded to a Jamin, I couldn't get it to work anymore. I haven't even tried it with my Trinity because I just assumed that Mortsaver doesn't work properly in WM5. I think it is quite an old version.
Hello,
Mortsaver works fine on my Dopod D810.
Here is a list of my options:
Deactivation:
Screen off timeout: 10
Power off timeout: 10
1st Button: Button 1
2nd Button: None
Show countdown after call: ticked
Other application buttons: unticked
Power
Turn off device: both unticked
This works fine when i'm using mortplayer in the background to listen to music (to unlock press power then voice command button). If this fails you might want to try downloading the latest version from the authors website.

HTC Mogul turned on by itself - any fix?

Hi all,
My Mogul turned on by itself at different time, even though I put it on standby/sleep mode. I.e. press the ON/OFF button, but NOT HOLDING that button to turn it off.
I have some Today's plug-in, like Spb Plus, PhoneAlarm, etc. These are also installed in my Hermes (Cingular 8525), also running WM6 and didn't cause any problem like the Mogul. So I am sure it's not the apps.
I have email pull every 15 and 30 minutes.
Any ideas?

TomTom minimizes everything when device wakes up

Greetings all, Wonder if anyone can help on this one.. we supply mobiles (Orange M600, O2 Orbit and HTC 3300 currently) with our delivery driver software on , this software interfaces with TomTom (currently 6.030) to route drivers to destinations , when the unit goes into suspend/sleep mode (ie the power button is pressed) and then woken up (power pressed again) tomtom minimizes itself and anything else thats running at the time ie our software, anyone know how to stop tomtom from minimizing or how to stop it from taking everything else with it - contacted tomtom support who are (unsurprisingly) a waste of time.
I think tomtom minimises itself by design when you press a softkey or power. for instance whilst navigating if I want to check my email I hit end call and it brings to today screen up.
only thing I can think of trying is in today settings switching off today timeout.
don't think buttons are configurable in tomtom.
hope this helps.
thanx 4 the response - unfortunately this won't sort it - the users will inevitabley press the powerbutton when using the device and this just minimizes everything when power is turned back on - if tomtom isn't running at this point there is no problem.

■■Save the power when Talking(FreeTalk),save your power more and more■■

■■Save the power when Talking(FreeTalk),save your power more and more■■
A sample program I programed, maybe it is usefull.
Program name:FreeTalk
Version:1.0
Public:Free to use
Author:BlackIIce
Date:10/10/2007
Request:A PPC with WM5 or WM6 Phone edition, need Microsoft .net2,for QVGA and VGA
Review:
FreeTalk,is a memory-resident program.when the user answers an incoming phone or when the other phone user answers the call, you can use this program to close screen or shutdown system automatic, when a call has ended, this program will close screen or shutdown system automatic too,not only free your hand, but also will save the power of your battery.
Because some number need you press some key to select a operation(for example press 1 for English, press 2 for German, and so on),so there is a function named "Except number list",when you dial the number in that list, the screen will keep open.
sorry for my pool english.
Howtouse:
1.Just copy the "FreeTalk" directory to main memory or Ramdisk(Advise: copy to storage card maybe get a wrong alert when start toghter with system)
2.make a shutcut to "FreeTalk.exe" in windows\startup
3.You can use "FreeTalkConfig.exe" in the "FreeTalk" directory to setup a action.
Oh thanks...I will try on my ATOM
I haven't tried your program yet, but I came across this idea in my mind earlier. It would be nice if it has some sort of delay mechanism built in such that it only turns the screen off after say 5 seconds of touchscreen inactivity from the point when the phone was picked up.
Also, after the screen's turned off, it can be turned back on during phone conversation by any hardware button.
That would be perfect. Just my 2 cents.
Very nice software.
It works fine on my trinity.

Wake up on screen touch

I've searched and can't find a setting so it comes on when I touch the screen. I have limited mobility in my hand so that would make a big difference for me.
THANKS!
I use a software called Cyberion Voice commander ( this may work as well with Microsoft Voice command as well ) and when i press the button on my bluetooth headset it would wake up the screen and then askk for me to submit a command. hope this tid bit helps as currently there is no touch screen to wake up. you either need software that runs in the background to wake it up via bluetooth etc, or you need to press the power button on the side. this is probably due to the way this phone works as well does many windows mobile's and if you could wake it up with the touch screen it could accidently get turned on just being in a pocket , or handbag etc.etc.
