Options to hide SIM phonebook from searching?

Hi guys,
Is there any option to hide SIM phonebook from smart dial searching? TIA.

This registry hack should hide the SIM contacts from viewing. Hope it will work for you.
Show/Hide Sim Contacts
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Phone]
"ShowSIM"=dword:00000001 ->0 to disable, 1 to enable.

Nice!...i needed this also since i have everything copied to both.

Voicemail notification ?

How can I remove Voicemail notification from my menu bar ? I have received a voicemail just before transfer my number to another sim, now my old sim is inactive and the voicemail icon stays on my menubar How can i remove it from there without listening the new voicemail. (some reg-hach ?)

The only thing I can think of that would remove that is a hard reset...

Is there any way to stop receiving this kind of notifications ?

Start->Settings->Sounds and Notifications->Notifications tab->Phone: Voice mail from drop down menu, edit as appropriate

Stuck symbol
If you've got the symbol for voicemail stuck on your phone then contact your service provider and they can reset it for you .....

Yes I got voicemail symbol stuck...
Unfortunatelly, my sim card is inactive already They have just moved my number to a different operator sim, and old sim is inactive When I put my new sim (same number) and I dial voicemail service, it says that there is no new voicemails and the symbol didn't disapeares
...I'll go for hard reset

i solve that problem without HR! in regisry editor HKCU\System\State\Shell\Vmail\Line(x)\Unread, key "Count" need change to zero, notification dissapear without HR

SMS name suggestion to only show contacts from phone?

Hi,
I'm using Dutty's 6.1 rom and FingerKeyboard. I installed the XT9 disable cab and I got the sms name suggestion to work but it suggests both Sim and phone contacts. How do i make to suggest only phone contacts? I have hidden sim contacts in the registry already.

Sense Phonebook shows Contacts And Sim

Hi, when you press phone to open your contacts, you get the Phone contacts AND the Sim contacts, how do you filter just one or the other.?
I like to keep a backup copy of my contacts on the sim, not just the phone, but i now get 2 enetries for each contact?

Go to People tab > All people > Menu > View and choose contacts or sim.

Yeah that i worked out, but when you press the phone button, it still shows phone contacts AND SIM untill you press the all people button????

I don't know why. I never even noticed that.

Not only that it shows all the emails too, i also deleted them all, and 10 mins later they are back??

I select to filter sim contacts. close it. even restart but it still shows both sim contacts and phone contacts.

Use a registry editor and do this tweak:

HKCU\ControlPanel\Phone\ShowSIM = 0 (DWORD; default is 1)
That hides the SIM contacts in the dialer only. They still show up in e-mail and sms screens, but at least it's not in the dialer any more!

i know you can tweak the registry, but it resets after a reboot...
