Hi guys,
Is there any option to hide SIM phonebook from smart dial searching? TIA.
This registry hack should hide the SIM contacts from viewing. Hope it will work for you.
Show/Hide Sim Contacts
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Phone]
"ShowSIM"=dword:00000001 ->0 to disable, 1 to enable.
Nice!...i needed this also since i have everything copied to both.
Is there a guide on the wiki to change/save registry entries?

So, how do i hide sim contacts from the contacts?
Thanking you.
Go to HKCU\ControlPanel\Phone and set the key "ShowSim" to "0" (dWord value).
of for that and a whole lot more goodness....
check this post...
I don't know if anyone has noticed this, but when I install custom dial pad skin my smart dialing starts showing sim contacts, the default smart dialing doesn't show the sim contacts (I edited the registry to hide sim contacts from showing contacts list)
Is there any resolution so custom skins do not show sim contacts when smart-dialing?
thanks
K
I don't want to show my sim contacts. I've tried the known registry edit:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Phone] "ShowSIM"=dword:00000001 ->0 to disable, 1 to enable.
After a soft reset the sim contacts show again. Does somebody have a permanent solution?
Solution
Fixed it myself with kaisersimfix.cab. Works flawlessly.

Sorry if this was asked before but I couldn't find the answer
I know you can hide the sim contacts from the list by menu >view then uncheck sim. But when you do a search the sim contacts are still showing up. is there a way to hide them also?
