I'm using Dutty's 6.1 rom and FingerKeyboard. I installed the XT9 disable cab and I got the sms name suggestion to work but it suggests both Sim and phone contacts. How do i make to suggest only phone contacts? I have hidden sim contacts in the registry already.

still a lil new to the wing, cant seem to find a way to assign ringtones to a contact, is it possible, so far i have all my contacts as SIM contacts and not as outlook contacts, do i need to switch them over in order to assign ringtones or do i need some other program
Not sure if you need to change your contacts from SIM to Outlook/device, but you can apply a ringtone to a contact in the contact details, if you dont find the option then you probably have to switch your contacts over to your device
thanks for the help gambit i found what u were talking about, and unfortunately you do have to save under outlook contacts to assign ringtones kus as a SIM contact you dont have any options

okay, i know how to asign new mp3 ringtones, but since i did the windows mobile 6.1 rom update for my tilt i can't make it work... any suggestions?

I have S2U2 v1.00 installed in my jamin, and it´s a awesome application.
Althoug, i have a little problem (maybe it´s a glitch of the application) that is when a receive a call from a contact stored in my SIM card, the name of the contact doesn´t appear, only the number appears.
Can anyone tell me how to solve this????

I had this same problem, you have to store all your contacts in the Outlook contacts. Then incoming calls will show up with name and number.

If you have a SIM manager, it may have a "Copy All to contacts" or similar.
Alternatively, WM contacts may have that option aswell.

When copying my SIM contacts to phone there is a small problem, when sending a sms I see duplicates... why? how can that be fixed? I know I can choose not to show SIM contacts with Advanced Config but that is not the problem...
"xperia tweak" has an option to hide all the sim contacts. then you shouldnt see any duplicates.
I am using the Energy rom. i tried the htc messaging cab to change the way i get messages but it made my phone slow. So i removed the cab and now my phone will ring when i get a text but does not display it on the screen. my emails are displaying with but not my sms. please help.

This should fix the problem.
Try it and let me know if it works.
Still no sms notification....all it did was change my sms ringtone back to the default ringtone.

I would reflash the rom again, whatever you installed my have messed something up when you unistalled it.
