I use spb online for what
GSplayer
A free open source app that can almost play anything, I'm using opera to go to classic shoutcast and then tune in, and gsplayer takes care of the rest... I had that on a Diamond , but will get a Xperia next week.
xperia has got streaming program but it wont play what i want it to like www.aboveandbeyond.nu
Online radio
Resco Radio works well and you can input additional urls
Selectradio
Use selectradio, it has XM and Sirius radio capability and even shoutcast too! www.selectradio.com . I use it nicely on my X1i

Same error I get if I try to use it on Resco Radio. Can anybody please help me on trying to resolve this issue?
Thank you.

but i found this link on radiostarusa.com
http://68.178.166.231:8050/listen.pls
this stream is mp4a and as far as i find, not supported by resco radio.
resco radio only supports mp3 streams, and some aac streams with resco codec-pack.
i have no idea any other player like tcpmp or any else supports mp4a or not.
anyone else might answer this.

The best website for online radio is:
http://thestreamcenter.com/pda/
You choose your state, and listen to your local streaming station, at least whoever has a streaming site. Works very well, in fact I've been listening to my local station for almost 4 hours, no drop! Only problem I've found (tried on one station only) is that you can't create a playlist file through the media player. The best thing to do is, once you've found your station of choice, tap and hold on the streaming link and save it as a web favorite. Then once you open that favorite link, I use QuickMenu so it's very easy, it will go to the page and about 3 seconds later the stream will play.
Also, found a Live TV site:

you must be kidding, there's nothing like tcpmp 0.81, good rom and set of plugs lol!
regardless of that, will try Kinoma(i'm surprised by that release).
I think this app is simply awesome. I will be upgrading h to full version ASAP. Great find; thanks for posting.
Best surprises:
- SPEED
- streaming podcasts
- auto update of local content
- internet radio
only thing missing that would make me pee myself: Pandora
thanks. concept is cool and could be replacement for a lot of apps. but video playback without fullscreen just doesnt get it done. maybe if you have smartphone with no touchscreen.
Yeah...it is a great app.... I love how you can use Shoutcast in the free version.
Did anyone find a way to make the YouTube part play in landscape mode?
$30 for a video player... I know WMP is not great but TCPMP is free and works darn well. Looks like Kinoma has a "free" version but the site does not tell you if this is a trial period only, if there are missing features, or ?
i found out that this version does not play my wma files, so its in some parts a limited version. ALso i could not find a qway to play youtube in landscape ?
amazing! only bad that fullscreen doesn't work.
It doesn't seem to support DivX...?!

Has anyone heard of any plans for an app for AOL Radio like the one the iPhone has?
Not AOL Radio in particular, but if you want to listen to streaming internet radio, StreamFurious can play anything on shoutcast.

Imeem Music is another alternative
aol radio
use the skyfire browser. nothing to download like an extra player) and it seems to work great. although I do have internet explorer runing at the same time as I write this, which seems to make the music jump slightly. But I'm happy. I have an HTC touch by the way.
I believe you'd be able to use the AOL radio streams in Kinoma Play as well.

CorePlayer... all you need is the URL of the stream you want to watch. It does Audio and Video streams.
Does anyone have a list of open rtsp streams?
